Even though I reserved a uhaul for a specific time, it wasn't ready when I got there because the last person using it was late. There should be a buffer between these two times of drop off and pick up or atleast a discount if my reserved uhaul isn't there when it needed to be. I planned a day around the uhaul pickup time and was not able to follow through.

inspect your equipment for safety issues and damage before taking possession and driving. Bald and low tire tread, damage to the siding, etc... We identified problems with the truck, and to their credit they swapped and gave us a brand new vehicle with very low miles.

This is the third time I have rented from Uhaul and ALL three times, I was charged for gas when I proved by photo and receipt that I refilled the tank before returning. I make it a practice to photo the gas gauge before and after because I have learned that this is a common practice to steal from customers. This time, the manager would not refund me the extra $11.25 for the gas charge. I drove a total of 6.9 miles and there is no way that 3 gallons of gas was spent... and I prepaid for 10 miles. I provided a photo of the gas gauge the next day and a gas receipt, but the manager would still not refund me the money ($3) for the mileage over change nor the gas charge ($11.25). It is outright thievery and this practice has got to stop. This extra charge is now in dispute with my credit card company. Shame on you Uhaul.

Bad customer service. Dirty old equipment. Had to argue with staff to clean it first, yet if I were to return truck dirty...then I'm charged. No value. Will never use Uhaul again. Service desk guy was nice, but his helper was nasty and untrained, and didn't want to work.

Gentleman at front desk was pleasant but The van smelled like feces. Pretty disgusting. We have infants and had limited time to get our errand done so we just rushed through and dealt with it and had to keep windows open during a rainstorm.
