Parking brake light came on a few times during the drive, while the parking break was clearly off. Feedback for the Staff: don't watch games on your phone while customers are in front of you. Don't curse in front of customers, it's unprofessional. Don't rent from U-Haul. Lied about how much it cost per day to keep the U-Haul. Lied about how many days we kept the U-Haul. Why did that we didn't fill up the gas tank even though we have receipts to prove that we did. Lied about giving us a discount and never included it. Absolutely horrible service. I assumed that all trucks would at least have air conditioning. I ended up leaving early one morning for a 10 hour drive across the AZ desert to find that my truck did not have a/c. That was a shock and made for a VERY difficult trip across the desert in 110 degree heat the truck windows open. At the very least, this should be an option and we should be informed if a truck does NOT have air conditioning. Otherwise, the people at this address were GREAT and helpful. Thanks. I picked up the trailer right before the store closed and I was told I could drop the trailer off the next day. I dropped the trailer off after hours and was charged for two days. This does not seem appropriate given that I did not have the trailer for two entire renting periods. The trailer I rented did not have a Jack to take the trailer off of my vehicle. This made it extremely difficult to disconnect the trailer by myself.Joshua W.

The only problem I had was that the third driver was not listed on the contract,even though i had given a copy of the drivers license to the representative. After she read all three names to me, i quickly signed the contract. Whilendriving down the road i had looked at the contract and found the third name missing. I call the office in prescott and they said that it would be alright since the driver had a valid drivers license. Inhung up and further read the contact which stated that all drivers had to be authorized bu uhaul. We had to pull off the interstate and call uhaul 800#. The person at that time said the same thing and inasked that he lookmat the contract and read the paragraph about authorized drivers. Apparently the people have been told that any licensed person can drive. You need to either remove the paragraph on the contract or retrain your personnel to disseminate the proper sinformation.patrica M.

The truck they gave me had a very noticeable flat tire. When I pointed it out to Cameron he basically said do you still want the truck and was going to fill it up with air. Of course I said no and asked for another truck. I can't believe that A) no one there did some basic maintenance checks before giving me a truck and B) would then basically give me a truck with a flat tire that is a safety hazard. He said there were no other trucks, which was not true. I asked him to swap out the tire on another truck and he said he couldn't do that. He then tried to send me to Camp Verde, which is 40 miles away, to get a truck. Then a female co worker of his chimed in for no reason to make things worse telling me "we can't make a truck magically appear". Finally the manager got involved and had to make a few phone calls before he got approval for me to take another similar size truck that they "magically made appear". I was there over 45 minutes trying to get a truck that I reserved weeks in advance. Extremely frustrating on what was already a stressful day of moving that had it start delayed by over 30 minutes.Cliff S.

The check in went very well, very pleased with the service, to get in and out in a timely fashion. The trailer itself, the door was difficult to open/close, did not notice it until I went to load. The return went very well operationally. In the process of disconnecting the trailer, another UHaul team member comes over to assist the original employee. The original employee advises the supporting team member not to get too close, that he was sick! When you are sick, please stay home! When I left I was sad to learn that their policy was that I had to pay for the whole month when I had gone 2 weeks over since I paid. I got no money back & I had been with the company for a year. It would have been nice, but other than that everything was good. Storage was fine and I had no problems other than after hours. Drove 4 hours to pick my truck and trailers up .Truck had a warning light stating a gas cap problem. Drove for 2 hours towards my home (8 hrs.round trip) when I fueled the tank up and that's when I smelled a heavy gas odor. Got home, Loaded truck and set off the next day(3) day drive. Filled the tank in the Nevada desert and noticed several gallons of gas on the ground coming from under the truck. Happened at least twice more on my trip. Access to the storage units during non-staffed hours is through 2 smaller doors (man doors) and not the large automatic doors. The smaller doors are not as easy to use when moving furniture as the larger, automatic doors. There is a container with poison in the unit to keep rodents away. Storage itself is great (clean, dry and secure) but its location is not necessarily convenient. Instead of sitting on a large open area, this storage facility has multiple floors and seats against a tall hill. Icy slopes in the winter make its access a bit tricky. A large elevator and various carts are, however, helpful for moving things in and out of storage. Getting the unit was a disaster. We reserved online, had a moving truck on the way. Had a contract number and when we got there they said “ oh that’s actually not available “ despite the fact we had a full size moving truck on the way and nowhere to put things . Which is how we got the smaller unit. Amazingly about 20 minutes later, our big unit we had reserved was miraculously available again. When we went to move out of the unit, It says there will be a $50 fee to have the locks cut. Which is fine because in the move I misplaced the keys. I get a call from a lady at the storage place saying that WE have to have the arrangement to get the lock cut. Which means we had to be there. I never got the credit we were promised for enrolling in automatic withdrawal. When we were there, there were two other people with the same issues of reserving online, and coming in to nothing available.
