Please improve your after hours drop-off process. I was afraid to just put the keys in the key drop and leave because I didn't want to be charged for anything and all the signs displayed stating check-out must be done online. I tried to check out on the app, but I wasn't receiving a text message from U-Haul with a numbered passcode to continue the process, so I called U-Haul and was ON HOLD for 30 minutes. I was exhausted and had my elderly parents and dog with me. I just wanted to drop the keys/truck off and go home!! FINALLY, someone answered and told me I had to take a bunch of photos and email them to her in order to check-out properly. This is not right; something must be done to improve this process.

Frank was rude to me as well as the customer prior to me. When I addressed him, he became belligerent and said that he has received negative comments, but UHaul doesn’t care. They won’t fire me. Maybe UHaul should reconsider Franks position. Otherwise, the gentleman that checked me in was super.

The reservation process made me very nervous that my truck was going to be available at my preferred location and date/time. That is because four days before my pickup date, I received a text and email telling me the truck I asked for would be available at a different location than I asked for (a little further away) and at 3 PM. I had asked for it to be ready at 8:30 AM. Thankfully I had the Scheduler phone # and called. That person found my truck type available at my preferred location and changed it to there at the correct time.

Gary was great. The only proven I had returning the equipment was that even though I returned it on time, I got an email saying my stuff had not been returned. My mother (emergency contact) also got a call. Not a reflection on this store, but uhaul should be honest when they ask for information. Anyway, the email told me to can the equipment recovery team which took forever after a long hold just to tell me that I had to call the store to remind then to check it in.

I waited more than an hour in line to pick up the trailer. No one knew what they were doing and everyone was very slow. They line behind me was out the door. I also had to call for reservations 4 times so I spent a total of more than 4 hours on the phone before ever stepping foot in the store. This was everyone else in lines experience as well. I’m telling g everyone I know not to use uhaul for anything.

Mobile service was horrible, I was unable to be approved through the mobile service because I had to keep sending a picture of my license. For some reason, they would not accept it, It took over half an hour and problem was still unsolved. A Uhaul employee had to do it manually. Ugh

I will not use U-Haul again. This experience cost me three hours in time and effort. The pickup location changed twice to out of the way locations. On drop off, I was told I could drop off and store at the same location. Not so...the location was storage only, I had to drive to another location to drop off. After wasting my time, the manager at the storage location indicated that I must have some other address other than my own. I told her that I didn’t have one. She insisted and finally told me she won’t process my storage until I gave her some other address. Pretty arrogant approach by Uhaul to deny me service unless I provide another address. Considering that I needed the storage I had to give an address. Seems Counterproductive but again a pretty arrogant attitude consideration I spent a few thousand dollars with the company. No problem with your arrogance, I’ll social media this experience and make sure my family and I use other means for our future storage and hauling needs.

everything was great. great service, trucks in great, clean condition. the only thing i would like to have my credits back to my credit card as fast as you take the charges out. if you put a hold on for a certain amount, and i come under that, why do i have to wait 3-4 days for a refund, do not appreciate have to keep looking for a refund, do it as soon as you send me my bill on email.

the manager gary (who i'm guessing is the owner) shouldn't talk to costumers, he is an absolute waste of space, he doesn't care about getting anything done in a timely manner, he is always distracted by everything but the task at hand, and he always complains, i have rented trailers from this location multiple times, and when i see him at the counter i know its going to take me 4 times as long as it should to complete the pick up. Some of the other people that work there are great-just not this guy and he runs the place. the last three experiences i have had there have been horrible, and they have all been with him. I'm going to buy a trailer. i'm done with the headache i get from this place.

Make sure all staff are aware that U haul do not clear out the remaining contents of the rented storage space for an agreed fee/charge. I was told incorrectly this was the case 2 weeks prior and it took me several phone calls to clarify the policy; thus delaying the clear out date.

I returned my truck at 1:31 pm when it was due at 6:45 pm. I receive a call the following day stating I never returned the truck. I called and they indicated that the attendant forgot to check me back in and send my electronic receipt. They finally checked the vehicle in but they put the wrong time. They indicated I brought the truck back at 6:45 pm when I actually returned the truck 5 hrs earlier. I just checked my credit card and I was charged extra. I will be calling in the morning to address this. What a mess, will never use uhaul again.

This was not the location where I reserved a cargo van. This location is thirty minutes further from my house. Lost two hours of work time to travel. Only had a six hour window so lost huge part of my time. Might have been able to work around but no one explained the relocation until I went to the original site to pick up the van.

