However, your moving company that U-Haul referred me to were horrible need to not use them, because I sure not will not. We had to help them move. They broke things. We complain to the supervisor of that crew, he said OK he’ll handle it and once the truck got loaded, he called them and told his workers to leave so they left 60-year-old customers to unload their own truck. Michelle WThe front tires were almost bald and at a speed between 45-50MPH there was a very noticeable shake to the front end of the truck and a pull to the right.Truck needs to have a front end alignment and tires replaced.Transmission is also at its end of life and jumps a gear ratio going down hills even while not very heavy loaded. Kind of scary when coming to a light and truck jumps forward and gains speed while braking. All this was told to the person working the desk when we dropped off the truck after only using it for 24 miles.

The service is quick and efficient and the rental cost (truck rental, mileage charge, insurance, pick-up and return time, etc.) is explained to you before you leave the office. Great Service.
tomika cMy reservation had to be pushed back and changed to a new location due to the first location no longer having the truck I needed. I was ok with that, it wasn’t a big deal to me. Then when we picked up the truck they didn’t have the dolly I requested, I was understanding about that as well, I just accepted a different one. Then I was told that if I won’t make it back before close that was no problem, I can drop it off after hours, just call before closing to give them a heads up. I called 30 minutes before close, I was hung up on multiple times but finally got through to someone and I told the him we would only need it until about 6pm (an hour after close.) He proceeded to tell me that it was going to be a $69 extension fee. Of course I was upset as I was previously told it was no problem to have it returned after hours. So he put the $69 on my card and transferred me to customer service. She tried to help me the best she could but since the reservation wasn’t closed out yet she couldn’t see any of the charges, she told me to call back once it was returned. We returned the truck that night at 6pm like we said with gas in the tank. The man on the phone told me all we had to do was put the keys in the lock box so we did that, I wasn’t aware that there was an online form to complete when we got there, so in their system it stayed open until I got a hold of someone the next day. That evening I looked at the confirmation text from when he added the extension fee and noticed that he put that we wouldn’t be returning the truck until 6pm the next day, which is not what I said at all. I called customer service first thing in the morning, like I said on her end it was still open. She got in contact with the store, the person there told her that he was the only one working with a line of people but once he gets a chance he’ll close out my reservation. I asked if the $69 fee would be removed. She said she put a note in and that he should cancel it. Finally a few hours later I got a receipt, I did not see the $69 on it so I assumed it was canceled. However I put down an $85 deposit for the truck, the total ended up being $89. They added the additional $89 instead of just finalizing the $85 and adding $4. I know the $85 was still just a hold and it would be canceled but now at this point I have about $245 in charges pending in my bank account, which is a lot to just have floating around, unsure if I can use it or not. I tried to call the store that evening around 4pm to verify that everything but the $89 would be canceled, the phone rang, was picked up and then I was hung up on. I called back about 4 times with the same result each time, so I just stopped. As of right now, the next morning, the $69 charge is still pending as well as an $86 charge. The other $80ish charge is gone.

Eleanor MI had a very bad experience with this location. The rental did not run properly. I had to pay to have it towed to my destination the 1st day. The second day it wouldn’t start after the mechanic put a new battery in it. And I had to pay several people for a jump. I took off work to get the stuff moved , so I missed out on work pay. Paid my movers for nothing. Not a happy camper.
