Trevor D | First ImpressionsI am requesting a refund because my move on July 30 was severely disrupted by multiple U-Haul errors. * On **July 20**, I reserved a **pickup truck and two U-Boxes** for my move on **July 30**. * On **July 29 at 2:17 p.m.**, I called U-Haul to confirm my reservation. I was told everything was ready and that I could pick up my truck and U-Boxes at **9:00 a.m.** the next day at the **Washington Blvd. location in Pittsburgh**. My app also showed that location and all the items I had reserved. * When I arrived on the morning of **July 30**, I was told that the Washington Blvd. location **does not have pickup trucks at all**. They also said they had never received my confirmation and that my U-Boxes were not assigned to me. * Following their advice, I drove to the **Liberty Avenue** location and rented a **10-foot truck** instead. * I then drove back to the Washington Blvd. location to get my U-Boxes, only to find out they **had no U-Boxes available**. I wasted time, mileage, and gas driving back and forth because of U-Haul's mistakes, and I expect to be reimbursed for those unnecessary miles. * Since the U-Boxes were unavailable, I decided to complete my move using only the truck and store my belongings in the storage unit that was offered to me at the Liberty Avenue location. * After loading the truck and driving to the storage facility, I discovered that the storage unit I had been assigned was **far too small** to hold the contents of my two-bedroom apartment. It was completely unusable for my needs. * Because of this, I had no choice but to leave with the truck and keep it until **August 1**, my move-in day. I only kept the truck because U-Haul failed to provide a usable storage solution. * Despite all of these issues being caused by U-Haul, I have been charged for the truck, storage, and other related costs. I am requesting the following: 1. A refund of all charges except the basic rental charge for the **10-foot truck**. 2. Removal of the additional truck rental charges for the extra days, since I only kept the truck because U-Haul provided an unusable storage unit. 3. Cancellation and full refund of the storage unit, which I never used. 4. Reimbursement for the unnecessary mileage and fuel incurred while driving between U-Haul locations because my reservation was not honored. This entire situation resulted from repeated failures to fulfill my confirmed reservation, and I should not be responsible for the additional costs created by those errors. I would appreciate a prompt review of my case and a full resolution.

david G | Overall ExperienceStorage unit has a building support column immediately inside the unit which made the door significantly smaller than other units the same size and reduced the space available in the unit a noticeable amount. Moving my couch , box spring, and other large items into the unit was much, much harder than it should have been. Very disappointed with this storage experience.
