My uboxes left Alabama around the 22nd, they got to post falls around the 27th. They scheduled them to be dropped off on June 7th originally because the system said they wouldn’t arrive until June 6th. When I rescheduled the delivery whoever I spoke with did not put it in the system so I was left waiting for them. It also took longer than expected to pick them up. I had empty uboxes in my possession for a week. Everything worked out good in Alabama with the drop off and pickup but it seemed difficult to get the uboxes delivered and picked up after the move. The delivery drivers were great and friendly. If the process had been more efficient I probably wouldn’t have had to pay the extra month of storage fees. Some of the uboxes didn’t have moving blankets. I personally think the boxes shouldn’t have any. Wasted space. I had 10 uboxes so in theory I should have had like 240 blankets? A little ridiculous. Just put 6 blankets in each or leave it up to the individual to buy and use their own.

So very impressed with the UBox service!! Everything went perfectly for our move. UHaul communicated with us during the entire time and let us know as each step was completed. Thank you to everyone whom we crossed paths with from beginning to end, you all are amazing!!!!

Honestly, the lady who runs it was super rude to my husband to start with and almost didn’t let him rent the trailer despite verifying with them that he could pick the trailer up in my stead the day before. Additionally, we returned it 24 hours early and they didn’t change the price at all, charged us for the full time with no apology, just a sucks to suck attitude. Really for how new it is you think they could try a tiny bit to act like professionals. Would absolutely recommend against this place every time.

I was only afforded 2 adjoining rental units on the 2nd floor literally in the back corner of the building, the 2 furthest units from the elevator. Was not given a choice. Was literally 60 yards down hallway to the left of elevator, the a left and about 80-90 yards back into the corner. None of the units were rented out between the elevator and our units the entire way from elevator to our units in the 7 months we rented. We asked to get closer units to elevators and were denied. The staff cited that the owner’s policy is to rent from the furthest away and to rent out units from back to front in that order. No exceptions. That is a bad policy! To be 62 years old and have to go up an elevator and down those long halls 30 - 40 times to store belongings that filled two 10’ X 10’ units is unacceptable. That is ridiculous! I had first rented 3 weeks earlier a large storage facility elsewhere but it wasn’t climate control, and the rainy weather had affected the boxes in that unit, so we had to change plans and move all our belongings a 2nd time (9 hours of work) over to U-Haul, so we were already exhausted. The first people to rent should get an option, not those that show up later. At the 6 month timeframe we wanted to only rent 1 of the 2 units as we had moved most of our belongings into our new home. We were told we could not just lease one, that the 2 units adjacent to each other had to be rented together? What????? Dumb. We could have moved our remaining belongings out of both to a smaller unit closer to the elevators and saved 70% of the rental fee! But we were not offered that option. Such bad policy to treat loyal customers that way. So that got us motivated to get everything out of storage in under 10 days as almost $ 300/month from U-Haul was nonsense. They should have offered us a choice and options, but they didn’t. So they made the decision to vacate simple for us and lost revenue, and any chance at referrals from us.

I have a rental locker at this location as well. I have had numerous reasons to go to the front counter over the last week and EVERY time they are short staffed. It is unusual for a Uhaul facility to be short staffed so badly, and by unusual I mean unique. EVERY single time I walked to the front counter I had to wait for an employee to show up. It was often a 5-10 minute wait for someone to come back from the bathroom or out on the yard. It's really a pain in the ass. Other than that, the employees are nice and competent, the place is clean and well maintained, no other issues.

From top to bottom, this moving experience has been an absolute nightmare because of U-Haul. First, it started with Josh, who couldn’t fathom why I was upset the reservation I made for a truck and an auto transport could not be completed at my original location request which was less than a mile from my house. He didn’t want to even try to understand why driving to two separate Uhaul locations or 20 minutes out of my way might cause disruption to a day I had carefully planned out. He was all too happy to condescendingly correct me about the number of drop off locations in my destination city. He got irate when I told him I was trying to figure out in real time how to make the changes work and was the warning sign my experience with U-Haul was not going to get any better. Now I get to the location and the systems are down. This wasn’t at all a bother to me because honestly, life happens. But in particular, Cadence not only forgot to put in the furniture pads during the original pickup causing me to drive out of my way to twice, according to the drop off representative she did not hook up my vehicle correctly nor did she know about the latch to lower the side railing. I had to pull my vehicle onto the transport which I completely understand but I had to get out of my vehicle through the drivers side window and had to leave it down because “Oh, I’ve never had anyone had to do that before” THATS BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO AIRHEADED TO RETAIN how you’ve been trained. God-willing I will never use U-Haul for moving services again.

They left nails/screws in my box so I had to remove them. Then when my box was picked up they left the nails in the driveway.