Stand by the pickup info that you provided me via email correspondence. Was sent an email on 10 May at 2:28 pm that my trailer was reserved and guaranteed for Sunday 12 May in Glenside Pa .No additional emails or texts were sent to me prior to my arrival on Sunday at the Glenside Pa location. When I arrived, I was informed that there was no trailer for me and the only thing they could do was try to track down where one was. One was found in Norristown Pa which was another 13.2 miles away. I had no choice but to drive in the pouring rain to that additional location to pick up a trailer since I was scheduled to leave Philly that day. I explained to everyone involved that I could not reschedule my leaving and could not understand why the trailer was not waiting for me at the location of UHaul’s email. What a lousy way to conduct business and what uncaring personnel who just shrugged their shoulders and said they had no trailer for me

I was told by reservations that I would receive a phone call to confirm my pick-up time, as I was looking to pick up the rental as soon as available. However, I did not receive a call, but got an e-mail that I did not see until an hour after it was sent. I was specifically asked what my preferred contact was, and indicated to receive a phone call. Instead, I just drove to the location, hoping it would be available, and noticed the e-mail while standing in line. Other than this issue, this was the most efficient reservation I've had with U-Haul to-date, which is a tremendous improvement!

Pick up of rental equipment was very slow. Several people in line ahead of me and the staff did not appear to be sufficiently trained. In addition, the equipment I was picking up (a trailer) had not been reserved at the site (event thought website and the person I spoke to that morning has said it was). Does not appear that the u-haul website communicates well with actual centers.

When I came to pick up the vehicle, the estimated cost was considerably higher than what I saw online, and heard over the phone when making the order with an agent. I was stuck at that point, needing the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, the attendant while not rude or discourteous, was not personable at all. This is not how you behave with customers, even if you've been overwhelmed with returns.

The guy who seemed to be running the place does not understand customer service. When I return a trailer, I shouldn’t have to back it into a space for him. That’s his job. Other U-Haul owners I’ve worked with get this concept of customer service. I waited a long time just to drop off the equipment and then had another customer blocking my access to the space they wanted me to back into. Then the guy makes a comment to me making it sound like I’m the problem with the decisions he makes about running the business. I’ll go elsewhere next time!

While this location was great, we did not plan to go here. We scheduled a truck share at a closer location to us but there was none available. After being on hold for 30mins, we were finally transferred to this location. It was very frustrating but they did stick to the Reservation Guarantee and credited us $50 for the inconvenience.

I only wanted to rent a utility trailer to move a lawn tractor, so I went on-line to find the nearest dealer. After wasting my time going to two local Uhaul dealers and even tried to rent on line, I decided to try this place, (used to live not far away) the rental was worth the trip. They were able to provide what I was looking for. Painless pick up and return.

Fire the angry short temperd, racist, owner operator and fire his incompetent daughter.Will never rent from them again ever.I filed a complaint. Thaught at one point the guy was going to attack me not a good experience at all.He was yelling pointing and foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog. Terrible expirience . Racisim is alive and hate is real. I had to order my vehicles 4 times had to tell.them my phone number 10 times at least and they tried to blame me for the cancellation of my vehicles due to an incorrect phone number. I speak with no accent and I am a teacher. I stated my number in a clear easily understood manner like I talk to my students about 10times. Then he yelled at me for giving his daughter a hard time by repeating my number. Smh...never again.

When a customer comes in and tells you they left something in the vehicle that was returned a half hour ago, don't tell them no vehicles had been returned that day, then ask for the contract number, which no one ever knows unless they have the contract in hand. Also, try not saying 'Dumb bitch' about them as they're leaving with the property you were singularly unhelpful in retrieving.

The place was great. The manager was excellent. Everything else was like living a horror movie. We waited over an hour for a rate adjustment based on our online reservation. I will NEVER use you again and that's unfortunate as I have used your services 10+ times

They hold the intial amount for 30 days and then charge your card for the final amount while still leaving the intial amount on hold. I added an extra day to my rental, returned the truck clean with gas over the amount I left with. When I added the extra day I called Uhaul customer service and the rep assisted me in adding the extra day. She charged my card only after promising me that it would only be an additional $25 added to my first charge, so I was ok with that. I looked at my account online and saw another charge for the intial amount with the $25 added, I still was ok with it because I assumed the first charge would drop off in 24 hrs or at the most, the 7 days my bank told me. Here we are 10 days later with no refund of my money and info from my bank stating Uhaul is still holding the money. So Uhaul has my intial $154 payment on hold and the second final payment of $176 thay has cleared.

Your vehicle was not clean enough to put in the box spring and mattress. It had dirt on the floor. We put a tarp over it. Otherwise, every thing else was fine. The transaction moved smoothly. Thank you We will have no problem using your services again. This was the 3rd time we did.

Go to all your sites and see that they meet the standards of the 2 places I used today and the n Thursday! I was at a place in Milford DE 19963 on Rehoboth Ave19963 that is Disgusting! Same in Spring City/Pottstown PA19475 that was Not Open during Regular hours and looked awful dirty!

I picked up the vehicle around 6 pm on 28-Feb-2019 and I returned it by 1-Mar-2019 around 6 pm and I hardly drive 19 miles but the bill was 85.50 plus 12.50 $ gas (which is separate). Very expensive. They charged for 2 days everything... totally unfair.

With all one way truck rentals you should explain to the customer that the back door will not have a lock and if they wish to secure their belongings to purchase a lock or bring one with them. This would be very helpful.

No receipt could be printed when I tried to charge part of my bill and pay cash for part of my bill. Attendant had to delete first transaction and do a cash only receipt and then a credit card transaction only. You need to revise your system.
