Wanted to rent truck in 2 days and the guy said we had to pay for 4 days Friday-Monday. Think that’s a little ridiculous! Could’ve saved money!

It's not this location's fault, but it was the 3rd location to which I had to travel just to pick up the truck I had reserved 10 days prior. My original pick-up location was changed by UHaul, only to find out I couldn't pick up there, got sent to a second location and they had no one-way trucks available. 3rd location had a truck but no appliance dollies; had to settle for small dolly and a small roller. No blankets for rent, had to buy them. Process cost me several hours to rectify, very disappointing.

This was not the location I chose to pick up from and so I had to drive 45 minutes out of the way because U-Haul “can’t guarantee pickup location” even though I made a reservation at a specific location for a reason! Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, but corporate can suck it.

I’d like to talk to a representative about how poor this trailer was. They let us leave with no running lights. It was all beat up. One tire had 80psi another had a slow leak and ended up blowing on the side of the highway. The drop off location was closed when it said it was open and had dogs in the yard that did not seem friendly so I could t just leave the trailer. I’d like some money back this is absolutely not okay.

When the rubber floor mat was cleaned, it left a strong odor which permeated everything I put onto it while hauling my furniture. I suggest a different cleaner be used in the future. It also smelled like "dog" odors, and there were a couple of different types of dog hair on the mat. The previous renter should have cleaned the mat better. Other than that, the vehicle seemed to be well maintained.

The employees were great, especially Rebecca who had the trailer re-cleaned and hooked me up. She was very courteous and offered a discount because of the dirty trailer. I give them an average because when I dropped off my equipment a day early, they checked in the truck but not the trailer until 2 days later and I got charged an extra day. The employee there was helpful in fixing the issue but we should have never had to deal with it.

The truck was left with garbage that had cigarette and Marijuana paraphernalia in it that made it smell after sitting in the hot sun. Was not a pleasant thing to deal with after loading and traveling the 12 hour journey to my destination. Staff was nice though.

26' truck was so poorly maintained that it was miserable to drive. Tires out balance, badly in need of a wheel alignment and suspension that was completely shot on a truck with only 52000 miles. 1300 miserable miles.

I didn't like that there was a hand truck and moving blankets in the truck and couldn't be removed without being charged for it. We could have used that space so ultimately the truck is smaller than advertised because that part is unusable. Also they are held in place with a very thin tie and if you bump it comes loose so then you have to pay for it.

They went above and beyond to help a family who had to move across the state and seen to unforeseen weather conditions, helped make the stress from moving from Reno to Florida pulling two trailers… so great! I felt so cared for and understood by them. Felt safe and taken care of. Then the special to buy one months rent get one free cause we rented .. was a god sent. We were able to recover from a driving in 108 temps, cars over heating- a trip that took a week instead of the four days- recovery a blessing. I was crying on the phone to have been offered this- just thank you for treating us like a family instead of just costumers. I’ll tell everyone who ever needs storage where to go EVERYTIME!!! Thank you so much!! Oh and for finding us trailers during Burning Man, was going above and beyond!!! We thank you!!

Unable to reach anybody that can handle a situation. I had to make 6 trips to the office for a matter that was not resolved, you can check cameras. I moved out of the storage unit 07/16 the office was notified in person, I was still receiving emails about late fees and had a balance even though I paid in full. Eventually the balance was deleted. Records was not kept well or updated. My stuff have mold or/and mildew, I have pictures, but after the headache and time lost, I just wanted to be done with uhaul. The manager bad talk an employee basically saying the person was new and incompetent, which is not a leader move nor professional. The manager lied and my face and when question about he said “well?? I don’t know”.

I got a code for “gate or building access” but there was neither a building to enter nor a gate (outdoor unit). I open the unit and an alarm starts going off. I tried finding someone to ask about it, and a guy (moving u-boxes with a forklift) that was there said that there was an arm/disarm panel at an adjacent building. I enter the code and get “access denied”. I go back and ask the guy about it, and he said that the location was changed to an un-manned location and that I needed to drive to a different location for customer service. I elected to instead call that location versus driving my loaded truck down the road. Several calls, no one ever picked up, waited on hold with uhaul for longer than the estimated wait time, pressed the intercom button on the keypad that said it was monitored at all times, but got no response. I finally decided to just drive down there. The guy I spoke to at the main location confirmed my code was good, but said the system has been screwed up and to just ignore the alarm when it goes off. He also programmed a swipe card for the unit in case that worked; it didn’t. The gentleman was very polite and knowledgeable and explained that through the cameras they would disregard the erroneous alarms from the broken system. The alarm going off is a minor inconvenience, but my biggest issue was the lack of warning initially, not knowing what to do, and the inability to get in touch with anyone on the phone or the intercom—in retrospect I wish I’d redeemed my month of storage at a different location.

My pick up location was changed which delayed my pick up an entire week after the gauaranteed date. I made a reservation for pick up so it would be ready but it wasn’t so I had to wait over an hour.

Impossible to get someone on the phone; when they finally answer they transfer you to the uhaul main number. The driver never arrived on time after repeated efforts to have my u- boxes delivered.

My UBox arrived on 6-11, but I was not called until 6-29. I was back in town 7-1. On 7-2 it rained. On 7-3 the mover never showed. On 7-4 the new mover was denied access. On 7-5 I got my UBox.
