Price rate per mile was a bit expensive. Communication between staff members needs lots of improvement. Also if there's items that you're paying for your U haul staff members should make Sure that you have it in your van or it's in your possession before you leave.MARVIN A.

The online check out process was terrible - the photo page for the drivers license didn't work and we had to go inside to pick up our reservation. Even after getting assistance from the representative at the location, every page she tried to send me to continued to have errors. Whole experience was good. From people at computers, to my hitch installer, to pickup rental experience. Equipment new/well maintained, no problems. App and website reservations need some tweaks, but UHaul tech okay, too. ThanksPETER V.

Uhaul online and on phone is awful! I was able to reserve 2 ubox and a DOUBLE trailer, only to find on moving day that they had not had a double trailer for months. This delayed my move by a week, forced the move helpers to reschedule at the last minute, and cost me $1600 in additional rent. Subsequently I went on line and was able to reserve 2 uboxes at Uhaul Belmont, but then called them and found out they don't even rent uboxes at that location!BRYAN L.
Truck availability: Had reserved a more than a week a head and still had to wait three days for a truck less than 50 miles away. Then had to drive 15 miles to return truck even though there was a Uhaul less than 2 miles from my location.Kenneth B.

Mobile pick up did not work and took the customer service 3 vans before getting me one I was able to use. When trying to find assistance it was hard to find someone sitting at the desk and one of the people I approach denied there being an issue until someone else came to help. was told by two representatives I spoke with a cash deposit of $100 for a 10 foot truck was acceptable upon pick up. That was not the case when I got there. Had to bother a friend for their credit card because the store wouldn't accept the cash deposit I was told was okay to useMARTIN M.
When i returned my rental 5x8 enclosed trailer i told the lady inside that im here to return my rental trailer can someone help me cause no one was outside maybe since that was close to 7pm. Reserved a bottom floor unit, and the website showed me that there was one available. Got to the store to see the unit and had to wait a really long time for someone to even come to the counter, then was told that there were no more bottom floor units. I had just moved here so I didn’t really have time to look for another storage unit on the spot ( which was probably a huge mistake) and decided that this would have to do. I had auto-pay set up, and even got emailed receipts, and after having just paid rent, I got a notice that our rent had not been paid and was told our unit’s lock had been removed and a notice placed there as well. I had to go to the store and show the email to have that taken care of, only to find out they had lost my original lock, so I had to get another one. When we finally got a new unit somewhere else, I noticed that there were water marks on some of our things that weren’t there before, so something had to have leaked or sprayed onto our things. I’m glad we were able to have at least some kind of storage for the time being, and for what it’s worth, it was secure and nothing was stolen or damaged. The employees, when there is one available, are very friendly. Not super happy but it wasn’t the worst possible experience.Miki H. | Overall Experience

The instructions were great, and staff was friendly. The unit was clean enough, but we did have to pick up dinner trash and hammer down a few staples that were dangerously sticking out. The most important part was that our unit did not measure 8' by 6' which was absolutely surprising. It was 7.5' by 5.25' which made a huge difference for us. We packed up an 8x6 area at home to figure it out, and when we showed up, the unit was noticeably smaller than advertised! Hey there. Please give me a call when you get a moment. My rep Jailin was doing her best but she was ill, sneezing (yipes with Covid), and exhausted when she helped me this afternoon. I was promised an 8x8 unit and rolled in with a moving van and auto transporter, 1 way reservation. I had to get the car off myself, outside the lot because it was so hectic and understaffed inside the gates. And in the end... (cue the sad muzak), the storage unit I was promised was double booked. I drove for 2 days, had follow up calls confirming the unit was available just to find out I couldn't store my stuff at this location once I arrived. I'm going to use the remaining days of the use of the moving van but am very nervous about what comes after that. Please, if you would, call me so we can discuss my plan B for where to store my belongings if I run out of time. P.S. I know covid has wreaked havoc on communication and software systems and therefore not everyone has the best and latest information, but it had a severe negative effect on me during a major move in my life.
