Website and app need some work.If a company is going to have an online presence it should have the tools in place to order and make reservations without having to talk to a physical person. Call center isn't connecting to local U-Haul centers efficiently. (Example: Would be told we would be contacted through our local U-Haul and never received a call back or email.) Our Ubox had a problem when we received it and instead of the crew letting us know during pick up, we called to let them know of the issue and they knew it was a problem and reassured us we wouldn't be charged for their damage. I don't believe it's the the workers fault but the Companies's. If they were paid enough for their time, their customer service would be amazing and problems like that would not be over looked.Luz P.

Employees are verbally and violently disrespectful the experience was over the top wrong! Recieved a small refund after being screamed at for nothing more than an employee getting startled moving equipment towards a moving vehicle. I will never go back. Shameful on all their accountsTony H.
When we arrived at 9am, there was a line of 12 people and it took nearly 30 minutes to get checked in. I know about 24/7 share check-in but it wouldn't let me do it on my phone after my reservation date. Maybe it would but it wasn't easy to figure out how it would work at your location. I asked someone how I could do it but your staff didn't know so I still had to wait in line.Kristi M.

An over all bad experience ! Prices went up as pods were delivered . Mystery charges appeared on CC every week , Delivery destination was incorrect by 40 miles , then I was charged more than my contract said ! Not happy at allPhil B.
First off I made the reservation in Flagstaff, Az for pick up there, then received an email stating that there were no trailers available that I would need to pick up in Prescott, over a 90 minute drive. Then upon using the trailer for only 4 days you don't give any credit for returning early. What a shame. You used to be so reliable, answered phones after just a few rings. I guess those days are long gone. Luckily there are other options for customers to rent from.Phyllis P.

Everyone here from the General Manager made my son and I feel welcomed. Everyone was kind and very professional. They did did it all right the first time, from checking in for my storage room, the paperwork (computer) process, the explanation of how to enter the storage location and find my storage room, and the eventual drop off and inspection of the trailer. The equipment I was given to rent was in disrepair and definitely not the same standards I've seen from u haul with previous rentals. Access to the storage units during non-staffed hours is through 2 smaller doors (man doors) and not the large automatic doors. The smaller doors are not as easy to use when moving furniture as the larger, automatic doors. There is a container with poison in the unit to keep rodents away. I couldn't tell what the container was until I picked it up & was then able to read the writing on it that said poison, do not touch.Linda P. | First Impressions

I did a after-hours drop-off and even though I wasn't able to get the app to work for me, I did call this morning and they were very prompt at telling me that they saw it and processed it in. They made things so easy and there were no hiccups. I will definitely use Uhaul again.Tracy K.
I had a reservation for 12 days as an in town rental. Due to unavailable trailers in Prescott, It was arranged that I pick up in Williams and return in Prescott as in town, I was never told it would be billed as a one way with extra days. I was quoted @ 260 for the total rental and have now paid $461.00. I called the location I dropped the trailer and attempted to explain this and they could not understand it as anything other then a one-way with 8 extra days billed at a much higher rate. So I was either lied to by the reservation person that helped me or the first location screwed it up and the second is unwilling to help correct it. Either way I'm very unhappy with this transaction and would be happy to have some one help me correct it.Aaron E.

We have rented from this location in the past and never had any complaints. This time, it was very evident the employee behind the counter had a bad attitude which in turn, sets the tone for the entire encounter. To the point I told him, â€œ man, sorry if you're having a bad day but you should be happy you have a job.â€ He was an ass to the guy before us too. I legit felt sorry for the previous customer because your representative was so short and rude. Apparently the manager has been off for a couple of daysâ€¦. It showed.Laura C.

Isaiah at the Prescott location was absolutely rude and three people working with no customers couldn't help me with the billing issues. None of them knew how! So unorganized and the assistant Mgr. Making the cab comfortable to both drive and ride in over long distance would be a great improvement. Your trucks are uncomfortable And Ill equipped for long distance travel. The mirrors are not well equipped for long distance travel, as they do not keep their positions well over ANY bumpy terrain (like freeways). The lack of any ergonomic positioning of instruments makes travel difficult at best. The heat resistance in the cab is so lacking that the air-conditioning is barely able to keep up. The MPG seems intentionally made to force more spending on every mile. In truth, whoever manufacturered this mode of travel, intentionally made it to make the user SPEND money rather than SAVE it.CARLOS H.

We asked for a hitch to pull our trailer behind the truck. But it would not work so we had to leave the trailer behind and rent a nother truck to get it up home. Apparently U-Haul trucks with the trailer on it only polls U-Haul trailers and we were not told thisStephen B.

The employees are TERRIFIC! but the process was horrible. We had a GUARANTEED reservation but when we arrived, our unit wasn't available resulting in renting a very small unit. The small unit didn't accommodate all of our household effects and forcing items into the small unit resulted in massive breakage and loss. UHaul should NOT guarantee units that aren't available. Storage itself is great (clean, dry and secure) but its location is not necessarily convenient. Instead of sitting on a large open area, this storage facility has multiple floors and seats against a tall hill. Icy slopes in the winter make its access a bit tricky. A large elevator and various carts are, however, helpful for moving things in and out of storage. Getting the unit was a disaster. We reserved online, had a moving truck on the way. Had a contract number and when we got there they said “ oh that’s actually not available “ despite the fact we had a full size moving truck on the way and nowhere to put things . Which is how we got the smaller unit. Amazingly about 20 minutes later, our big unit we had reserved was miraculously available again. When we went to move out of the unit, It says there will be a $50 fee to have the locks cut. Which is fine because in the move I misplaced the keys. I get a call from a lady at the storage place saying that WE have to have the arrangement to get the lock cut. Which means we had to be there. I never got the credit we were promised for enrolling in automatic withdrawal. When we were there, there were two other people with the same issues of reserving online, and coming in to nothing available.
