The safety chains that go around the frame of the car were ground down to the point they were unusable. They had to replace them to make the unit safe to haul a car. Also one ramp just falls out when you are loading and unloading the vehicle. Fortunately no damage to the vehicle I was hauling.

My only problem issue with the entire experience was the mileage overage I was charged. I did not drive the truck anywhere other than planned, yet was charged an overage. When I asked about it, no resolution was offered.

The recommendations for the size of the truck was way underestimated. I was clear that I had no appliances, no large couches, etc - and yet I did not have enough room to store a house with 2 bedrooms. Additionally, the movers were prompt, energetic, and extremely pleasant and courteous - however it's obvious they are not experts in moving. They packed a few items that could have been done a little better - and the result was some damage to my items. For example, I had three vintage/antique dressers - all three very light - wood. All three had castor wheels. One of the dressers had damage to a leg and the castor wheel broke off. Had they put the dressers in - upside down (off the castors - or had me to remove them (I did not know they should be removed but would have - if they asked me). I'm sure the leg would be fine. They also packed a very, very large screen TV - I asked them over and over to please be very careful with it - the glass extends out past the frame. I wanted them to pack it with another TV that was still in it's box - I wanted them to put both on heavy cushions. I had to put the cushions underneath the corner of the TV still broke. I was advised by the moving team at the receiving site - that the TV probably would have fared well - if they had put in on a couch - instead of directly on the hard floor (albeit with a foam piece for protection. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used teams recommended by UHAUL and I'm completely appalled at how unprofessional they are. This team was just great other than a lack of knowledge. But I've had other teams that were slow, lazy and really had stupid ideas for packing stuff - like placing a mattress so the large side of it - is buffered by the wind. You should be training these people and requiring tests.

Having used U-Haul on various occasions for nearly 50 years, this experience is the best I have had. Making reservations and checking in on-line were relatively easy. Then, having the equipment ready to drive off as soon as I made payment made the total time for transaction about 20 minutes when in the past it may have taken an hour.

Check fluids prior to customer departure. Vehicle radiator overheated for no antifreeze. Called haul to report problem no one answered phone. McCracken County Sheriff Department tried for eight minutes to reach someone with Uhaul no luck. No help from local uhaul, referred to Claims Office, will be contacting. Will not recommend Uhaul for future use.

Moving TO Paducah, we didn't get our u boxes until about three days after they should have arrived. Someone there dropped the ball and had our dates screwed up, then kept promising to have them at our address, then delayed them, then CANCELLED them. We were on the phone everyday until the came. We ended up not staying and several months later had a much better experience. Boxes arrived on time without any drama.

The cab of the truck was filthy: Dust, debris, crumbs, dead bugs, and sticky stuff was all over the place including the seats. It smelled of cigarette smoke. It look as though it had not been cleaned in years. We would have returned the truck the moment we saw this, but we needed this truck at the last minute for an emergency. We vacuumed and cleaned the inside so we could at least drive in it, but it was still pretty nasty to spend 12 hours in. We returned the truck in way cleaner condition than we picked it up in so at least the next family won't have to deal with as bad a mess.

The original location that we were to drop off (in Lone Oak was closed early and had everything locked... couldn't get a hold of anyone) so we dropped off at this location. They were SO helpful and kind. We will be using them again in the future. Thank you for making our moving process easier!

The uhaul manager was about the most unfriendly person I have ever met. The staff was ok but he wasn't and he wasn't willing to try and work with me on the storage issue that I had.

Have a better location at the paducah ky location too small and a congested area traffic is around a blind curve in both directions

The personnel would not help me carry the tv moving box to the truck . He pointed to the direction of the truck. So I had to figure out which truck it was . Once I got in the truck and made it home I then discovered that this truck had not been cleaned .. this truck was covered in dog hair and chips all in the truck . It was very disappointing considering the amount of money I had to spend on this rental .

I was charged for going over in miles but I tried to get the uhaul closer to me in Paducah. I would. It have gone over in miles. I think $100 was a lot for a one way one day trip

I rented the 4' X 9' motorcycle trailer with built in chock to take my Harley Street Glide to the shop. It worked out great!!! easily loaded and unloaded the bike, plenty of anchor points. No problems whatsoever... of course I want to ride the bike from the shop when I pick it up, but qualms about renting one like this again.

Had NUMEROUS problems with the accessibility of my unit when specifically being told at the time of rental that I would have 24/7 access. My paid unit remained double locked for "security reasons" in a well lit, properly locked unit with security surveillance although this policy was never explained to me nor was there any information in my contract that states that my belongings would not remain freelyaccesible ????? After making an extremely costly trip over four hours to find my belongings inaccessible I reported the issue to management, never receiving any response. When I planned to vacate I contacted the location to explain I would be traveling to the area with a rental truck and needed access I was assured that the second lock would be left on the unit "dummied" in the unlocked position until I vacated. After renting the truck and making the trip I again found that I had no access. After contacting after hours customer service I was informed that there was nothing that could be done until the following day, causing me to incur several hundred dollars worth of expenses including additional truck rental, hotel accommodations, gas and incidental expenses as we were not prepared to stay in the area. Both the customer service agent who took my complaint and the customer service representative who was working when I returned the following day assured me I would be contacted promptly by someone who could further investigate the matter. Two weeks later I have not received a call, email NOTHING. Absolutely atrocious customer service, immoral, illegal, and (to be frank) foolish business practices!! NEVER AGAIN will I deal with Uhaul outside of a courtroom!!

2170 Irvin Cobb Dr. was great! I did the online check In before arriving at 7 am and they got me set up with my trailer and I was in and out in 5 minutes! Highly recommend this location!

I brought vehicle back, one day early and was still charged for an extra day because I didn't bring it back within a certain time frame, which I was unaware of, I will never use U-Haul again, this is total BS, if I had brought it back, the next morning I could understand but the next day before the store even closes. No. I even payed for the gas gauge being 1/8 of a tank off of where I checked it out with with no problem. Sorry U-Haul, you lost my business.

The truck leaked from the roof causing water damage to some belongings. Truck was new I assume based off the mileage in the truck, it was under 5,000 miles. For the price of a little over 600 dollars I would expect at least dry belongings upon my arrival.

It took 20 min to talk to customer service at call center. agent at pick up said I could drop trailer at any Uhaul. Agent at call center said I would be charged $200. since I took it to the closest location instead of location on contract. I will dispute this charge with credit card co. I'm renting 2-26' trucks. They will be Penske.

Kyle at the Irvin Cobb Paducah location needs a raise. He is an extremely hard worker and was always very pleasant and accommodating. He would have four or five customers in there at a time and he was fast and efficient. I've rented from other UHaul facilities and they were nasty and unprofessional. Kyle was always very professional and polite and I would highly recommend this location to anyone !!
