First U-haul truck had a flat tire when we went out to take it but they gave us a different u-haul truck. Was a little confusing the way they added two charges but then took one off. Then we had to extend for 7 more days and they were very helpful. The second charge was taken off our bank account and when we went in to return truck the final payment was charged to account. The U-Haul place was very clean and neat and the customer support was very polite pleasant nice professional and helpful. I would definitely use them again and tell my friends and family to use them as well.

1. Uhaul app is unusable (for andriod) 2. No desk staff, all staff were huddled around a screen in the back room, had to wait for someone to get to a desk, like it was an inconvenience 3. When asked where the rental was, didn't give any directions where to find truck, walked around 3/4 parking lot in 20 degree cold looking for truck 4. When bringing rental back, no one to greet at return lane waited 10 minutes, and burned additional gas that I put into the rental, was charged for the idle time of the rental 5. Worst uhaul experience so far, won't be using Uhaul again for next move.

Be sure to check-in when you drop off a vehicle that was rented. They allow you to leave it with out a final check-in, but that gives U-haul the ability to charge what ever they want because you waive your right. 7 miles over the trip I was charged an additional $65.00. U-haul should not be trusted to do final inspection without you being present. Protect yourself customers and be smart.

I was charged multiple times the WRONG price and then found out it was the assistant manager who kept messing up my original order. I was there for OVER an hour and then upon return the amount charged was SUPPOSED to be corrected and refunded and I was supposed to get a call back telling me how much would be refunded and never did. All in all a VERY frustrating experience

When I arrived my chosen vehicle on the app was not in the lot. After searching I went inside and asked for help to be told the 9 ft van was outside and to look to the left. I went back outside and still could not find the vehicle. Returning to the desk I asked again for help and was told to go look again with the employee. We searched outside and the vehicle was not there. I will say they were accommodating and let me take a larger vehicle for the same time frame but it ended up costing me more. Originally I was told online 11.00 for coverage then 14.00 at the store but it was 38.00 on my bill. All because the store overbooked their available vehicles. The truck we got was also very hard to drive it seems the alternator may need repair. Upon returning as well I used the app to return the truck and was told (I believe by an employee) I shouldn't do that and to bring it back to the long line of returning vehicles because the employees would mark the truck as being returned days late when they got around to it. I wanted to use the app to avoid contact on a busy Saturday and was only using uhaul because my grandmother had to move to hospice. Overall this was so disappointing.

Returned after close. Garbage can was full so we left a coke bottle and a sandwich wrapper on seat. Charged $25 cleaning fee and $20 for after hours return. Way out of line and now lost my business going forward.

I had requested contactless pick up that was not available when I arrived. I let The staff know that inwas in a hurry and they were more interested in their coffee flavor then getting me out of there. I found The staff to be rude and unfriendly. The truck itself was absolutely filthy. There were crumbs and French fries on the floor and seat and it smelled awful. My Co worker and I spent a solid 30 minutes with hospital grade disinfectant and gloves cleaning the front of the Uhaul before we could drive it. The wipes/paper towels were brown. It was absolutely disgusting. I was unable to get my seat belt to click on the drivers side which was perhaps the most disturbing issue of all. Even after bringing all of this to the locations attention, I was still charged the full price and then some. I cleaned Their vehicle, I illegally drove a vehicle that had a broken seat belt and I returned with 1/2 a tank of gas, not the 1/4 that was required. This was all such poor customer service. Our Doctors office will not be using this location again.

Helpful if uhaul was able to track pods in real time. It was not a pleasant experience when the pods did not arrive on time and staff could not provide their location nor reason for the delay in delivery.

Not a great experience this time. I took the truck with a quarter tank of gas. When I returned it they charged me a fuel feel and claimed that it was returned with less than a quarter. Obviously I only found out when I received the receipt by email later in the day. Customer service not helpful either even though I had a picture of the gauge when I returned the truck. Very disappointed

Sadly I don't think I will ever use uhaul again. When I called customer service I waited on hold for 15 minutes before I was given the option to get a call back. When said call back came 2 hours later I was on hold for 35 minutes before a person came on the line. She was of absolutely no help. Uhaul has some very shady practices and I am truly disappointed in the company

The back of the truck was not cleaned. The head lights are very dim, I drove with them on high and still had trouble seeing . The steering has a little play. Drove 460 miles the truck did the job.

Location counter help was disorganized. The previous shift operator was 40 minutes late in being relieved. The oncoming shift operators were indifferent to the needs and time constraints of the customers. The truck we ended up receiving smelled of tobacco smoke and we found desiccated chewing tobacco in the passenger door handle relief. The glass on the vehicle was very dirty. The truck was new in that it only had two thousand miles on the odometer. These are expensive pieces of equipment, I am surprised franchisee's do not take better care of the equipment.

