Efrain C.The key drop was located on the opposite side of where the truck was returned, there should be signage on both sides of the location indicating where the key drop is. The entrance and exit of the truck return parking lot made it so the truck was very difficult to get the 26' truck into a parking spot, the entrance and exit should be swapped so that trucks can pull in without difficulty.

JOHN C. | Overall ExperienceThe person who delivered my Ubox was very friendly and helpful, and the drop-off and pick-up went relatively smoothly. My issues with this experience started with the loading of my Ubox in Pittsburgh. I had completed loading my UBox and I went to the lady at the front desk to ask if I needed to lock the unit, to which she said no I was all set, so I had left to go to my hotel. About 30 minutes later I received a very rude and unpleasant call from an employee who was aggressively yelling that I had not put on a lock on my unit, to which I informed him I specifically asked if I had to and was told no I am all set. He continued in an aggressive tone and told me he would just put my lock from my previous rental (a storage unit) on the UBox and hung up, without informing me to retrieve a key for this lock nor mailing it to my address (the Ubox drop-off location). I had to break off the lock with bolt cutters, breaking a pair of bolt cutters in the process. As for the delivery portion itself, on Saturday I received a call that there are no drivers that work on the scheduled delivery date (Sunday 3/5) which I found strange since Uhaul had chosen this date, and I had to call out of work to stay home and have my items delivered that day instead (Saturday 3/4). I was told multiple different possible delivery timeframes, none of which were accurate as the shipment arrived late, which was upsetting because I could have still gone to work if I had known how late the delivery was going to arrive. I also continued to receive calls from the Uhaul scheduling center and was not updated that my Ubox had even arrived. Although the people on the phone were very nice and helpful, I found it very strange that every time I received a call the dates of my UBox pick up and drop off had changed when I had not asked for this to be done at all. For example, on 3/5 a woman called thinking that I had not gotten my delivery yet and also had it down that the pick-up would be for 3/8 which I had actually scheduled for 3/6 so that my driveway would be clear again as soon as possible. After my unit was picked up, my app said that my estimated delivery date was 3/7 and that estimated pick up would be 3/9 for some unknown reason, causing my concern that I would have additional charges that were not correct. Also, I had some billing issues in which the wrong cards were charged for the services than the one I had originally provided for paying for the UBox. Overall a majority of the UHaul employees were friendly and helpful (with the exception of the one man who called me in Pittsburgh), but the overall experience became so much more confusing and frustrating than necessary. I am weary to use this service again because of this experience, even though my stuff arrived in good condition.

curtis N.Most of the staff was helpful and friendly, however, after packing up a Ubox to be shipped, I had asked if I needed to do any further actions like putting a lock on the box or anything like that, and the person at the front desk said no. Later that day when I was no longer at the facility, a man called very aggressively and scolded me for not having a lock, which I told him that I was instructed I was all set and did not need to do anything else to my Ubox. He continued to talk to me aggressively and was not very helpful in finding a solution to the issue, he sounded annoyed and finally told me my lock I returned after closing my storage unit will be used after I told him that I was no longer in the area of the U-Haul and had to Uber to reach the facility. Overall the staff is usually really nice and helpful, but I now feel nervous and skeptical that my unit will be able to be accessed easily after this encounter as I no longer have the keys for the lock.

I received a phone call later from the staff, telling me I had forgotten my EZpass in the cab, and when I returned to pick it up, noticed it was securely wrapped in a printout of my order. What great service! High marks for the staff there.

Not having much experience we kept going, When we got to destination I crawled under truck and found the exhaust pipe was broken in front of the catalytic converter. The sound monitor on an Apple Watch measured 98db.

The signage as to where to enter, customer parking, where to return the truck is lacking. Liberty Ave is a busy street. It is uncomfortable trying to figure out where to turn with cars around you. This is complicated when driving a truck. Place was clean, well maintained. Appeared to be organized.

MARK B.side mirrors could not be adjusted for proper view of driver. My guess is you needed a wrench to adjust. For a 300 mile trip, it was difficult to continually lean forward to look out each side mirror when changing lanes. Also, the truck did shut off when I pulled into a parking lot at a rest area on the turnpike. I was concerned it wouldn't start but it did.
Dennis L.The truck leaked the whole time from the rainwater. There was a note written on the side panel, fix a leaking roof, so in return, and I had to pay for covered parking whenever my furniture was inside of the truck because it was raining the whole rental. That I have the truck.

LASHAUN M.Not this encounter, but the 2 previous times i rented a pick-up truck, from this location, it was not available for my reservation - they gave me a cargo van which was wonderful, but promised me a $50.00 credit BOTH times. I never received either credit, and my total was actually higher than it ever was before. I rent from this location approx. every 2-3 months. Other than that... These guys are always amazing at this location, and all deserve hero pins!! I've been to other local branches and the difference in customer service, professionalism, and knowledge is staggering!! I think the Liberty Ave. location should be a regional - if not national - training center!! They really are THAT good! Thank you - as always - for an amazing experience! We will be back soon! :]

Also when I went to close out I called and spoke to someone and they said they would go check the unit and send me an email as long as everything was out. That’s not what happened no one called and I kept getting bills and text messages stating that my storage was empty. So I called the second time and the young man was kind enough to do what he said he was going to do. But it did take two calls and the first call I had to be on the phone for almost a half an hour to speak to somebody
