My wife and I have used U-box in the past. All three times we were well informed of the goings on of our shipments. We move from Connecticut to Florida and each time had a great experience. Price very reasonable. Service above average. In my opinion U-haul does a great job. Thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to rent at Pinnacle Rock! This past year I never experienced a problem except for the second month I signed up for auto pay and it wasn’t done properly causing my unit to be tagged and locked out. I had to call the main office and speak to someone more experienced who knew how to set it up. The facility was always clean and the indoor drive in ability was great especially in bad weather. People were always friendly and helpful! I’ll certainly recommend UHaul at PinnacleRock!

I WAS TO EMPTY MY STORAGE UNIT. I WAS THERE AND HAD HELP THAT I PAID TO ASSIST ME. THE STAFF DID NOT HAVE "KEY" TO UNLOCK THE UNIT. I WAITED OVER 1 HOUR. I was massively overcharged. I had the trailer for 3 days ---I was charged $347 for the trailer, $50 for a wire and $52 for wire installation. When I got to my destination I found out that the rental would have been $14.95 = $45, the wire would have been free and the installation about $50. I paid $449 for what should have been approximately $100, how I was ripped off. I will recommend to all my friends, neighbors and family NOT to use U-haul for any reason.

Have a couple more people @ the desk when arriving. There was only one person and then he would have to leave the desk to go out to the lot.

I used the 24/7 option and checked in and out on my phone. This is what was recommended when I was reserving the vehicle. But, when I picked up my vehicle I couldn't find the truck, so had to go inside to get info on where it was. Same thing happened when I was checking out. An associate came out and said that I needed to be checked out even though I had already done so on the phone. Some miscommunication exists between the actual store and the website.

Driver seat would not move, was stuck pretty far back so had to sit on the edge of the seat. Also the window knob kept falling off so could not open & close the window. Also refilled the gas to ABOVE the level started with.

The time I rented everything was fine until there was a rodent problem. Had mice feces in tool box drawers and every flat surface I had down to the floor. Spoke with site manager, took forever just to put bait stations outside. I'm still cleaning drops of feces in my tool boxes.

Employees that assisted me with equipment return didn't wear masks. This is very dangerous with CT COVID rates. The van was pretty dirty and I was contacted the night before with a notice that the location of my van was changed.

There was a problem with the steering wheel which the attendant said she was aware of, however it would have been good to make the driver aware of the problem. It could be the cause of a serious accident for an inexperienced driver.

After calling for one week straight I wasn’t able to speak with someone so I drove there one day prior to my storage rental, they said they had no internet so couldn’t help me, went back the day of getting my storage that I had reserved only to find out they didn’t have the one I rented and need it. I cancelled my rental and left after the lady said there was nothing she can do. Very very poor costumer service and non helpful employees. It’s really a shame

Moody bitch lady was there when I picked up and when I returned the trailer. Took forever (over a half hour) to be waited on. Moody lady with long hair sat in her office and did nothing to help the one person waiting on people in the line to rent equipment. She was in the same grouchy mood when I returned the trailer the next day.

Horrible customer service- actually, that is being nice. To say it was horrible would imply there was SOME customer service to be had. U-Haul bottom line does not care about their customers. Charges are random, no explanation. And we had severe mechanical issues which compromised the safety of the vehicle and that of everyone else on the road along with it... yet what does U-Haul do? They rent it out immediately (even tho I returned it one day earlier than my reservation) and told me to my face they were “not worried” about the mechanical issues which I reported. Good luck if you rent a U-Haul - you very well may need it.

The truck was labeled as “gentle ride” and it was anything but. There was no steering and if you started to ease on the brakes the engine revved. The vehicle couldn't accelerate over 40 MPH.

Wendy did all of our deliveries and pickups. She was so helpful with giving us important tips on the U-Box as well helping us with placement. While moving can be incredibly stressful, Uhaul made it easy for us to order another UBox in a pinch!! We're so grateful for everything! No problems at all!

Communicate better as a staff. I waited 20 minutes for someone to put air into a tire. The person working was looking for a valve to use the air pump. Finally, someone else came out and told him that part had been stolen and I was switched to a different vehicle. Total waste of time

Good rental equipment. Unfortunately they added a $25 charge for cleaning without ever mentioning it to me. Never saw the charge until I got home so was unable to discuss why the fee was added. Should have been mentioned at the drop off that they considered the vehicle required a cleaning.

Customer service ..i deliver the truck parked at the return lane and nobody mark the truck has deliver got overcharged for the truck not being mark as return and they didn't do nothing to resolve this issue i got charged 56 for renting the truck and another charge of 39.29 for late return when i only use the truck for one and half hour

I was rerouted to this location because the truck I was to pickup was dropped off at this location. I was given the keys to the wrong vehicle twice and they could not locate the keys to the first vehicle in line. I had to ask for the keys to the last truck in line. This whole process took at least 30 minutes on top of the extra time it took me to get to this new site. Very frustrating and U-Haul did not offer any discount for the inconvenience.

Uhaul workers outside the store should be wearing masks, just like the indoor workers who were. They are in the vehicles and with the paperwork, key exchange, etc. are often less than 6 feet from customers.

One thing I notice about this location from the others is they don't walk you to the truck they tell u where it and make you find it. Mine you the place is big. They make you put the dolly in the truck and when you return it they make you lift the door. I'm not sure if it due to COVID but they could have at least put the equipment in the truck. Overall the truck was clean and the gas was on full.

Great lady, she helped by made constructive judgement, allowed return trailer to be dropped off in different spot so that customer do not need to wait 30minutes -1.0 hour for unnecessary waiting for normal spot. Since, there were at least 7 trucks blocked the normal trailers drop off assigned location. Great for her to thinking outside the box. Yet, a man that works outside the building was reluctant to comply.

The people in Plainville were great. No complaints. But my experience with UHaul the company was abhorrent. Twice I was charged a late fee because my credit card was declined - 3 days after the automatic charge date. Was I contacted to resolve the problem? No, I was just slapped with a late charge. My credit card, btw, was lost the first time and hacked the second. And I also reserved a truck about 6 months ago to help my son move his apartment. When I showed up at 8am Sat to pick it up, I was told the computers have been down for a day and he couldn't rent me a truck until they came back up. I had a 6 hour window to use the freight elevators to move my son, and now, no truck. They also told me they would call me the minute the computers came back up - they never called me. Uhaul's customer service just plain sucks.

The reason that I answered "No" to number 5 is because the facility had a fairly substantial roof leak that affected our unit and contents. While the staff did get a new unit for us nearby, we had to move all the contents ourselves, which kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, the facility was generally clean, and the staff was normally helpful.

6/5/20 Need a hitch install on a Subarue? Not yet installed no call back no e-mail no text I had an appointment set up for 6/9/20 no on call me to tell me the hitch was not received. I wasted time a trip there and a ride to work not happy with that. I rented a storage but I can’t take anything there because of no hitch please help!!!!!!!!

Overall experience was excellent. There was a couple of times they appeared to be under staffed, especially at peak times. Paul the manager was great to deal with and always had answered my questions.

The place is nice. Customer service was peculiar and invasive. I wasn't allowed to view inside the unit. He claimed the alarm would go off. He kept pressing for alt phone numbers I didn't have.

Indoor facility seems pretty secure. Outdoor area has a gap in its fenced in area. Staff friendly and helpful for the most part. Manager fell short on a couple different occasions not following up.
