Matt and his crew always do a fine job.

No real problems, but we had rented a dozen shipping blankets and the drop off location requested we fold up the blankets before we left. Not a big thing but I wasn't expecting to have to fold up all those blankets and felt that they were going to have to clean them up or something before preparing them for reuse again. I had rented blankets before from this location and I never had to fold them before.

I was to bring the trailer back clean I expected it to be clean when I got it, it wasn't. The wheel sounds like it was going to fall off.

This facility is reliably first-rate in service and availability of equipment.

This is the first time I have done business with U-Haul and consequently also the absolute last time. My company paid for the truck and trailer to move me for a new position and it is also the last time they will ever be going to U-Haul. Why you ask? Well let me tell you....the original quote was around a hundred dollars less than they charged when I picked it up. My contract said the tank was full when it was only 3/4. The truck was a gas driven, gas guzzling behemoth that I was terrified it would roll backwards on some of the hills I had to go up and when I say hill I mean mole hill really it was a pretty level trip i can't even imagine trying to go anywhere that actually had some elevation I reserved one of the so called 'free' storage rooms and the paperwork not only did not give an address for the storage room, but it did not give any information about the address of the place I was to turn the truck in at when I was finally able to actually find the address for the storage room it was in the next town over, I was to meet my wife there so took off from work a little early and followed the directions from the uhaul site I ended up on some dead end road in the middle of crack central and had to turn around by moving the truck back and forth an inch at a time My wife had forgot her phone so I heard nothing from her for about 3 hours and was seriously hoping she hadn't been car jacked (she was driving a mustang gt and it really was a bad neighborhood. one of those most likely to get robbed raped and car jacked not necessarily in that order prize winners). I was fervently hoping she had the dog with her and had my boss check the hotel room because I was honestly afraid something bad had happened to her. So anyway, I called the storage place, no answer, googled it, got sent to nowheresville and finally gave up and called customer service. He says there is a glitch in the system, but this other uhaul faacility has storage. So my boss finally finds my wife and we all go there, no dice, they don't have storage and insisted they could not help us to clear up the issue (truck was due the next day at 11) they refused to call their manager and when asked if they could please at least take the car dolly so we wouldn't have to drag that around they said they could not. So we call customer service. Now we started out fairly civil understanding that it was not their fault, until some moron ( third moron we spoke to) says he can't find the account, this after three other people could.. At the time the wife was speaking to him because I only have so much patience for b.s. So she asks if perhaps the confirmation number would help, moron number 3 says not likely and he would not speak to her about only me. After I lose my temper a little we get sent in a loop of no one answering the phone till I finally get a nice lady that I wish I could remember her name gave me the number for corporate. My boss actually was talking to customer service on his

Trailer (5x8 enclosed) was clean, but older and worn out (mangled fender, pull down strap mostly gone), had shorter tongue than other U-Haul trailers of same cargo size, and tie-down rails inside have gaps for ropes or hooks that make them almost useless (didn't have any clothesline or 20' lengths of shoelace handy, just ropes and straps, so had to use paperclip to poke portion of strap through hole, then tie off ends of straps instead of just using hooks). We got some fairly fragile furniture strapped down eventually, but didn't enjoy the extra time spent w/helpers waiting in the cold. No fault of local store - trailer just needs refurbishment or decommissioning.