My Uboxes were very late. They were put in storage in Arizona rather than shipped to Idaho. I had to call UHaul 8 times to get things going. Eight times out of my days just to get someone to move the boxes to Idaho. And on top of that, they charged me for storage fees in Arizona. Most ridiculous thing that I’ve ever encountered. It’s actually comical when you think about all the erroneous mistakes that were made. The only thing that alleviated the huge frustration I had to endure was the fact the your employees are amazingly friendly and nice. Even the ones that could not help or didn’t understand were nice. At least you hire competent phone staff.

The U-BOX was damaged in handling at the destination, therefore it could not be moved to our location. A male U-Haul agent at the destination was unhelpful and surly when my son went to his appointment to retrieve the U-BOXES. Fortunately there also was a female agent there who was very helpful and cordial ! If that male is the same one who damaged one of our boxes beyond being able to transport it, and this damage required transferring the content to other containers, then I am really annoyed !

I did not use the furniture pads and they took up a pretty good amount of space unfolded in my box that I wish I had available for other boxes. Only suggestion would be to make those optional for customers but other than that I had a great experience with Uhaul.

The u box was originally put in the wrong location in the apartment complex and when I called to see if it could be moved to the correct spot the staff was very nice. They had the box moved within an hour and a half. Thank you all for your great service, you are appreciated!

Austin and the staff were kind,professional, helpful. The men who unloaded my belongings were respectful considerate . They took time to be careful and not rush through the process. I highly recommend Austen to guide and help through the move. I would like to add I was expecting my stuff to arrive a few days earlier. Moved from Bellingham to Spokane , Is the same state. And to suggest the moving crew.. Kudos to the movers!

Absolutely incompetent. That’s what I have to say about the uhaul staff. I was proactive asking them for weigh tickets for my uboxes days in advance of the pickup. I needed the weigh tickets in order to be reimbursed for my move. They nodded and smiled and “put a note in my file”. Then it came to the day of and nobody knew what to do. I spent an hour on the phone every day for three days after I loaded my uboxes trying to get the weigh tickets. I will not be using uhaul again after this move.

I made my reservation in the U-Haul app. My reservation was confirmed by phone with a U-Haul employee. I arrived and the truck was not ready and no one left the keys. My app said equipment was missing. I had to call their 24/7 service to have a general manager (with the WORST attitude) to get keys for me. I bring the truck back and they had an issue with the truck number, mileage, asking me if I took pictures when that’s not my responsibility. And during check out, they wanted me to pay for a full rank when it wasn’t full when I picked it up. They said my truck was even checked in (because their app sucks) and said they wouldn’t charge me since it was on their end. Guess what, I was charged $129 dollars! Worst service ever. Do not waste your time. I am very angry about the lack of professionalism and bad management.

Had a hard time locating the truck (there is no M1 and it was located in the North parking lot and not the East) Once I did the check in the dashboard said the tires need maintenance and was unable to read the odometer. Packing blankets were not in the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle with full tank when it was supposed to to be 5/8 I didn’t get credit for that, I returned the truck an hour before the return time I didn’t get credit for that. But I was charged and extra $17. You guys suck.

I really appreciated B pulling up the truck and letting it run to warm up before I got in. The truck itself was older, but it was clean and the comment is not reflective of the team at this UPS location, just commenting that it was definitely an older rig. Returning the truck was as fast and easy as the pick up! Thank you!

The location was clean, the staff friendly. The truck clean, though the air air pressure sensor seemed to be not working. They did mention it needed looked at. * I'll complete this and reevaluate my review, when I am reimbursed the $133.77 that was collected when I picked up the pickup truck I rented for 2 and a half days. On the day I returned it, everything checked out and they then collected $189.43. I was told that the $133.77 would be returned to my card. I'll give them time to do that. Other than this, I've never had any problems with any uhaul company, ever, and would highly recommend them everywhere. I also have never had them process it like this. Which is why I'm on edge. I'm hoping they don't let me down.

Pickup location and time was changed just before our scheduled time even though we scheduled it two weeks in advance. This messed up our move out day by cutting our time in half. The stress this caused was unacceptable.

I had issues with filling the gas tank back up due to my debit card breaking the same morning I was to return the truck and they were completely understanding and waved the gas fee for me. I really appreciated it, I was in an emergency chaotic move with 3 kids as a single mom. It made my day that they were so understanding.

The app is very confusing and did not update with correct dates/info. I had to call multiple sites in California when the box arrived to be able to tell where it was and if/when it would be in the final destination. Luckily, we were able to access it a day early so the experience was really good other than the app being confusing and the lack of consistent answers.

Pick- up was quick and easy. Drop-off was quick and easy. The truck only had half a tank of gas when we got it, and slightly over half a tank when we dropped it off, which means we paid for gas that Uhaul charged a prior user for not filling the tank before returning. Just makes me wonder how much Uhaul pockets in fueling charges that other consumers actually pay for when they do the above honest thing of returning the vehicle with more fuel than when it was picked up.

I like in cda but I would drive 50 miles to just be around that kind ness . U haul is very lucky to have that crew but once again, it starts at the top
