I see nothing that needs improving. Everything went smooth and quickly.
PHILLIP KI waited 45 minutes to pickup my pre-reserved rental trailer. The return process was not well handled, as I was asked to back the trailer into a spot where I had little clearance to successfully back in the trailer. I spent 45 minutes trying to simply drop off trailer. I will not be back to this location and do not recommend.
DOUGLAS BLot is tight but equipment was on hand. Would suggest moving equipment needed further clear of other obstacles.

BARBARA GHad to wait an entire 12 hours to get my rental truck because the employees didn’t leave the key in the lockbox before they closed. Really messed up my plans. Go to a different U-Haul location where they actually do their jobs correctly so it doesn’t effect your own schedule.

Shawn LI did my reservation online. It asked me what location I was picking the truck up from, where I was starting out and where I would end up. I was given one price, but when I arrive to pick up the truck, I was given a different price. Perhaps you could fix your online reservation to calculate the mileage from the store pick up to the destinations that are entered to get a more accurate dollar amount. This could potentially prevent having irate customers in the future.

ANTHONY AClean your trucks before renting them. The inside of the cab was nicely cleaned, inside the box however, was not. The roll up door was left open. I was charged for gas even though it was filled properly( this issue was taken care of quickly by customer service thankfully) and lastly when I called the Redford store to complain about 4 individual issues, or ask about a refund, the woman on the phone from the store said “we’re human, we all make mistakes” and proceeded to ask if I wanted the U-Haul customer service number. So I got it from her and called and realized she gave me the wrong number for customer service. She gave me the number for insurance claims. Her attitude and response on the phone is what led me to file a legitimate complaint. While the man I rented from screwed up, he was at least very nice.

Brenden DDrop off was a little chaotic, for the mobile return it wasn't clear that where I should leave the vehicle. I left it in line with the other return vehicles, but the check out process makes me think I should I have returned to a parking spot instead. Just more clarity to avoid confusion would be helpful

Brandon BOutside of clerk/manager that check out the truck to me it was as wild of a ride as the truck gave me! Manager/clerk was alwesome. So I reserved a cargo van on the app. Went to pickup only to find there was no cargo van, Amazon has them ALL! So why was I able to reserve one? The 10” truck was OLD, the steering wheel was grossly and pealing. The truck makes all sorts of noises and bounces like crazy over bumps, the truck and cargo area
TOMMY LI was told that I was able to fit my refrigerator in the storage unit but that was not true when I brought the refrigerator to the storage because it was not the correct size. Other than that it was nice to store the rest of my belongings just next time make sure your workers know what is able to fit and what unit thank you thank you.
teresa h | Overall ExperienceWhile the facility is well maintained and staff is friendly, the cost of storage for a small space increased from $74 to $79 to $85 over the course of 2 years. Understandable that U-haul is in business to make a profit, but a senior discount or rate freeze for seniors over 80 who have stored with U-haul for more than one year would have been helpful. Respectable experience overall, but there are other facilities offering small spaces for much less.
