Man I really love this storage space. You have after hours access, the facility is very clean, and they have restrooms which are also always clean. The only reason I moved out is because I finally found.a decent apartment. I had a small unit inside on the first floor. No problems with water leaking in. I noticed there are mice that can get in, but they are everywhere in Providence and my unit had a mouse trap. One more thing: it is easy to pay rent here because you can pay online. The person behind the counter was going to charge me a cleaning fee I have never been charged before I always take it back clean. It's been raining and there was a little dirt on my shoes. I have in the past rented from hete many times and I have had trucks so dirty that I have to clean tj seats. If a truck has dirt I always have ine of my worker clean or wash the back inside of the truck. I'm very unhappy with this place. I have rented this truck three times and the passenger side mirror has been broken all these weeks and that's a violation it's still like that.LUCILA C.

Let your customers know that they have to return the truck to that specific location before they leave .I ended up getting charged for an extra day even though the truck was sitting in a uhaul parking lot since 12/25 before 3pm and the app stated I didn't have a rental or reservation when I tried to return it allowing you people to overcharge me not.only for the extra day even though I didn't have the truck and also the 20$ charge for not being able to return it and also the Xtra mileage to return it to the other location which should've been verbally stated to me as a customer before I left said locationClaudia A.

The truck had a layer of dirt over the dashboard and the interior windshield was extremely dirty and tricky to see through with the fog building up. I also found that the passenger headlight was out, which I find to be unacceptable, as it was not helpful driving in the rain, but more so that it is actually illegal. I will NOT be returning to this location again. The employees at this location were kind and the only saving grace.ANDREW C.

I never returned a usual myself my dad or brothers have always done it for me. I dropped the truck off with in my hours ,put the keys and contract without knowing I had to go to a link and input any info,they charged me a after hour fee for not doing the link and the manager was rude about my inquiring as to disputing the fee and told me to take it up with â€œcorporate â€œ not happy one bitChristine T.

Reference UHAUL res # above, following is provided for the record. Although the vehicle was ready when I arrived to pick it up it was dirty inside and out. So much so that it was hard to distinguish scratches and/or dings from the dirt on the body during the walk around. Inside the same. Agent apologized for the condition and indicated they just couldn't get good help. Was disappointed and expected better from UHAUL. Fortunately we still have choices and other resources.Paul S.

There are not enough rolling carts for customers to use to move into/out of the storage facility. I was in and out many times during the day and only ever saw one small cart designed for mattresses. When I inquired of the manager he said the others were in use but I suspect that either they were abandoned somewhere inside the facility or they were missing completely. The staff should check this periodically throughout the day and walk the premises to recover abandoned carts and bring them back to the entrance. They should also consider getting more carts. I am comparing this experience to one at a near by Extra Space facility where I also have a storage unit. Extra Space has many more carts available for customers.STEPHENJONATHAN S.

Charged and extra 104 more than already paid online. Then the cab was full of water bottles from previous renter. Told on line we had 7 days... the guy at the rental store said 5 days! Resulting a hurried trip to Missouri.. renter drove 24 straight hours instead of being able to sleep , as the truck has to be back early! Not pleased with the service this time around!MATTHEW L.

I had booked the vehicle at the East Bay Self Storage location in East Providence. Pat made the reservation process very easy & explained charges, etc. before I signed the agreement. I called east providence and they said YEP we can accommodate you. I booked it and 5 mins later they call me from Providence location saying you have to get and drop it here. Well that was a bit of a bait and switch. It worked but added 45 mins round trip to my already stressful move.Jennifer J.

I had a wonderful experience renting the truck. I went to a different location and didn't have the truck I needed. The young man called this location and reserved the truck I needed. The guys at Oxford Street were very knowledgeable and the customer service was excellent. I am very pleased.Miriam A.
This was the worst experience imaginable. I was called 3 times the day I was supposed to pick up the truck moving my pickup time. When I went to pickup the truck after hours the website would not allow me to do online check out and I was on hold with customer service for an hour before giving up. I had to come back the next day, which disrupted all my moving plans and was especially frustrating since I had intentionally reserved the truck for the day before. Furthermore, I was not given any financial discount for all my time wasted and the poor service. I will be discouraging friends from using uhaul in general and this cite specifically.IONE H.

Upon getting in the truck, it appeared the gas level was actually below what had been marked. I drove 15 miles, put in three gallons of gas, and was still charged for four gallons ($18.00) after returning it. I would recommend double-checking this with the next customer - especially since the truck was parked on a hill.Beck S.
Online check-in process was frustrating. Even though I shared my location with the website (also ensured settings were set appropriately), it would not let me move past that step when on my phone on a Safari browser. It did work on my girlfriend's phone on a Google Chrome browser. If she wasn't there I might have been out of luck. Should definitely confirm compatibility with all browsers and note which do not work.Benjamin R.

Rental pickup went smoothly. Personnel was friendly and accommodating. Two issues can be improved. 1) Drop off location was not identified by sales person at site, and I was told To just call 1800 number and they'll help w that. However was not told that locations to drop off are very limited and change frequently and some can be 1.5 hrs away if not arranged early enough. This is a major piece of info missing as it means travel plans must be adjusted on day of drop off.Yll A.

The truck I rented was a piece of crap but I only needed it for 8 miles. Even though I was charged for 11.....it had one extra mile on speedometer when I picked it up but I was there so long because the computers were down I didn't care about the $0.99, then I dropped it off and they tacked on 2 more miles....horrible customer service, truck in very bad shape, never againHeather S.

Arthur was extremely kind to us, as new storage unit renters. Since my husband and I did not know how long we'd need to rent for, he gave us our first month free! He and George were helping to train a new employee, and were very patient with him. They were all a very nice group of people. Our once concern was that our move in did not take place until after hours, and someone went into the unit who may or may not been living out of one of the storage units.
