Emdem MThis location is extremely confined and busy, which means the employees and other customers will be fighting for parking space in front of the storage area and often park their vehicles blocking your vehicle. Then when you courteously ask the employee the vehicle so you can leave, they'll say "I'm playing the musical chair here" and have you hanging, as if they're doing you a favor by moving their vehicle. There are a lot of homeless in the area and the whole block smells like sewer. I made the mistake of contracting a storage unit at this location; if given the chance, I'd rather drive extra 10 minutes and use another UHaul location.

LEONARDO RJose was very helpful, my visit was a very pleasant one. The gentle man that helped me hook up the auto transport to my truck was very helpful as well. He had to make minor modifications to my tow hitch to make the trailer connect properly. Did not charge me extra, which was very appreciated. Over all very satisfied with my experience at this location. Thank you guys!

WAYNE MThe whole process was a mess. I complained because of the inconsistency and I received a $50 credit no call to explain or apologize for the inconvenience. With that being said it told me enough. They are so comfortable with all the complaints they just automatically give a refund of a very small amount. No apologies or anything. I am a huge person on customer service and they did NOT deliver. I will say there was 1 gentleman in the front that was nice and understood my frustration- wish I knew his name.

Robert RWe had an issue with our reservation (the previous customer wasn’t going to return on time), but they kindly provided us with a truck at the same price to make up for the inconvenience. The front desk was very helpful and assisted us, within ten minutes we were already on our way to our appointment. On our return, the truck started making some strange noises, and we informed the staff member there. He was very understanding and did not blame us for the situation. Everyone who helped us was extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend the Northridge location!

AURA MThis is a very small and tight location. They need professional advice on how to improve the flow of traffic through this facility. At least two lanes of one way traffic moving from one driveway and out the other would help relieve congestion.

Christopher DI contacted UHaul Customer Service and they stated that this location was a 24/7 drop-off. When I arrived around 9:30 PM, both entrances/exits were completely blocked off by trucks and I was unable to deliver the truck until the next day. It was incredibly frustrating and if the business states a 24/7 drop off, they should adhere to that. Otherwise, it is false advertising. It was the only reason I requested one from this location.

JOSE RThe app is really buggy - it's not well-designed, it's hard to find what you are really looking for (promotions for buying boxes, for example, are in bigger type and occupy more of the screen than the command for going to the next step in the rental process). Taking a picture of the truck (as directed by the app) results in the app switching to a completely different screen, with no clear way to get back to the picture-taking page (which is an important part of the rental process). I could go on and on, but the app needs a re-design that makes it clear to customers how to find what they need. I do want to see boxes for sale, etc., but when I'm in the process of renting a truck or returning one, I need a process that is easy to follow. Also, when I make a reservation and fill out all kinds of forms on the app, including uploading my driver's license, why does it disappear by the time I get to U-Haul and start the check-out process? Crazy bad design, sorry. I always wind up having to get the office staff involved, which means I've wasted all that time trying to prepare things on the app. Your staff is great; the location is great; the trucks are great. The app is not. Thanks.
