I arrived at 6:55. The employee was working with someone else and then told us we had to do 24/7 and they were closed. He was extremely rude and finally checked in our trucks. Secondly, I was told it had a full tank and when I left I notice it was 3/4 full. I took a picture and I filled it up because I didn't know if I could make it before it closed and even though I did he said he couldn't do anything about that.Brian S.

I have never had an issue renting from this location, until this past rental. I picked up trailer on Thursday at 1:30pm. Dropped trailer off Friday before 1pm.I was told from gentleman who unhooked it from my truck that I would be getting receipt in email. Didn't get receipt until Sunday saying that I dropped off trailer on Saturday at 1:30pm. Called customer service and they said they had closed out order because no one at the U-Haul location officially checked in equipment when I dropped it off. They said they would send email to store manager to get refund for extra day that was charged to my card. I hope this gets resolved.David L.

The 2 employees that were on duty that morning were not very helpful to my needs I had to call customer service to get what I needed before I left. The website to do my Inspection was down so I couldn't even do that.ANDREW P.
I had to purchase a 4 to 7 pin adapter for my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado truck for the lights. The adapter purchased from the U-haul store only had four pins, rather than five, therefore the running lights did not work during my trip. It would be very helpful for the stores to sell a four to seven pin adapter that includes a fifth pin to retain the running lights on the trailer. I used the hazard lights to alert oncoming traffic after dark. Other than this issue, I was very satisfied with the equipment and service.Rick J.
Professional staff, excellent equipment. I hate moving, but I was able to load a 20' truck in 3hrs, drive 800 miles in 15hrs, u load in 3hrs & return the truck in 1.5 days on a 4 day rental. Smooth transaction, GREAT EQUIPMENT, excellent move help, GREAT PROFESSIONAL UHAUL STAFF. They may make me "hate" moving a little less.Lloyd L.

The trailer has screws and some other small things but it was still an extremely good experience. I've rented there before and I will continue to rent there in the future. My experience at the U-Haul in Paducah Kentucky. My experience yesterday was awful. First off I had to wait for the storage place to open to retrieve the key to get into my storage. I thought they opened at 8:00 they open at 7:00 a.m. so I fiddle around until 8:00 a.m. which was already invading my time space. So the hours are not all that great for somebody's in a rush to move things in when they need to and then on top of that have to go to the office to retrieve a key to open my unit. Then I was told that my unit has been closed out put me into a near anxiety attack. I was beside myself as to what could have happened. I had just been in the storage said yesterday putting things in I told the employee. He proceeded to tell me well I don't know what to tell you you're not in here anywhere. As I said my car was loaded I had to go in whenever it was a convenient for the company's time to be open and I was in a huge hurry to get a friend of mine to a very important doctor's appointment. And my car was totally packed full of things so I need to put into the storage which I waited for the office to open. I waited until 8:00 a.m. I'm thinking that's when it opened. Evidently it opens at 7:00 a.m. under what it does not say that online of course I should have called but I really didn't have time. Everything was taken care of eventually although not fast enough for me being so I wasn't a huge rush and it really caused a lot of problems for the rest of my day. I called the 1-800 number that is listed the first time I called I was put on hold for the girl to reach a manager and they hung up on me. By this time I was totally livid and beside myself thinking great I cannot get into my storage I got my car full what am I going to do? So I took a big breath and I called back again and thank goodness I reached Ann and she was wonderful she walked me through it calm me down and told me what was going on pretty much. The hours do kind of suck especially when you're trying to move in and you're so busy packing number one using a card number two and don't have a lot of time on your day and have to revolve it around a schedule of the office other than that it's great and I would probably recommend it to friends.Gerri G. | First Impressions

The woman I had to deal with was insufferable. Couldn't understand why I would be upset when you make a reservation for a truck with rideshare 24/7 3 days before and come there at 7 am and surprisingly there is no truck for me. She gave me attitude and wouldn't give me the next available truck for same price as what I was reserving. Called customer service and district management had to help me after I drove around for a hour that morning to every other uhaul location for a truck, they all said they had one but yet no one really did. WHAT IS THE POINT IN A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THERE IS NOT ANY 8ft' TRUCKS THERE EVER. Why the hell is it so hard to rent a truck in our area. Been to ones out west full of 8' trucks. Got stuck with a 10ft box truck with a non removable 2in ball hitch and cost double in gas consumption. And that sad use of a manager at the paducah location on Irvin needs to have an attitude adjustment by her boss. I'm sure you deal with this daily cause you dont keep your promise of reservation at that store and become irrational when someone ask you to upgrade them for same cost. Its business 101. Will be renting my trucks from lowes and home depot for now on. Unlimited mileage and no attitude.jesse E.

