Stood in line for almost 2 hours just to pick up trailer. More than one person is needed at register.

Your employees need to be trained (and need some common sense). There was a line of 25 people and the desk guy was very slow. Some people had reservations but he never asked. He just took people one at a time and it took hours to get service. Some people had walked in to discuss items that could have been addressed if they called the 800 line. I had a reservation for 9 and got there at 9:04, but didn't get my truck until 10:15. Then he had the nerve to tell me to hurry up and return it even though i asked for 4 hours. You should train your people to ask if anyone has a reservation and serve them first.

This comment has to do with more of the booking process than the actual store itself. We were told that we were going to be getting a 26-foot truck, but when we went to pick up the truck it was a 20-foot truck. We also were told when I asked what time I wanted to pick it up, that I could have it at 9 am. When we got there the rep said that we were scheduled for 2 p.m. in the afternoon.always make sure you talk to somebody that knows what they're talking about otherwise you will be disappointed.please note also that when you call you are not calling the store directly. It is routed to an answering system get you in contact with customer service. I was not happy at all with their service

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. had to wait in line for an hour just to get up to the desk. I know with the hurricane it is hectic. had a reservation for 9:30 am just to be told that there were no trucks available. had one coming in at 3:00 and 5:00 pm. I already had my driver with me . finally they decided they could give me the truck that was reserved for someone at 12:00pm . I guess that reservation was more important than mine.

The manager was very short and not happy.He needs to smile.I know it can be stressful but I was nice .They also didnt have the 15 ft truck I had reseved and I stood in line for an hour.I had to take a smaller truck and make more trips.

I have never ordered any uhaul ever. I've been receiving these messages about some order, but I have never ordered anything from uhaul ever. Nor will I. You have been emailing the wrong person this whole time. I don' t know who is Robert from Florida, but I hope that his Uhaul experience was good. I live in California, I don't live in Florida. I haven't been to Florida in years. Please make sure you email the correct recipient next time. Thanks.

I had an appointment at 10am to pick up Cargo Van that is advertised at $19.95 for a day. I arrived at 9:44am. There was only one person working the front desk and the line was out the door. I finally got the Van at 11:04am and with all the hidden fees it cost me $45 more than twice the amount it is advertised for and I only got it for 3 hours because they rent them out for four hours at a time not for the whole day. My overall experience was regretful and I will not go back to Uhaul in the future.

When checking in the trucks actually check them before giving them to another customer, and don't presume the equipment is on board that should have been like the dolly! I specifically requested a dolly with my truck and when I got the truck to the house to load in the washer and dryer it wasn't there! So I had to load it by myself into the back of the truck. Not to mention the cab of said Uhaul stank to high heaven with the sent of urine. I've used uhaul many many times, this time I was not impressed or happy. And when I received the invoice for the completed reservation I WAS CHARGED FOR THE MISSING DOLLY!! when I called the store...they gave me a 1800 number and told me to take it up with them. Not okay...just terrible experience.

The check engine light came on went off then came back on & stayed on. The truck was not clean inside of the vehicle. It was ok but just scared the truck was going to break down but it didn't. When I returned the truck there was no where to park.

Absolutely ridiculous, rude and unorganized. I called in advance to let the store know I'd be arriving around 6pm. They said no problem, we are here until 7pm..I arrive at 6:10pm, I see 3 employees inside and the door has a sign saying that they close at 6pm. I called uhual and a gentleman told me that he was coming upfront to open the doors, after standing at the door an additional 20 minutes, no one came. I knocked and the people inside just looked at me. Come to find out, the store was operating on different hours that no one would know, unless they stood at the door to see the sign and my calls weren't to the store, I was getting a call center! I traveled 12 hrs from Texas to get there, and when I called uhual, all they could say was that they were sorry. I had a moving company scheduled to move my stuff the following morning at 7am. Not only was I not able to pick up my uhual reservation as booked a week in advance, I also had to reschedule the movers. A HUGE inconvenience.

Waited on line to turn in truck for over 30 minutes to get to the counter to be refused. I was told someone was in the back checking in trucks. No one was there so we had to drop the key in the drop. The lady at the counter should have checked in. When I got my receipt it read I checked in my truck 24 hrs later. That was not factual. If your front desk can check out trucks they should be able to check them in. I have had to use u-haul in about 10 yrs and would not reccomend to anyone at least not that location.

The manager was very rude to me, because he was unhappy with the fact that I made a reservation online, and after standing in line for over an hour, was 20 minutes early picking up my vehicle. I had no way of knowing how long it would take to get through the line, and I tried to explain that to him. He said there might have been people in line behind me who needed a truck before my reservation time. I asked him if there was someplace I could wait until 3 pm so I could retrieve my rental then, but he told me I'd just have to get back in line, which was twice as long as it had been before. He then agreed to rent me a truck that had not yet been cleaned out, as it had multiple items from a previous customer still in it, and then all of the paperwork he gave me was in Spanish. I do not now nor have I ever spoken Spanish. I am blonde-haired and blue-eyed of Irish descent. He turned away customers who had unused boxes to return, and was not renting out dollies and such, even though I had reserved one and there was a line of them against the wall. This meant I had the added expense of needed to purchase one at Lowes. When trying to return the vehicle, they had closed early for the day (typically closed at 3 pm) with a sign stating so on the door which means all of us who arrived even before their standard closing time were charged for an extra day's rental as well as insurance, your app was not working, and there was no answer when multiple customers (all standing in the parking lot trying to return vehicles by 3 pm) tried to call the 800#. I stayed on the line for over an hour and never spoke to anyone. When in the midst of a natural disaster, the last thing those of us who lost our homes needs is a grumpy manager who tells customers he just doesn't want to deal with any of it, turns customers away from standard business, refuses to rent out moving tools, and then closes early, resulting in extra charges for scores of customers who could not get through online or by phone.
