I felt that I was being serviced by people who had no experience and actually didn't care. I was constantly given wrong information. As a result, I didn't have the equipment I was promised. I seem to have also been charged extra fuel fees. The diagram of the fuel tank in my bill is false. I was told the gas tank at the beginning was 5/16 filled. Or just over 1/4 of a tank. I returned it exactly the same way. The fuel tank on the truck was returned with the dial showing just over 1/4 tank exactly as I accepted it and not the 1/4 tank shown on the bills diagram. I had made the reservation days in advance. When I came to pick up the truck the people who I spoke with in the beginning seemed to disappear. It took me just over 45 min. to eventually get the truck. Also, I was shocked to find out that I could not park my car on the company's lot and had to find a parking spot on the street. I will never use Uhaul again and will never recommend you.

The two gentlemen that were managing the location when I called and when I picked up/returned the rental were very respectful and thoughtful. The customer service was EXCELLENT!

Good customer service this time. I prefer the newer cargo Van over the older ones because the newer ones are a much better handie and ride. I was assigned an older cargo van this time The newer ones gives you a more accurate view of the gas used on the dash board. I rented with the gas at 3/8 and returned it at a little above 3/8 and still got charged for fuel.

I had a very bad experience with the present staff. I've been renting vehicles here for 15 years. This weekend I had reserved a van and anticipated being two hours late to pick it up. I attempted to contact them by phone and alert them to this. I was put on hold for 40 minutes and forced to hang up. When I arrived to pick up the van I found my van had been given to another customer. the attitude was "TOO BAD!" When I told them they could have called me as THEY were not picking up--I was given the brush off. No compensation or discount was offered when I reserved a van for the following day and when I asked for one I was refused. The Management is awful.

It was horrible the truck smelled like cigarettes. I needed to extend my rental for another day . Which is normal for a person when moving . You never know what else might come up . I was threatened to have police report filed against me by the Manager Tanya if it wasn’t returned . Her extreme measures towards me as a customer with a credit card on file was despicable. I have never been treated so poorly. The excuse to me was that they had reserved the truck for someone else . However I am still paying so again why would that be an issue . Also her threat went through customer service whom also was a little taken back that she had to relay that to me. When I went to return the truck, I wasn’t even greeted as I walked in and stood there for 10 mins waiting . However I called cooperate . I also filed a complaint. I will make sure that this is seen on all of my social networks. Instagram , Facebook , and Twitter . It’s sad that Uhaul whom I have never had an issue with prior would have a person with such a negative, and vile , personality represent them. I was shocked . I had to go across the city to another location to get the same truck rented. Which was a total inconvenience, because I had to leave work due to her threat to me .Might I ad totally different experience. The people where so pleasant. I will never rent from this location again better yet not from Uhaul again. Maybe some crash courses on customer service will be needed in the future . I got my email excelled to the hierarchy. I will also report this to the BBB . Again I wouldn’t wish this treatment on anyone . I hope that know one else in the future has to experience this .

I waited a long time to get a receipt and found out that my balance would not be adjusted because I did a one way. My mileage was about 10 miles under the estimated miles. I wasn't even aware of that. Ugh again!

My dolly wasn’t in the truck when I called and asked it all of my equipment was ready. They said yes. Clearly they did not check and I had to move without a dolly.

I asked for the vehicle to be picked up at township line in Westchester Pike in Havertown and had to pick it up at this location at 6141 Lancaster avenue in Philadelphia there's a bit of difference in mileage to where I was going and inconvenience on my part to get to that place I don't understand why this was done and I was never notified as to that location which to where I was to pick it up

I mistakenly left 3 very nice blankets in the back of the truck. I called the next day and was told they were thrown out. I could have been called. Also I think I drive less miles then estimated. I was told the odometer would be checked. I don't think that occurred.

The owner was very helpful to us dealing with an eviction of a storage unit. We were an hour late for a pickup of our truck, but she was able to provide us another immediately. I highly recommend this location.

