Marijuana was found in the car during pick up. I mentioned it to the lady that I got the keys from. She wasn't concerned and made me feel like I brought her outside for nothing. I wanted a note to be taken so when it was brought back I wouldn't be fined or anything. She got some kid to clean it and he got an attitude when he was cleaning it. was suppose to be able to pick up and check out omn Mobile. I couldnt then no gas in truck Milage almost 200 miles off. pickup was scheduled for 8am was there till 915 am still couldnt get issue fix. Told me to go ahead would get with manager and fix it. Have equipment ready upon arrival (waited over an hour), those behind me were going to have an even longer wait. Have more thanone person at counter to help at busy times, explain that rental even though is for a day, when asked casually when I would have it back, created a time line for return of 3 hours instead of a day. They check me in within 5 minutes of being at this location. I even pulled in the wrong way and got turned around. They were very helpful in getting me to where I needed to be. I explained my current situation with them about my reservation and the picking up of equipment at the dispatch location. They were very helpful there as well. Kept me calm and explained what should have happened. Still have to call Uhaul Corporate to get this straightened out. The truck should have actually been taken out of use a long time ago. It was extremely dangerous. The turn signal fell out, the side mirrors shook so much you couldn't use them, there was so much play in the road it was dangerous to drive on the interstate as we were blown all over with minimal control. Worst of all, the truck kept leaning significantly to the right. When we got to destination we discovered the sway bar was broken in half. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER....WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!!!Suzanne B.

Your app and website is terrible. I was stuck in an empty parking lot late at night alone trying to return this vehicle and neither the website or app worked properly for over 40 minutes trying over and over and I had to call the support line. All the workers at this location are very helpful and friendly I only had one issue I have rented U-Hauls before and this time I chose to rent a utility van. It looked clean but as I went about my day in moving my items I realize that the van had roaches and it I had to be in for 2 days. In every day I found are seeing more roaches coming out of besides panels. I reported this to the workers when I returned the van. I am hoping that this matter will be resolved. I'll do I know you guys tried to keep your costs down but renting a moving van can be very expensive and no one wants to have to buy braids to kill the roaches in the van.Deidra D.

I closed out my storage unit with 2 full weeks remaining & DID NOT receive a credit for the 2 weeks that I will not use!! Truck was already loaded and my movers found a nail in the tire. It should have been found and repaired before I rented truck. I was paying movers by the hour and didn't have time nor could I afford to swap out truck. Mgr gave me # to roadside assistance. This was very dangerous, tire could have blown and I would have wrecked. I should have been given a discount but DID NOT receive anything!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The only complaint I have is that my unit was a outside unit inside another unit. It was very dark to the point you couldn't even use the natural sunlight to see inside. I never used the unit, never even put a lock on it because of anxiety and fear of something happening to me and being closed up and never found. I came up in person to inform staff I was closing out of unit before the 17th. I wanted to make sure they didn't charged me on the 17th. Staff put in notes indicating my unit closing. The staff said I still had 5 days even after the 17th and not to worry. I signed off on the 17th and still got charged. No one assisted and the 800 number couldn't find any record. Storage and facilities were as expected. However, the additional charge for transport 1 day extension, return to wrong location, which was suppose to have same dislocation drop off as truck when I picked up. I don't feel i should have had to pay more than the one day extension. Note i couldn't even get both units on same day or place. Using my time, mileage of rented truck and having to pay the fuel used to pick up transport, and delaying my departure date. Ps I discussed with representative when I picked up transport i would be returning both units to the same address in panama, Fl. Both units were to be dislocation to panama. Your employee made the error and I shouldn't have to pay for that error. Also at drop point my car was still on the transport. As this is my only means of transport once transport and truck were returned. also note my reason for extension was fully because I was dealing with the flu and fevered. The initial person I dealt with was very