The customer service rep (wish I had gotten her name) was FANTASTIC. She was knowledgable, courteous and just wonderful. She knew how to hitch the trailer to our car. She was explaining the process to us and why certain things were done - she was not only training a new employee, she was training us. I cannot say enough about her. EXCELLENT!!Cory H.

I am highly unsatisfied with the automatic charge of 5 days for a one-way trip. I found it unnecessary and an extreme disregard for budgeting customers as it did not take me 5 days to get to my destination. I spoke with the main customer service and they could not assist me in getting the cost down or lower the amount of days to something less than 5. I do not see myself rant a uhaul truck ever again for relocation travel.RIQIA O.
The drop off location on the website was wrong. it was a Sunday. i could not drop it off at another location without being charge a $500 to my credit card. I was very inconvenienced. I had to get out of the house extra early Monday morning to take the truck back myself because the movers I hired on Sunday could not drop the truck off after the move. i then had to take an uber back to my house to pick up my car and go to work. I was charged an additional $19.00 for extra mileage. There was no discount for my inconvenience but they send out a survey. WOWRae W.

Why do you offer insurance and say "you won't be liable for anything that happens to the vehicle if you get this insurance.." but when it comes time to actually cover damages, you start naming exclusions to what the insurance covers. Then what is the point of getting insurance? This is a scam. I would not use again.TAIWO D.
I was charged for the insurance on the truck when I specifically told the young lady that I didnt want it. I returned the truck yesterday at and was given a call today saying that they didnt have it. My total was $26.87 and it's still has not been reversed out.VALERIE E.

Was told the hitch install would take 1 1/2 hours on the phone. Then told 2 hours when I got there., It took 6 hours AND they didn't give me the ball connection, which I paid for. I live an hour away and I could not stay on hold for long.Jason P.
We were help and educated by the staff at every turn. They really made the moving experience less stressful and more delightful. So much so that we actually looked forward to returning. Hope to do business with this location again soon. Also I'll add, I did business here many years back and I actually hated the people who worked there then. But since then, this location has definitely Changed people and that changed the customer experience for the better. I came There and rented a U-Haul first U-Haul was messed up so had to spend another 30 min getting me into another one the second was fine but they charged me for miles that i didn't Accumulate. They give u the mileage on a piece a paper then as i drove maybe two blocks i looked at the receipt it was like a 30 miles difference on the receipt then on the dash i told them immediately i called they said take a picture which i did called the next day tried to handling it the same day they said the manager wasn't there and they still charged me for the miles i accumulated and SOMEONE else's miles but why do i pay for someone else miles plus mines and then when i returned the rental truck that day the employee told me why i ain't change the miles never knew i had to do any of that never was told to do any of that contacted them again the owner was suppose to contact me and never did and they charged my credit card for my miles and im charged for some else 30 miles.makes no sense and I'm still waiting on someone to call me and never didSHUNTA S.

The uhaul truck drove rough. It needed a wheel alignment and it was driving like it wanted to cut off. I called Saturday for road side assistance but I was on hold for so long I just hung up. If I'm calling for assistance I must had a problem to why would I be put on hold for so long. I was driving from Illinois to Arizona so that's a far ride driving in a uhaul that drove so bad. Check the amount of gas, before leaving the facility. I drove 7 miles round trip and had to pay $18 for gas. Which was 1/2 of the $36 the Manager said I owe. NEVER AGAIN!!!!TAWANNA B.

The folks at the facility were fine. My displeasure is with corporate. My debit card was compromised and thus my automatic payment was declined and before I knew what had happened I was already fined and my back up person was contacted. No one bothered to see what the issue was, and it was my first occurrence . I have a high credit rating and rarely miss a payment on anything. Get your stuff together U-Haul. Bad truck with check engine light that popped on during a long trip between states. Didn’t get the truck I originally reserved an entire MONTH in advance. The storage unit I requested a month in advance wasn’t available either. There is a pandemic and THEY DIDNT CLEAN THE TRUCK AFTER THE PERSON BEFORE ME. The previous customer pulled up and they told me that this was my truck. Worst experience ever. Who cares about convenient hours. I was happy with U- Haul staff however during the corona epidemic I could not enter the building without wearing a mask lights is completely understandable but when I got in the building nobody else had a mask on none of the staff had mask on so why not understanding what the situation is also outside the building people were parking everywhere walking everywhere and your staff outside the building there were tools all over the ground air hoses everywhere I've tripped massive x almost fell and nobody said or did anything about it and I know there's a lot of people in this world these days if they get hurt on your property they will sue you I would recommend U-Haul to a friend however when I clean my unit out there was rat feces everywhere I was told I have to sweep that out that's not what I was storing that's not my garbage I didn't bring them there I know I didn't and I even put repellent and stuff down before I move my stuff in so I'm not understanding what I'm supposed to do I have to clean everything but I put in there again everything and that's costing me money and time so I paid to store my stuff there and then when I get it to where I'm moving to I have to open everything outside shake it and then clean it and make sure I'm not bringing any mice or rats or bugs home thank you very much I appreciate U-Haul staff was very nice to me they talk to me with respect and manners and they were very nice thank youDavid H. | Overall Experience