The guy working there when I rented the truck was very rude and when I returned the truck the lady working was extremely rude. I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas, it had 1/8. When I returned the truck it had 1/2 tank and was told I would be credited for the extra gas. I WAS NOT.RICKEY M.

When I arrived at this location I went inside to drop off the car trailer. I got to deal with the manager, I don't remember his name, but he asked if he help. I told him that I was dropping off just the trailer as I needed to unload the van yet. He looked out the window and said he couldn't check in the trailer with my Jeep on it. I said that the lady at the pick up site told me that for a $20 charge I would get help unloading my Jeep. His response was we don't do that. So I went out and unloaded my Jeep myself and returned to the office. This time I got a nice lady who came out and checked in the trailer. After looking it over she said that I needed to bring the trailer to the back and back it into this tiny spot on the edge of the parking lot. When I said I wasn't very good at backing a trailer she informed me that because my stuff was in the van she couldn't drive it and the trailer couldn't stay up front. I informed her that I got the extra insurance coverage and I didn't understand why she or another employee couldn't back the trailer to where it needed to go. She then said that it didn't matter, as long as my stuff was in the van no employee could drive the van. So I drove the van into the tiny parking lot and backed the trailer where she told me to put it. I then left and unloaded my things. When I return to check the van in, two gentleman came out and checked it in, an apparently I exceeded the mileage by 35 miles and had to be charged $15 for the privilege. And when I asked if they would buy the bigger tire straps back, I was told that was not an option. I left there very confused on your company policies, did the lady in Michigan just go over the top to help and make me feel good about your company? Or was the way I was treated in Kentucky the standard for your business. The sad part is this was just the first part of my move and I'm going to need another big moving van when we close on our house and wife moves down, and I'm definitely not going to forget this experience.SCOTT MICHAEL C.
I literally will never use nor recommend Uhaul to anyone ever again. When I ordered the boxes for the move Uhaul recommended the wrong amount of boxes needed. They only contracted 2 movers and 3 UBoxes for a 2700 sq foot house. The entire time preparing for the move every person associated with Uhaul I spoke with gave me a different story. The 3rd party movers bashed Uhaul and said how big of a joke they were to deal with. Even YOUR OWN customer service employees I spoke said they weren't surprised that I got a different story from each person I talked toâ€¦. Then I moved in to my new house. Same story. Total joke of a company. Same thing. EVERY PERSON I spoke with told me something different. I was never told it was a 3 hour time limit on the move and after that I would have to pay overtime. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. If anyone ever asks for moving recommendations I will actively root against them choosing UHaul.Eric G.

The constant changing of pick up and rop off locations with limited to no notice make me hesitant to use U-Haul again. Changed my pick up location 10 minutes before my scheduled time and sent me to a place the had a 2 hour round trip to get back home. The self storage units are in disarray. There is spray foam insulation on the ceiling that is falling off everywhere. It looks disgusting and appears as if it could create a health hazard from the insulation dust particles it creates in its current state. It gives the appearance of an abandoned building after a fire with the insulation hanging and falling off the ceiling everywhere with no signs of it being swept off the floor. Had NUMEROUS problems with the accessibility of my unit when specifically being told at the time of rental that I would have 24/7 access. My paid unit remained double locked for "security reasons" in a well lit, properly locked unit with security surveillance although this policy was never explained to me nor was there any information in my contract that states that my belongings would not remain freelyaccesible ????? After making an extremely costly trip over four hours to find my belongings inaccessible I reported the issue to management, never receiving any response. When I planned to vacate I contacted the location to explain I would be traveling to the area with a rental truck and needed access I was assured that the second lock would be left on the unit "dummied" in the unlocked position until I vacated. After renting the truck and making the trip I again found that I had no access. After contacting after hours customer service I was informed that there was nothing that could be done until the following day, causing me to incur several hundred dollars worth of expenses including additional truck rental, hotel accommodations, gas and incidental expenses as we were not prepared to stay in the area. Both the customer service agent who took my complaint and the customer service representative who was working when I returned the following day assured me I would be contacted promptly by someone who could further investigate the matter. Two weeks later I have not received a call, email NOTHING. Absolutely atrocious customer service, immoral, illegal, and (to be frank) foolish business practices!! Kyle at the Irvin Cobb Paducah location needs a raise. He is an extremely hard worker and was always very pleasant and accommodating. He would have four or five customers in there at a time and he was fast and efficient. I've rented from other UHaul facilities and they were nasty and unprofessional.
