I wouldn't recommend U-haul to a friend. I dropped vehicle off after hours and i was charged an EXTRA 20.00 even though i went online and completed the check in with the app. Thats a scam. U-haul stole 20.00 from me and i believe im not the only person to experience that. I feel like the class action lawsuit could be HUGERAYMOND DOUGLAS M.

The interior windshield was dirty and was necessary to be cleaned, before using. also the dash board was full of dirt as if it had never been cleaned off. Uhaul needs to take the time and clean the interior of the vehicles to insure safe driving conditions for all.JOHN ALVIN W.

I need a trailer for two days but had to return it I one day and had two go to a different location to get a different trailer from them and the other location called and said that the trailer that I was to get the person never returned it so I had to cancel the trailer for the second day. I was to pick up the truck 1 hour prior to the facility opening. I did not receive an email with lockbox code and the truck was not ready for pickup. Fortunately, an employee came to open the store 1/2 hour early and processed the order.. This put me behind schedule by 1 hour.Angelo B.

We went after hours so we tried logging in to do a virtual drop off. This was frustrating because even though we turned on our location the website could not read our location. We then tried to call and could not get through to a live person. Tried to do location multiple times on 2 different phones and finally just dropped the keys in the drop box. This was not an issue with the drop-off location, just with uhaul in general.RICHARD ROSS W.

I have rented a car dolly for 1-2 two days for moving my car to home in Gulfport. I see that online I can rent for 2 days that's for below $80. Then I visited inkster property to confirm the price. Representative told me, he will hold full amount as security for 5 days but you will not be charged full price if you drop in two days, the cost will adjust accordingly. I don't see that happening. I have dropped next day at Gulfport. The passenger side strap was getting loose quickly and it's seems not safe. Your representative not told me or helped me to put the chains on my car. After 100 miles I have been told my friend there should be a chain connected to the car for extra safety. Fortunately nothing happened and I did that job after 100 milesRAJESH P.

I rented a 10ft truck. To move my mother's apt. She just died days ago. I rented the truck for 24hrs. Returned it 7 hours later. With more gas than I got it with and was charged $20 for not checking in when I dropped it off. When I called. Ethan was very rude when I asked to talk to a manager. Im not happy about my experience at all. I always use this location everytime I need a truck and have never had a problem. Until now!Denise L.

Did not acknowledge that was injured when opening up the trailer the door it smashed my hand between the door and the trailer.AARON S.
We usually have no issue with this location but this time the equipment was filthy inside and the tires were in very bad shape. If we had not been 4 hrs away we would have called for a replacement. You could give me some money off my bill since I returned the truck with half a tank of gas more then I was supposed to. You could not charge me for things I didn't use or even ask for those things to be in the truck. The dolly was never used just in the way and ended up getting hit so that little green band broke indicating I used when in fact i didn't it got bumped by a couch and I got charged as if I used it... over all very unsatisfiedTrevor K.

They were the only location in my area that had an available 15' truck when I needed it,the reservation was mad through the Westland storage location,they sent me a confirmation from their location and it said to drop it off at their location, however when I checked out at Redford they told me to drop it off their,which was also confirmed by Westland the next day,I was informed there would be a drop charge if I dropped it in Westland,I was charged for 5 gallons @ about $3.50 a gallon even though I was told when I got back if It wasn't exactly at 7/8 of a tank it could be waived,it cost me an additional $17,it cost me a total of almDOUGLAS BARRY S.

This location was very helpful and friendly. However, when I called the general UHaul number for questions I was on hold for an hour. After an hour I retired calling with another number and got right though- they must have forgotten I was on hold or something. Also, when I went to follow the link to return the UHaul after hours the website was glitching and would not allow me to answer any of the questions to finish the process. I tried with two different phones several times and ways. After sitting in the parking lot for 30 or 40 minutes it was 11:30 pm. Finally got in contact with a roadside assistant to helped us. Make sure your vehicle are ready to run.The 26' truck we rented would not start so we were relegated to another truck which was filthy,head liner was loose and the was such that at 65 mph. it vibrated terrible and the suspension seemed wore out. I feel like for what I use the truck it was perfect. When i return it by self check in. One of the question ask about cleanliness of the truck it was the same way as when I got it. I guess I am saying it should have been clean when I picked it up. If you wanted it clean when I brought it back. The outside of the truck was less than cleanCLARENCE W.
