The online reservation was quick and easy but the online pick up and return were not as easy. The button to take the pictures only took me to my gallery with not option to take a picture. I had to go back and forth between the site and my camera to know what picture was needed and then have the picture in the gallery ready to choose. It reset a few times which made things take longer.erin G.

Didn't have the correct payment card with me when we went to pick up the truck. Assistant indicated it wouldn't be any trouble to change it when I brought truck back. Only one clerk working at counter when doing return. He was helping a customer check out truck and said he would be back in a few. Waited quite some time and another guy walked through and asked which truck was mine and asked for the key and left and did same with customer behind me. I did not know he was checking truck back in to tell him about the card situation. He came back and handed me a receipt and said I was ready to go. I asked about changing the card information and he told me it was too late. I asked him how I was supposed to know he was checking the vehicle back in and would be processing the charge? He was rude and not willing to offer a solution. I hope my next encounter at this facility doesn't involve him. Communication is very valuable and a little more than what I received would have been helpful.Kathleen E.

Made a reservation. Showed up to pick up trailer and not there. Asked about the reservation guarantee and got told to call customer service. Tried that. Wait time was crazy. The moved my reservation from 12:30 to 4:00 without telling me. When I did finally pick up my car hauler trailer I found out the hard way the brakes did not work at all. I forgot the name of the guy that set me up with the trailer when I got there but it was the best customer service I've ever had. He put a new ball on my hitch and replaced a fuse to get the lights to work on the trailer. Was extremely nice and helpful. The guy that helped me when I returned the trailer wasnt very nice at all. I felt like a nuisance. Also rolled the trailer from 10 ft away and it slammed into the curb. Will come back because of the first guyAlexander F.

Customer service by phone is totally worthless. I like to reserve equipment in advance by phone and then just pick up the equipment on the reserved day. Can never get through to a live person no matter how long I wait on hold. I have to go to the facility to pre-reserve the equipment. Staff however at the facility are absolutely great.Dale K.

Be sure the mileage on the receipt was the same on the odometer in the truck. The receipt shows tenths of miles whereas the trucks only show whole miles. My truck odom, ended in 4 miles but the receipt said 3. I drove less that 1/4 mile and it flipped to 5 as soon as I made a U turn to go where I wanted as l was leaving the UHaul yard. So the correct mileage was ~4.8. The men at the counter believed me and did not charge me for the added 1.8 miles. But Uhaul should not be nickle and diming customers this way. If the odometer does not show tenths of a mile the receipt should also not show xx.o miles at the start. So in spite of this my review is positive because the men at the counter believed me.stewart H.
I believe there is no room for improvement for my rental experience. I was in a crunch my help had not shown up for the things that I needed to get done and everyone in that U-Haul was very helpful and did not give me a hard time when I needed the truck longer than scheduled. The uhal was dirty, inside and out. A thick layer of dust was was on the bed of the truck when we opened it. The inside wasn't any better. It's smelled like cigarette smoke. There was also food and dirt on the floor and in the cup holders of the cab. I had to clean it to even move my belongings in it.Corine H.

The manager, Scott, has terrible customer service skills. I walked in and there was no one up front. I waited and no one walked out so I called out, nothing. Then I walked down the hall and the very first office, Scott was starting at his computer and didn't look up until I finally said hello. I asked if there was anyone that could come up front and he said "there's lots of people, they must be working with other customers". I was the ONLY customer in there and he couldn't get off his lazy ass to try to help me. Terrible!Stacy R.

About half way through my stay, a Uhaul rep called me and stated they would need to cut my lock off to install new security system. I gave them approval as long as they put another one on and left me a key at the front desk. After my wife tried to get the key she was told they would never do that. After about a week of trying they finally came out to remove the lock again (assuming we locked ourselves out) and came to the realization that they had the key in one of their drawers up front. Pretty disappointed at how much of my wife and I's time was wasted. Facilities are incredibly expensive compared to local storage.Andrew J. | Overall Experience

The local UHaul staff and knowledge is great. The local staff are very helpful and go above and beyond. The phone system and national UHaul experience is horrible. The wait times are excessive. Every call is transferred to at least 3 other "departments" and sometimes you MUST go to the local UHaul to have your question answered or need resolved. Corporate is terrible. Local is amazing!
