Due to ur storage system being down. They couldn't rent a storage unit to me. Even though I reserved one a week earlier. But expected me to pay for an xtra day to rent the truck. To keep my stuff in.. Assistant Manager was very rude. (Granted at this point I was not happy) He rufused to comp any of this contract for my inconvenience. And none of this was my fault. Drove cargo van for approximately 600 miles in 2 days in 83 degree heat and the air conditioning did not work! When i returned the van i told them A/C wasn't working and I was told that they knew that and that the A/C didn't work in a lot of their vans. This is totally unacceptable!KEVIN B.

Everything in my UHaul experience was positive, except the Tow Dolly experience in Toronto.... They sent me to a facility that did NOT have a Tow Dolly...... And I wasted a lot of time driving across town to get one.... Then their computer didn't show that I had already paid for the Dolly..... Uhaul as a company can do much better with their customer service department. 3 times I waited on hold for 30plus minutes and couldn't wait any longer. That's poor customer service. Person at this location was not happy that the Cave Creek AZ location rented this equipment in its condition to a customer. U explained the condition and showed the pics I took of it before loading, and she refunded a portion of the rental fee without me asking. Great customer service.Duane C.

I like the easy in and out with a motorhome. Some location are elevate and that will twist the frame of the motorhome. This location is a flat entrance.Greg W.
Equipment sucked. Service engine light was on all the time from 3 miles after I took possession of it. Took 55 minutes to get off of hold to talk to someone about it. TPS sensor came on several times causing me to stop each time and check tires which made slowed the journey down and took alot longer than what I wanted it to or what it should have. Other than Codey at the uhaul center it was a pretty piss poor experience!!MARK D.

The fellow who took the truck back in was very friendly and kind. He checked over everything very efficiently and asked about the furniture dolly we had "rented". When I told him there were none left and that the guy at the pick up location told me he was going to take it off the bill, the man at the drop-off location said they hadn't done that, but he took it off the bill without a problem.RICK R.
A clearance light was burnt out when delivered, showed staff but no offer to immediately replace it, then was still not replaced when I rented the exact same trailer a week later. Pulled my truck into a very long line of truck at the return line. Had to wait 10 min before I could find anyone to help with the return. And of course just like the rental location the CSR had their mask down during the whole process.STEVEN W.
The ramp when I brought it to my house was slightly bent, like a U and it caught and would not come out without putting a lever underneath it and pushing it over the part catching. I would recommend that the ramp be fixed. Not everyone is going to be mechanically inclined to know to get a screwdriver and use it as a lever to get it over the catch. However the location was beautiful, clean, and the associate was fantastic. I would recommend as it is a great value. In fact I plan to rent again soon.Brian K.

Truck smelled like Marijuana. Transmission was in bad condition. Overall ride was very poor. Ived rented several UHauls and this was the worst. The UHaul app is complete trash. â€œNo network/connectionâ€ when I have a cell signal (I ran a speed test) during the return process and every other time I rent. Tired of poor quality.William S.

The gentleman that checked me in was excellent! My complaint is with the condition of the facility itself. There were absoluteLy no lights working in the hallway & was told it couldn’t be fixed until Monday (after moving day). Could not see anything inside of my unit. Snow was not cleared around the door so we could not get carts to work. As soon as you walk in there is nothing but others peoples JUNK facing you. I paid slightly less for a PRISTINE unit in MI that i could even drive my vehicle into for loading/unloading. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere. I always have a good experience with truck rental & my friends unit was decent, but this was way below my expectations (especially of Uhaul) for the price.Mishelle L. | First Impressions

My experience with my storage unit was down right horrible. The staff at this location is one of the worst staffs I’ve seen in any business that is still open. They are not accommodating, make you jump through hoops to get things done and sometimes down-right nasty. I would not recommend this facility or ANY of their services to anyone. I will try and avoid uHaul altogether from here on out due to my latest experience. My husband was very upset that he was not verbally told he had to have a special lock. He went to Home Depot and had masterlocks all keyed the same only to find out by a notice hanging on the unit doors that those locks were not allowed. I was charged an extra day for keeping a pickup after informing uhaul the need to keep the truck some hours longer. The charge should have been pro-rated, at worst. I was told a family needed to rent the only truck which was the location's only pickup. Fair enough. But being charged a full day because uhaul has only one truck is problematic. Poor policy.BRIAN D.

Was told I had access until 10:00 pm. Got there at 7:30 pm and could not get access per instructions given to me. Had to call number on door for manager. First she did not answer cell phone. Had to call second time before she answered. She said I had to use both access places because it was after 7:00 pm. I did and door opened but not sliding door. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20% off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm.