When I picked up the truck it had 3/8 of a tank of gas. When I bought it back it had 2/8 of a tank. While I’d put gas in it I screwed up and didn’t fill it the extra 1/8 it needed. When I got the final bill emailed to me it had 2 charges totaling $74.20 to make up for the 1/8 of a gallon that was missing. While I can understand some nominal fee, this is almost double the cost of my rental. I’m extremely angry and this. And while I don’t use U-Haul often, it’s where I go when I need a truck. But going forward I’m going to have to look elsewhere. Also, I’ve been on hold for customer service for 10 minutes. I’ve had time to write this complaint and post it on various social media.

They put the wrong mileage on paper, then it was in the vehicle. And they over charged me I went 14 miles, but they said I went more miles thn that and charged me 95.00 when I only had the vehicle for three hours . Don’t like it at all, bad business

I am very dissatisfied with the services ... due to the fact that you did not have a non-single trailer of the right size in the state of Delaver .. I was given a trailer right in Philadelphia, and I needed in the area of Newark. I had to drive 1 hour 30 minutes one way only with a trailer and a 1 hour 30 minutes to get it back in total. I spent 6 hours just pulling and passing the trail but when. I passed it 30 minutes later than I took money from me for 2 days of use .. this is a nightmare

Overall communication and experience within the Uhaul was very poor. I was informed by central scheduling to go to a specific location for my pickup, and no one was there and the location look like a deserted gas station. When scheduling change my pickup location, the employees were not very knowledgeable about working their computer system. I personally had to provide them with assistance and ensure the proper information was entered. Also, when I went to the drop off location upon my destination in Richmond, VA, this hub was not aware of scheduling communication for the drop. This was the worst service I have ever experienced with any company. I would suggest more audits being performed throughout your organization to ensure better customer service and training. Larry k. The rental policy keeps chanving and they will rent a 10' truck using a visa debit card but not a van. Whats the difference. They did it that way for years. And stop changing personnel around. The new people are lazy and not very friendly at all. The one girl didnt know anything. If you can rent a truck with a visa debit, you should be able to rent a van the same way. Stop changing the policy.

Stop trying to find reasons to charge someone extra when they already paid too much from the beginning. 39.99truck cost 114.00 then next day youcharge me 160.00 for nothing. Yea very unhappy 274.00 for what move from house to storage. I'd say that is ridiculous n you'd agree.

The final location for picking up my truck was pleasant and helpful. But the process to reserve and get a truck was frustrating and unpleasant. I reserved online so that I could see what trucks and locations were available and picked a location with that specifically said it had the truck I needed that was mid trip for our move. The evening before my reservation I got a phone call that was both extremely difficult to understand due to mumbling and background noise but unfortunately the rep was also short and unhelpful as I asked questions trying to understand where I was being directed and if other locations were available that would be closer. Ultimately they hung up on me as I was asking about different options. I called corporate and they directed me to a 1-800 line in Philly and I ended up still having to use the location that was approx 9 miles away the wrong direction however I understood several options I had otherwise. The morning of I tried to check out the truck using the online app and got stuck in the awaiting license confirmation and the chat was unresponsive. The local store rep called and them discontinue my online check in and processed it locally.

The hours of operation is 7am and I called at 7:30, 8;00, & 8;30 with no answer. When I returned the trailer I told the attendant I was moving things out of the trailer, while in the trailer the attendant unhooked the trailer from my truck and I fell inside the trailer. I can out the trailer screaming at the attendant and he didn't apologize or ask was I okay initially. Very careless and dangerous behavior.

The overall experience at this location was terrible!! I arrive Sunday morning to get my truck had to wait for about 20 minutes when I already reserved a truck that Friday. The staff is very unprofessional eating while completing my reservation and talking to me, when it was time to return my truck the young lady that checked me in messed up the reservation put it in the system that I had a balance but in all reality I had a credit!! After sitting in the parking lot for 45 minutes because no one knew what was going on and how she put the reservation in the system had to call upper management to resolve the issue! So will I ever return to this location no!!!!
