Vince was great helping me get what I needed. Also Del was amazing when I returned the truck. He was outside to check me in quickly even with the cold temps. I definitely will be renting from here again.

Very helpful and very busy location

Outstanding service and they were extremely helpful during a very stressful move. Not only did they help me with accommodating extra space for the next month, but also helped me find accommodations for my small boat. By that time I was exhausted and they saved my bacon. The facility makes loading and unloading easy. The facility was clean and secure. I WILL be using them going forward. Thank you to the whole staff

The associates bent over backwards to accommodate my situation. I could not be more satisfied.

I was overcharged. My reservation was for one day, and after I received my email receipt I noticed that I was charged for two days. I then called the customer service line to report the error, and they were helpful but could not fix the problem right away, and told me that it had to go through a review process and that someone would call me. I do see a refund on my credit card, but it does not seem like the correct amount, and no one ever called me to follow up like I was told would happen. I will NOT be returning to this location and probably not returning to Uhaul in general for my future rental needs.

The email that brought me here asks for a review of my experience and then the review page asks me about the location. More questions please. I would give the location 4 or 5 stars since everyone is helpful and the place is well maintained. I only chose a three star rating to grab your attention I will also be calling corporate to submit a complaint. I would like to describe my experience as traumatic and when choosing to move again I will be better off renting a van from a car rental place. I see that the vans have Arizona plates and when I had to abandon the van and call for roadside assistance I could tell that the person was not in the same state that I was in. You need to consider the weather conditions for all states that your company is located which I imagine is all 50 or at least 49. I would describe my experience as traumatic. I felt safe and secure renting a big cargo van but that safety and security was soon taken away. I had two family members who were able to help me with the move on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Both much stronger than I am. We loaded the cargo van and drove to the new place and up a steep snowy hill I was informed that the van was most likely only rear wheel drive. ...rear wheel drive in Pittsburgh, PA. Hilly snowy in the winter Pittsburgh, PA. We made it slowly up the hill. The van was unloaded and we were on our way back to finish the move. The move should have been a one day process finished by myself and the two people that were helping me that day but the van wasn't able to make it up a hill. Not only was it not able to make it up a hill but it started to slide backwards and to the side I surely thought I was going to smash into a parked car by the grace of whatever there is I was able to safely park the van and abandon it where it was. I walked back to the van the next day and fearfully drove it back to the U-haul center. What should have been a one day process turned into a three day process followed by excrutiating pain and what seems to be a pinched nerve in my neck. I had to have someone much smaller than the other two help me because who else could I have bothered on a holiday? We took things slow when moving the rest of the stuff but I still ended up very hurt. How will I unpack comfortably and get my dog acclimated to the place before returning to work this week if I'm laid up in bed. I should have been warned that the van was only rear wheel drive it would have taken more back and forth trips but I imagine I would have been better off renting the pick-up truck. Climates really need to be considered when choosing what trucks you have in which state. When choosing to move again I feel that I will be better off renting a 4-wheel drive van from a car rental company.

Windshield wipers on truck were ineffective. Need heavier duty blades or check on them before turning over to customers to make sure they are in operating condition.

There were some minor issues with the truck. It didn't affect my trip but would be concerned in the future. Specifically the drivers side door was difficult to close cleanly and the gas gap didn't click shut. I did make Village Hardware of Guthriesville aware. Other than that, I really like this Liberty Ave location. It is the 2nd time I have worked with them. Friendly and helpful.

I think that u Haul at this location is the best that I have seen, pleasant clean I don't think there need to be anything else, just stay on top of what your doing now
Brian M. on
Customer service was stellar! Truck had faulty driver side windshield wiper which made it dangerous to drive.

Renting a trailer for hauling a car and being charged for five days when I only needed it for three days is a little ridiculous. I feel like I was over charged. This has nothing to do with the location. I made reservations online

This is literally the best uhaul ever. I spend about 10-15k a year at a location in sf for my business and feel like I live in a uhaul. None are this nice. Good. Friendly. I love Love this uhaul. Can’t praise the owner mike and his team enough.

The online self check-in was touted as being super zippy, to save time. This was incorrect. It took a full 20 minutes to do all that was asked of me. It would have been much faster to go inside and check the van out traditionally. It would have been much better if some of the steps (pic of license and headshot, for instance) could have been done in advance, rather than when standing out in the cold.