nasty. My reservation was for a 10 x 15 space. The space wasn't available so they gave me a 10 x 10 which wasn't large enough. The lady argued with me when i said I should get equal space for free (1st month). I requested a manager and the general manager was in agreement with me and gave me an additional 5x10. The 5x10 is also in a different building. Although equal in total square footage it completely changed the way I could load the space so I had to rent an additional 5x10 at an exorbitant price. The shining star in the whole experience is a Gentleman named Wyatt who actually apologized for the way I was treated. I'm very displeased with the service I received from U-Haul and will never use them again. I found that to be so rude I was asking for the deal that y’all sent me cause I got a uhaul truck! Moved from Texas to Panama City Beach the Uhaul was horrible, the Tow Dolly even worse almost lost my vehicle twice the straps would not stay on the wheels until finally we bought chains a straps and locks to keep everything in place. Then when I found out that I had a month free storage I thought finally something good kmbo nope the CS Agent made me feel like I shouldn't be there got wrong size unit had truck half unloaded but unit was 2 small after the third attempt finally a right size. I fell while unloading due to unlevel ground and gravel, couldn't hardly park for unloading for the water. This trip cost over 1500.00 and not one once of Freaking kindness from Uhaul. First, I had a reservation and when I arrived my reserved unit was unavailable. They did have one available in climate controlled but wanted me to pay additional $ over my quoted price. The manager then offered me 2 smaller units to make up for one I reserved but when we got there one of the 2 smaller units was full. We went back and the manager found another unit for us. A couple days later I went back to get some items and U-haul put a padlock on the other unit. I had to get with the office to sort out the mess as I was getting 2 smaller units for the bigger unit I reserved. I guess no one followed up on the proper paperwork. Concerned how the billing is going to work out as I had a monthly quoted price for 1 bigger unit and they put.me in 2 smaller units. Manager assured me it will be correct. To be honest, everything has been a hassle from the trailer to the storage unit with U-haul. The manager did give me a 2nd lock for the other unit as I was planning on only having to buy 1 lock since I was only going to have 1 unit. The facility was clean, but the staff were VERY RUDE!! I was locked out of my unit, NOT DUE TO PAYMENT, but an oversight to the lock I bought. I NEVER received a call about the issue either. Then I was DOUBLE CHARGED this last month and again, NOT BECAUSE I OWED, I have ALL my bank statements, I can show that I was ON TIME, EVERY MONTH. I had never had a storage unit before and was so surprised at how clean and well kept these U-Haul Storage units were. They have a very good restroom which is large and clean with the paper toilet seat covers. I had one of the inside units and I felt my belongings were safe and I did not worry or feel like I needed to go by and check on it. I went to get a Uhaul in order to empty my storage unit. The doors to the climate controlled units were locked and the attendant had a difficult time getting them unlocked (no fault of him). When a customer comes in to check out, the employees shouldn't ask them to write their information down to be taken care of later. I was asked for my information, and was told it would be taken care of by closing that day. It was not. Me and my mother spent all weekend moving from Memphis. We took advantage of your self storage because it had after hours. My facility closed at 7 and we were there at 7:15. The code pad to enter the unit was "out of service" and it said to call a manager. When we called the number provided, it went to the call center. The woman in the call center called the number for the "manager" and it went straight to voicemail. This facility is very understaffed. My first time there was returning a 26' truck and vehicle trailer. I pulled into the wrong driveway, but there was no signage directing me to a different entrance. After I stopped because I couldn't go any further, I was scolded by the guy on the golf cart for going the wrong way and told "next time come in the other way" As if there was going to be a next time and I intentionally came in the wrong way after driving 850 miles. Call and in-person waiting times are very long. Climate control storage doors were often propped open, of course reducing the effectiveness of the climate control. After the free month, I moved my stuff out, because it cost me too much in time and related issues. BTW the A/C didn't work in the 26' I rented. The only problems that I had was gaining access to my unit because there were a few problems with the outer sliding door was sticking. Otherwise the staff was very helpful with any questions or concerns that I may have had.
