After returning & waiting for our ride to pick us up, we saw Several customers coming in looking for propane refills or information but no personnel at counters. Person in office & seemed to be busy, but lack of staff. Seems to be a ongoing issue just like my pick up experience. Oh, drop off personnel outside was very Pleasant and courteous
Rusty C.General comment to U-Haul - It would be better to receive a truck with a full tank of gas and then return it with a full tank of gas. I found it difficult to determine just where 5/8 of a tank happens to be with the gas gauge analog arrow. I thought I had reached a bit more than what I started with but ended up getting charged for 2 more gallons by U-Haul. Returning it full is EASY.

No one contacted me when they supposedly found damage, they just applied and tried to charge my card. He has continued to try and charge my card. I have put fraud on them and I am filing a complaint with their corp office as I type this. I never damaged the truck and I am really pissed that they would do this. I believe it was because I told the guy that was checking us out, I didnt want their insurance. He kept forcing it on us and I refused and told him to stop. Now all of a sudden, and as many times as I rented uhaul and never had insurance, IM GOING TO HAVE DAMAGE CHARGES ON ME? Not going to happen. This location is a joke. Especially the manager.

Did not advise me that nowadays you have to use the U-Haul app to do everything. Did not have the trailer dollies I reserved. Whole checkout took almost an hour and still recorded that I had to have truck back by noon on return day even though I didn't take possession until 1pm. Very unhelpful

When I arrived to pick up my truck, they had given it to someone else even though I reserved it. They told me it had half a tank of gas, it didn't. When I asked them to fill it, the girl angel refused to do it and said I need to argue it with support and hope they accept it.

The items bounce and shift when each wheel goes over Each paver. While they look pretty they are not mover friendly. I would suggest not using them in future locations.

It was not. The staff at the desk seemed surprised that I expected the lock to be inside the unit. 3. The climate control system does not seem to work very well at this location (Red Bluff, CA). The thermometer inside the building indicated 85 degrees. 4. Other than these minor inconveniences, the facility is very clean, modern, and in a very convenient location. The online reservation system was easy to navigate and simple to complete. I like that this facility, in addition to storage units, has all the items one would need for packing, storing and moving. Very nice.

I was then told I do not get reimbursed for ANY of those 25 unused days on either unit. I was shocked. It doesn’t work that way in literally ANY other business I know of. Very disappointing aspect to an otherwise great experience storing my belongings there for 7 months. I felt I was a great customer and these firm stance was not very good customer service by any means. I was basically told I was stuck with it and flat out of luck on any discussion of how this is simply not fair or good business practices

He was very nice and professional during the whole interaction and then sold me a 5x5 storage space. I used to be a supervisor/worker for a utility company and he is exactly the type of persons I would look for to hire on our team.

But when we arrived the store units at U hula in Chico were not available and we had to unload and store our truck load of furniture and household goods in Red Bluff. This caused us extra mileage and therefore extra expense. Not Red Bluff's fault. But irritating that the original reservation did not work as planned.
