UHAUL systems were down. I attempted to use the buggy UHAUL app without success. I was finally able to complete the SHARE process on the Microsoft Edge browser. Images wouldn't complete upload using Chrome.Ross C.

The vehicle needs to be serviced transmission is slipping ,front end alignment, and brakes where very soft . (Hard to stop especially when loaded) save yourself the aggravation of an accident and service the is vehicle.Anthony V.

I was overcharged for fuel. Contract indicated tank was full when it was only 3/4 full. I brought it to the gage reading slightly under 3/4. I received my receipt via email. I was charged for15 gallons.christopher M.

Online Check in would not work and had to stand in line for 15 minutes to get truck. The person at the counter tried to sign in Online as well and could not..Lawrence O.
It would have been helpful to get a demonstration of hooking up the trailer to the hitch, and tips on the best way to load and unload with a trailer. Also, the stem coming from the trailer is too long, it results in not being able to back up for unloading. We had to unhook the trailer to load and when we were done, trying to hook the trailer back to the hitch was a nightmare. Almost resulted in a hernia!Solace D.

Three things happened with my reservation. 1) I have reserved the furniture dolly which wasn't available at time of my pick up. I have to buy brand new one to finish my move. 2) The gas was below the quarter tank but the reading said it is above the quarter tank. 3) Finally, this is most important thing. I rented the one way truck and I filled the full gas tank, just wanted to feel safe and not to stop in between and by the time I reach my destination the gas level is close to three quarters of tank. I lost close to 12 gallons of money. I Know it is written in the contract that UHAUL is not responsible for the extra gas but there is some clause for these kind of situations. I called customer service and they were not responsive as well as they were referring back to the contract. I feel if this is the case may be you should the low gas charge as well to make it right for the customers. Apart from the above three, every thing else went fine with my reservation and truck was good as well. I hope UHAUL will make some kind adjustments to the contract in future to help customers.PRUDHVI C.

The staff was just amazingly friendly and helpful. When checking in, browsing for extra supplies and even when we called prior to coming in they were â€˜all' just amazingly customer focused. The fact we had no reservation, still had a truck for rental, the equipment was clean and ready for use goes to show how they are managed to three to ensure they are ready to assist your moving needs. I rented a car transporter. The older gentleman at U-Haul hooked it up to my truck. I drove about 45 mins to my destination, we started too wheel the vehicle on the transporter, and the trailer lifted off of the truck. The gentleman never connected the trailer to the hitch. When I returned it I told the gentleman, and showed him scratches on the truck, he told me not to worry about it, and that I could leave. The manager was not there at the time. This was on 6/15/2020. I have not rented from U-Haul since, I once spent over 30k per year renting from uhaul. But knowing that this man put my life at risk but not connecting the trailer, and making it seem like he was doing me a favor when he told me not to worry about it, just was not ok.Vincenzo A.

The gentlemen that waited on me was a great guy, polite and helpful. I have driven many trucks and trailer, which I never mentioned. No one ever explained anything and the truck/trailer our how the tiedowns for the trailer worked. When I mentioned I would have to I disconnect the trail to load the truck the guy helping looked totally surprised like this was never said, I explained it would be hard to load the truck with the trailer still attached. He had the guy write it in the computer I was going to disconnect the trail. Other than the guy at the counter the rest of them were very impersonal with nothing said but you can go now.Steve S.

The light in our truck was out and we had to go back to our apartment at night for more things and the light would have been very helpful. I also got charged for an extra day of having the truck which was not true, for missing and damaged parts also not true, and the wait times for a customer service rep are VERY LONG over an hour!!!!!! And we were not given our dolly or furniture pads which we had pre-paid for. I have been very frustrated over this whole thing and not happy at all. You should also include that the place you choose for pick up probably won't be where you are getting the truck from. We selected a truck right down the road when we initially set up the reservation but had to drive about 30 min away to pick up the truck which we were told about the day before. Just a bit inconvenient and we were running around before the movers came since we had lost some time driving to pick up the truck.Kyle B.

The box of the truck had debris in it.The windshield and rooftop had snow and an ice on them I had to clear off myself. The parking lot was an absolute mess from the snow and ice. We reserved a unit a month in advance and were told the day we were moving in that the unit we reserved doesn’t exist, despite us calling the day prior to confirm.
