We had over a 30 minute wait to get the truck This caused us numerous issues with the delay And although we did not need the full time, funny that the truck was still due back at 5 and not adjusted to 5:30 But let me say that the people were very nice in the store Saturday night at 6:30 we went in to purchase boxes, the gentleman that helped was very polite and helpful The employee that helped get the truck was nice as wellJason M.

Two major faults with this order. 1. My original order was to pickup the box in Niagara Falls, pack it and have it delivered to my address in Florida. The box got delivered to the closest U-Haul location instead and I had to call to fix that. 2. Once empty, It took me three hours to schedule the pickup. Two chat sessions at U-Haul.com gave me two wrong numbers to call! One in Canada and one in Tampa which couldn't help me. Also, the local UHaul location wasn't answering the phone and the call would roll to another location. Even sending several texts to the rep Misty who coordinated the box delivery went unanswered! After all this I finally sent a chat on Facebook and was able to get someone to pick up the empty box. Why is it so hard to schedule someone to pickup the empty box? And why do the customer service reps at U-Haul.com have no ability to schedule something so minor as a pickup like that? Very frustrating experience overall.THOMASFRANCIS P.

When I arrived I was informed my reservation was cancelled. The store employee could explain why it was cancelled or by who. She was rude and offered no assistance and informed me there were no other trucks for rent. After several minutes and requests for a vehicle she finally said â€œoh a 20ft truck is available and here's a corporate number to call so you can complain.â€ I have never in my life been spoken to so rudely in a customer service situation. Even after returning the vehicle they could not offer a explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled. I would not recommend this location to anyone and will never rent from here again.joe C.

The two representatives on shift during vehicle pickup did not do a walkthrough. I was not given a key for the lock. I was not aware of it until I got to my location by then it was too late because my movers had loaded the truck full. So I worried about the door flying open and couldn't leave it anywhere for fear that someone would open the unlock back door and take our belongings. I believe this all could have been prevented if the representatives would have did a walkthrough to ensure everything was there.Renwick F.

I waited from 6:45 to 8:20 before someone opened the facility. I called the Manager and the President. The Manager was helpful and the President (Todd) 716.864.0037 of the area answered and then hung up on me. I also texted Todd and called a second time to no responses. Heather the old Manager ( 716.243.9784) texted with apologies and told me the Manager over slept. 2 weekends in a row with this type of service. Although my equipment was clean, I can't say that it was well maintained. The engine seemed like it would give out at any moment. It ran loud and wouldn't go over 75. In some areas that we passed through on our trip from New York to Texas, the speed limit was 80. It wouldn't even maintain 75. I think it's time for some updates to your fleet. The staff there were kind & professional. They offered 5 star customer service. However, the cargo van I rented was dirty & had dog hair in the seats. The back cargo area had dried mud. Jeremy Curley insisted I needed I needed collision waiver for $10. I said State farm covers rental cars. I paid for the fee and truck. I called my agent immediately and he confirmed I had coverage for rental truck. Jeremy was busy and said he d cancel the charge when I returned. Your phone service is ridiculous. When calling the local number provided to schedule my Ubox delivery and pickup, if there isn't someone to answer, it sends you to another area. Upon talking to the person in the other area, who cannot assist since it is a local delivery issue, they send you back to the correct area, resetting your place in the call queue. I talked to SEVEN people in the course of an hour trying to talk to the correct person. Finally, the last person I talked to was kind enough to take my information and message it over to the correct individuals so that they would call me back, allowing me to finally stop being on hold endlessly. I was told I could extend the rental if needed when I reserved it and then not allowed to and I was charged an extra $75.00 for cleaning when I questioned this I was directed to a tiny sign inside the truck whi h was not brought to my attention at pickup or reservation. It was my assumption that tru ks would be cleaned between customers. As someone who is retired and living on a fixed income this was quite a shock. And being 71 years old with arthritis had I known cleanup was my responsibility I would certainly arranged for it.Delores M.

Pick up was good, efficient and professional. Drop off was not. I pulled up at 6:55 pm. When I arrived I didn't know the location closes at 7. I saw a worker locking the door. I thought no worries, I'll do an after hours return, according to the directions on the door. I went to the website, entered in information and went back out to the truck to take verifying pictures. I had top back out of website to access camera. Took pics of odometer and gas gauge, uploaded then continued in questionnaire. It asked about cleanliness of the vehicle. After stating it was clean, the website needed more verification pics. Again had to back out of the website, take the pics, go back in...now the pics I had already uploaded for gas and mileage were no longer there and when uploading the ones I took 10 minutes ago, I got an error saying I needed to submit more recent pictures. I after trying twice more I stopped, put the key to the truck through the slot in the door and walked away, praying that the workers who got the truck the next morning would accept it without the digital return. Thankfully, they did and all turned out ok, with the exception of 20 minutes of extreme frustration.Brion Z.
You have a visual inspection after pick-up that doesn't match the damage to the truck. I don't eat to take pictures after pick-up when you already placed x's where the damage was. Plus, I paid for 6 furniture blankets and there where only 5.Bryan K.
The person that hooked up the trailer to my hitch barely tightened the hitch coupler knob. I pulled over after driving 1/4 mile and was able to tighten it at least fifteen full turns. This could have been a very ugly situation had it released. You should train your employees to get down low enough to visibly inspect that the retainer is close to the ball!GORDON S.
