The trucks "change engine oil" warning light came on, because of this I do not consider the equipment to be well-maintained. It wasn't a problem for me. But it could become a problem for the vehicle or a future costumer, as proper vehicle maintenance, including resetting the warnings after proper maintenance should be expected from a vehicle rental facility.Matthew H.

This is regarding the location in 3700 Bigelow Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Initially, I had made a reservation on this location for my U-Haul. However, when I got there and showed my international driver's license (from Colombia), they refused to rent me the car since, according to them: "they were only allowed to accept international driver's licenses that were on their system". I don't know what classifies to be in their system but they always refused to rent the truck. That's why I had to go to Liberty Ave. I'll make sure to not go to Bigelow Boulevard U-Haul location again.Juanita L.

I had two different uboxes, they were supposed to ship together and arrive at the same location. They were shipped to two different locations and I went through an entire ordeal with this process. Uhaul dropped the ball twice with my uboxes. Extremely frustrating and poor customer service. I want compensation for what I had to deal with and I never heard back from any managers. Completely unacceptable and I will never do business with uhaul again.Robert D.
Stop forcing me to drive 10+ extra miles for a U-Haul truck when there is a closer location to my house. When you make a reservation, you should be able to reserve the location too. I had to pay $20 more than I wanted to since it is a dollar per mile.Daniel S.

This location was not the location I chose for pickup. Due to some sort of scheduling problem, my original location did not have a truck available and the local dispatcher sent me to a second location. When I arrived at the second location, there was still no truck available, so I was sent to the Liberty Avenue U-Haul. The service was fine, but I lost an hour of moving time because I had to run around to multiple locations. I was also promised a discount in compensation for the inconvenience, but that was not reflected in my bill.Linda M.

Nothing against that location, but I live far from it and I reserved one closer and it was fine booked, forcing me to go here, then when I arrived uhual I was later than expected cause of that distance, which caused reservation to time out , causing another 2 hour delay in picking up truck while I was o hold with customer service and had to drop off my employee who couldn't wait any longer, . Finally got back and picked up truck 4 hrs later, so I didn't get it packed up night before which completely defeated the purpose of renting night before.Robert S.

As I told the young man yesterday when he was checking me out of my storage unit when he asked if I had a good experience: this isn't even the closest storage unit or truck rental place for me. I went here a few years ago when I needed to move and the staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating it was unbelievable. That was around 2018 maybe and I still choose to get all of my trucks and storage spaces here. Additionally, I still see some of the faces around that I saw back then. I sincerely appreciated the use of the truck to move furniture. My only suggestion is that the fuel tanks should be full or no less than 3/4 full. Receiving a truck with a1/4 tank is inconvenient, wasted time, and forced me to find a gas station immediately to put more gasoline in the truck. Upon move-in, I experienced a love/hate for the wood floors. While I absolutely love the beautiful old wood flooring, there are areas that are missing chunks of wood and are in need of repair. These areas make the carts vibrate so badly that it shakes things off the cart, leading to the major annoyance of having to continually stop to pick up the stuff that had fallen off, and the possible damage caused from it. Maybe softer, more shock-absorbing wheels on the carts might be the quickest, least expensive solution. We were very happy with our storage rental experience. The facility is tidy, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Mike's assistance at the counter was excellent - he was welcoming, friendly, and gave clear & thorough move-in instructions that were simple to follow and quickly led me to our unit. We had several large items to move in (a bed frame and large dresser) and were a little worried about how it would go moving to an upper-level storage unit, but there is a spacious unloading area, free carts and dollies, and a large freight elevator that made moving in a breeze.
