We usually have no issue with this location but this time the equipment was filthy inside and the tires were in very bad shape. If we had not been 4 hrs away we would have called for a replacement. You could give me some money off my bill since I returned the truck with half a tank of gas more then I was supposed to. You could not charge me for things I didn't use or even ask for those things to be in the truck. The dolly was never used just in the way and ended up getting hit so that little green band broke indicating I used when in fact i didn't it got bumped by a couch and I got charged as if I used it... over all very unsatisfiedTrevor K.

They were the only location in my area that had an available 15' truck when I needed it,the reservation was mad through the Westland storage location,they sent me a confirmation from their location and it said to drop it off at their location, however when I checked out at Redford they told me to drop it off their,which was also confirmed by Westland the next day,I was informed there would be a drop charge if I dropped it in Westland,I was charged for 5 gallons @ about $3.50 a gallon even though I was told when I got back if It wasn't exactly at 7/8 of a tank it could be waived,it cost me an additional $17,it cost me a total of almDOUGLAS BARRY S.

This location was very helpful and friendly. However, when I called the general UHaul number for questions I was on hold for an hour. After an hour I retired calling with another number and got right though- they must have forgotten I was on hold or something. Also, when I went to follow the link to return the UHaul after hours the website was glitching and would not allow me to answer any of the questions to finish the process. I tried with two different phones several times and ways. After sitting in the parking lot for 30 or 40 minutes it was 11:30 pm. Finally got in contact with a roadside assistant to helped us. Make sure your vehicle are ready to run.The 26' truck we rented would not start so we were relegated to another truck which was filthy,head liner was loose and the was such that at 65 mph. it vibrated terrible and the suspension seemed wore out. The truck had 150,000 miles on it and seemed to be in need of some part replacement in the suspension and the steering.KAREN SUE K.

I feel like for what I use the truck it was perfect. When i return it by self check in. One of the question ask about cleanliness of the truck it was the same way as when I got it. I was charged for a gallon of gas at $7.50 after thoroughly explaining logical and reasonable math. I had put in 1.8 gallons of gas and drove 14 miles. So if you add in the gallon i was charged, this would be 2.8 gallons of gas which would imply that the 10 foot truck i used got 5 miles per gallon. I was told that a manger would review and call me, never got a call. I got the bill and sure enough i was charged for the extra gallon of gas. I called and spoke to manager Joe and he said he would credit me back the $7.50. Week or two goes by and still no credit. Had to call again and spoke to Joe again and sounds like now he put in a manual entry to credit me back the $7.50. This is the third time in several months that ive used U-haul, and not once has my process gone smoothly. Typically my truck has not been available and i have been forced to change my plans which has been extremely inconvenient. I dont plan on ever using Uhaul again.ERIK JAMES O.
I dropped the rental off at the Redford location after-hours. I immediately realized I had left my Bose headphones in the vehicle but had already put the key in the drop box. I called the next day at exactly 7am when they opened up to let them know I had left them in the vehicle and my wife would be by within the hour to pick them up. My wife went there and was told they hadn't opened the vehicle yet and they would call her when they did. I called hours later to check the status and was told they didn't see my headphones. I am 100% certain my headphones were in the vehicle and the employee did not return my property intentionally. The headphone were $300 that I can not replace nor should I have to. It is extremely discouraging and frustrating to havey property taken from me.Justin G.

It was a pretty easy process. I like to be able to do things myself rather than going to the counter. Of course you still have to go in to get the key but you don't have to wait in line. The return process was even easier. Uhaul had better prices than every other company I tried.Anita J.