I would recommend to others but Sunday the 25 while I was renting the u-haul it took 3/4 of time to sign out bc the women was not sure of what to do then when I returned the same way not efficient at all

Sent out with a engine code P015D which effects the fuel economy directly and bad tire sensor. Even if I had a tire issue i wouldn't have been able to tell. Leaks inside the storage area which defeated the point of renting a book truck. Once I spent 56.61 in fuel plus an outrageous 284.00 rent it cost me 330.00 for a terrible rental and experience and I will never ever be back. All the management said was I'll have it looked at which should've been done previously.

When we received the final voucher printout we found that we were charged TWICE for the equipment rental, $20 instead of $10. When we called for the rental we were told that the amount quoited was the amount we paid BUT, the final amount was far more than quoted....we don't have any dispute with cost except equip rental, but it would have been nicer to know in advance....a $20 dollar truck rental should NOT be over $100.00

Make sure you have the equipment ready and clean. And also to make sure you have enough oil in the engine. Had to return the vehicle back so that they can fill the engine with oil. . So I lost time of my own because of there negligence .

To make sure they have what you reserve . I reserved an 15” moving trunk when i went to pick it up they only had 10”, they did called the person who was late. Because of that i had to pay more for miles because i had to do two trips. Overall everything was great.

Most of the customer service reps were friendly, but the first truck I was given didn't start, the second truck they gave me had an issue with the key in the ignition and would sometimes take four or five times to start it. The girl that was working was friendly but was very busy and told me to leave the key when I returned it. I checked my email receipt and not only did I not get a discount for my inconvenience, but they charged me $10 for gas. I took a picture of the gas and mileage when I returned it and the gas gauge was exactly where it was when I took the truck. I'm not one to complain, but this is not right and definitely not an act of good customer service, in addition to the issues with the vehicles.

Zero follow up. Zero stars. Auto sign up and billing for rental box after returned. Called cust service twice and not able to help. I spent 4000 shipping a box across the country ony to have a new monthly box rental after it was returned within the initial 28 days. Will make complaints on social media and with the BBB. I agreed with the store to have the truck back by 6pm on 10/14/21 and that there would be no charge. The truck was back at 555pm and I was charged 42.54. I called uhaul and now I have to wait 3 -5 business days for the refund. This is a financial inconvenience. We spent almost 2000.00 to move and are low on funds. We need every penny right about now so no, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF INTEGRITY!

Remove or reduce the absurdly high Vehicle Coat Recovery fee on utility trailers. It is applied only at checkout, never mentioned earlier. It is misrepresented by the location's staff, whom I believe are lied to by either the site manager or, worse by u-haul corporate. It is a scam to contend that a single-axle open trailer costs anywhere close to $2x365days = $730/year for doc and reg fees: the only legal justification for VCR charges sanctioned by state statute. https://www.cga.ct.gov/current/pub/chap_228h.htm Without action by uhaul, a class action law suit is in order.

In July I rented RV Space 175, which was a 12 x 42 ft. RV space. Shortly there after I was transferred to Florida and had to check out of that space. After arriving in Florida my company canceled the relocation due to COVID and I quickly realized that I needed to contact the U-Haul location and reserve a space. I called and asked to speak with Tim or Mike so that I could explain my situation, but was told that the representative would send Tim an email with my contact number and proceeded to create a reservation for a 42 ft spot. My reservation number was 924074-00106151 and when my wife arrived yesterday the person at the counter said that my reservation could not be found, and there were no 42ft spaces available. My wife then was told that 37 ft space or there was nothing that they could help her with. My wife paid the fee and was told that there were zero gate fobs. I am beside myself as I have ALWAYS BEEN A GOOD CUSTOMER and I have no idea what went wrong. Thank you.

The staff is very nice. Scheduling and reservations not so much. Had 2 reservations and no storage available. Apparent overbooking. Today I stopped by and was able to get a room. After the first room was rented it was unavailable and occupied by someone else. Went back and they found another room next to it. Reservations need improvement.

I had a reservation for a drive up storage unit and when I arrived with my truck I was told that all reservations had been cancelled. No one contacted me to tell me that. The manager did get me an inside unit and offered me a good deal on the first month.

I have used UHaul before for RV storage. I have made my reservation in advance and my spot was held for me. Imagine my surprise when I walk in, on the day I am suppose to drop off my RV to find that I to be told that my reservation has been cancelled (turns out they only cancelled inside storage ones) but that my spot had not been held. This meant I needed to pick a new spot. This is a challenge for a mom who now has to back in an RV with her 3 children guiding her. Looking at and selecting a spot took 45 minutes, while actually getting in the spot took another 45 minutes. (This is in addition to my original stop to meet with the manager to select a spot when I made my first reservation.) If you are not going to maintain site selection, please notify customers of that in advance. In the past I used to make my reservations months in advance and my site would be held. This time it was not. Please do people the courtesy of informing them in advance if that is going to be the case.

6/5/20 Need a hitch install on a Subarue? Not yet installed no call back no e-mail no text I had an appointment set up for 6/9/20 no on call me to tell me the hitch was not received. The place is nice. Customer service was peculiar and invasive. I wasn't allowed to view inside the unit. He claimed the alarm would go off. He kept pressing for alt phone numbers I didn't have.
