The check in was quick and easy. The store is nice and clean with plenty of boxes, reasonably priced, on hand. Everything you need for a great move experience.
Dawn KFrom top to bottom, this moving experience has been an absolute nightmare because of U-Haul. First, it started with Josh, who couldn’t fathom why I was upset the reservation I made for a truck and an auto transport could not be completed at my original location request which was less than a mile from my house. He didn’t want to even try to understand why driving to two separate Uhaul locations or 20 minutes out of my way might cause disruption to a day I had carefully planned out. He was all too happy to condescendingly correct me about the number of drop off locations in my destination city. He got irate when I told him I was trying to figure out in real time how to make the changes work and was the warning sign my experience with U-Haul was not going to get any better. Now I get to the location and the systems are down. This wasn’t at all a bother to me because honestly, life happens. But in particular, Cadence not only forgot to put in the furniture pads during the original pickup causing me to drive out of my way to twice, according to the drop off representative she did not hook up my vehicle correctly nor did she know about the latch to lower the side railing. I had to pull my vehicle onto the transport which I completely understand but I had to get out of my vehicle through the drivers side window and had to leave it down because “Oh, I’ve never had anyone had to do that before” THATS BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO AIRHEADED TO RETAIN how you’ve been trained. God-willing I will never use U-Haul for moving services again.

MARK FMy Uboxes were very late. They were put in storage in Arizona rather than shipped to Idaho. I had to call UHaul 8 times to get things going. Eight times out of my days just to get someone to move the boxes to Idaho. And on top of that, they charged me for storage fees in Arizona. Most ridiculous thing that I’ve ever encountered. It’s actually comical when you think about all the erroneous mistakes that were made. The only thing that alleviated the huge frustration I had to endure was the fact the your employees are amazingly friendly and nice. Even the ones that could not help or didn’t understand were nice. At least you hire competent phone staff.

Joshua F | Overall ExperienceThe U-BOX was damaged in handling at the destination, therefore it could not be moved to our location. A male U-Haul agent at the destination was unhelpful and surly when my son went to his appointment to retrieve the U-BOXES. Fortunately there also was a female agent there who was very helpful and cordial ! If that male is the same one who damaged one of our boxes beyond being able to transport it, and this damage required transferring the content to other containers, then I am really annoyed !
GARY PI did not use the furniture pads and they took up a pretty good amount of space unfolded in my box that I wish I had available for other boxes. Only suggestion would be to make those optional for customers but other than that I had a great experience with Uhaul.

Melva R | First ImpressionsAbsolutely incompetent. That’s what I have to say about the uhaul staff. I was proactive asking them for weigh tickets for my uboxes days in advance of the pickup. I needed the weigh tickets in order to be reimbursed for my move. They nodded and smiled and “put a note in my file”. Then it came to the day of and nobody knew what to do. I spent an hour on the phone every day for three days after I loaded my uboxes trying to get the weigh tickets. I will not be using uhaul again after this move.

RICHARD VI made my reservation in the U-Haul app. My reservation was confirmed by phone with a U-Haul employee. I arrived and the truck was not ready and no one left the keys. My app said equipment was missing. I had to call their 24/7 service to have a general manager (with the WORST attitude) to get keys for me. I bring the truck back and they had an issue with the truck number, mileage, asking me if I took pictures when that’s not my responsibility. And during check out, they wanted me to pay for a full rank when it wasn’t full when I picked it up. They said my truck was even checked in (because their app sucks) and said they wouldn’t charge me since it was on their end. Guess what, I was charged $129 dollars! Worst service ever. Do not waste your time. I am very angry about the lack of professionalism and bad management.

Vince DHad a hard time locating the truck (there is no M1 and it was located in the North parking lot and not the East) Once I did the check in the dashboard said the tires need maintenance and was unable to read the odometer. Packing blankets were not in the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle with full tank when it was supposed to to be 5/8 I didn’t get credit for that, I returned the truck an hour before the return time I didn’t get credit for that. But I was charged and extra $17. You guys suck.

The truck itself was older, but it was clean and the comment is not reflective of the team at this UPS location, just commenting that it was definitely an older rig. Returning the truck was as fast and easy as the pick up! Thank you!

They did mention it needed looked at. * I'll complete this and reevaluate my review, when I am reimbursed the $133.77 that was collected when I picked up the pickup truck I rented for 2 and a half days. On the day I returned it, everything checked out and they then collected $189.43. I was told that the $133.77 would be returned to my card. I'll give them time to do that. Other than this, I've never had any problems with any uhaul company, ever, and would highly recommend them everywhere. I also have never had them process it like this. Which is why I'm on edge. I'm hoping they don't let me down.

Janine BPickup location and time was changed just before our scheduled time even though we scheduled it two weeks in advance. This messed up our move out day by cutting our time in half. The stress this caused was unacceptable.
JOSHUA TI had issues with filling the gas tank back up due to my debit card breaking the same morning I was to return the truck and they were completely understanding and waved the gas fee for me. I really appreciated it, I was in an emergency chaotic move with 3 kids as a single mom. It made my day that they were so understanding.

I had to call multiple sites in California when the box arrived to be able to tell where it was and if/when it would be in the final destination. Luckily, we were able to access it a day early so the experience was really good other than the app being confusing and the lack of consistent answers.

LEN RI had an outstanding team take care of everything, they work fast, efficient and professional. I would say hire more outstanding workers. The team was Devon and Kenny they were amazing.
Silvia RPick- up was quick and easy. Drop-off was quick and easy. The truck only had half a tank of gas when we got it, and slightly over half a tank when we dropped it off, which means we paid for gas that Uhaul charged a prior user for not filling the tank before returning. Just makes me wonder how much Uhaul pockets in fueling charges that other consumers actually pay for when they do the above honest thing of returning the vehicle with more fuel than when it was picked up.
