The U-Haul location had to install a passenger-side mirror on the truck, but was unaware of the need for repair until I was picking up the truck. The man did a great job rigging something to work for me, but I'm sure he would have appreciated knowing about the problem ahead of time, like when the truck was delivered to his location over the weekend.ALEXANDER G.
Tried to give me truck with less than 1/8 tank fuel vs full. Makes it hard to return truck without more fuel in it than you got it. Overall truck was in good condition and cleaned well in the cab and bed. The only notes I have otherwise: Inside of windshield was a bit dusty and made it hard to see at times. I have an issue with your fuel tank policy! When I picked up the vehicle it had less than a 1/4 tank of fuel and needed to stop to refuel within 10 miles. This is unacceptable!!! Since I had to refuel I returned it with more fuel than what was provided to me and should be compensated for this. Your policy should be return the vehicle with a full tank or pay to fill it. The bottom line is that Uhaul should have a policy in place to never allow a vehicle to leave with less than a certain amount of fuel. Also, when I picked up the vehicle it had empty boxes in the back of the vehicle. When I dropped it off at another Uhaul site they complained to me about the empty boxes in the back and I told them that they were there when I picked it up.Erich G.
I tried 6 times to use the U-Haul app to return the van but the app did not work. It required a photo of the odometer reading, which I did over and over and tapped continue, but the same screen came back every time - asking me to upload a photo. It would not let me continue and complete my return. Now I've been charged a big fee. This is not fair! The service at this location is always excellent, but this app return is terrible!Frederick M.

Not that this is the fault of the location just a few things to point out. The windshield wipes are orable, it was raining on the highway and i could barely see. I'm sure that it is impossible to manage the entire fleet of trucks, but if you could put something on the windshield to repel the the water, you might have longer-lasting wipers. Lastly, the lighters didn't work, so i was unable to charge my phone.TED T.

They said the vehicle we rent was smoke free. However, the car was full of smoking smell. I returned on same day due to smell. Do something about it. When I said to employee that the the the smell of car was full of cigarettes, I got unprofessional response. Staff are super friendly and helpful. However, I found out a low air pressure signal for the right front tire. Staff promptly inflated the tire. After driving to Chicago, the pressure signal showed up again. There is a slow leak. Fortunately it lasted the 500 miles and didn't cause a major inconvenience.KEJIAN N.

There just needs to be more clearly marked areas for parking. There's a sign for customer parking with an arrow but it points to the equipment return tented spot. I know that's nit-picky but parking gives me anxiety and that would help. Otherwise all the staff was kind courteous and helpful. After I was falsely reserved a unit at a different facility online, I was told this facility was the only one available after I showed up to the originally reserved unit with a full truckload to store… This unit is a good distance away from my intended unit, making it inconvenient to use as needed and desired. Plus, I still had to pay for the extra miles that were put on the uhaul truck rental… which, looked, smelled, and felt like it was not cleaned or sanitized for a couple of years (should not be the case during a pandemic…). This all happened after I was sent to the wrong facility to pick up supplies. Luckily that location had what I requested, but I purchased and opened a lock that was not needed, because the unit I was eventually sent to had free locks… Overall, I will try my best to not use or recommend uhaul moving forward.Nathan P. | Online Move In

I'll still recommend U-Haul but your service is awful, I'm simply giving this feedback because I am a Data Analyst somewhere and send surveys out a lot, I hope your data analyst will appreciate this: 1. On the last day of moving out, one of the guys on shift was very rude, he's a bit oldish. Talk to him 2. On another day, a Saturday, your staff was also rude because of parking at this facility. 3. Your main office sent a letter to my brother in Canada about my storage facility...you could have reached me via phone or email, I was paying you on time, why did you have to contact the secondary person on my papers as if I was running away from you?
