Pick-up using the app was so slow that it was faster to give up after 15 minutes of waiting for verification and walk inside to be dispatched. Van smelled strongly of cigarette smoke inside.

Moving blankets which I reserved were not available. Picking up the truck using my phone was more of a hassle than going to the counter--much of what I had to input could and should have been asked for ahead of time (photo of my license, number of a backup person or passport or lease).

Pro: Employee was helpful in shifting schedules to allow for use of 15 ft truck, when initially unavailable. Con: Replaced 5 gallons of fuel to level I received truck with, but was still charged for an additional 3.

When I went to pick up the truck, personal was polite and courteous but not informative at all. When getting truck, I was informed that the pads I reserved were not available and got nothing but sorry sir. I had also rented a dolly and was not informed I needed to go get it and put it in the truck. When I got to my house to load the truck I realized there was no dolly and had to go back to the rental location. I also was not informed of the refueling requirements, just knew I had to put gas in the truck to the same level I departed the facility with.

The two individuals working on Saturday September 14th at the El Camino location in Redwood City were absolutely horrible in terms of customer service. I haven't experienced that level of callousness and incompetence in any customer service experience as far as I can remember. They should find other work if they so clearly hate their jobs to the point that they resent interacting with customer. That they both are still working there can ultimately only be a reflection on the management running the place.

Clean the outside of the windows. Also, make sure wipers are in good shape and don't cause streaks when needing to use them mid transit.

Next time please make sure let customer know you have a $20 overnight drop off fee. I was not informed.

Your app does not work at all. Cant find my res, cant look up and add my res using the order number, buttons in the app just do nothing. It would be nice to be able to pick up using the app. The website works fine though, so maybe you should just scrap the app.

I'm putting "No", for clean. It was clean, but some oil, cleanser, etc., left a very slippery surface throughout the van. This oil, conditioner, cleanser, shiner, got tracked on all surfaces. Garage, wooden floors, cement, causing slippery surfaces. Not kidding, even the cat slid into a wall. As far as, danger getting in and out of truck and shoe sliding off brake pedal, we were just moments short of an accident. Returning vehicle, your employee knew right away and had apparently answered this concern before. Your crew is great, but had to put a negative to get someone to read this. If this is common, then "poor" has to be the response for U-haul not addressing this.

I was wonder why they hold me $10.93 and still not refund after 4 days. I got a reminder call from them when my boxes arrived. I haven’t been to there since moving helpers picked boxes for me.

Lines were long when I returned my trailer. Employees were not able to handle my situation when my Ubox did not get delivered on time, so they gave me the business card of someone to call. Poor.

I had called in and explained my needs. The unit they reserved for me did not even come close, and they had no units that could work. As a result, I lost hundreds of dollars worth of furniture.

Rates are reasonable and the package(Uhaul box) was delivered on time without any damage. I also went with third party moving help provided through uhaul website. Overall good.

The staff at RC facility are amazing. They handle so many people's needs very efficiently + a very friendly manner. Transferring stuff < a U-box > to a smaller unit was tough but doable w their help

The Redwood City U-Haul staff had minimal training on their own software. It took multiple phone calls to get basic information about my UBox, and I was transferred over and over without explanation.

In general, very satisfied with the care taken to my belongings. However, communications between storage facilities and customers should be streamlined (I was called many times).

Unit was easy to access w/ personal card. Website stated that the facility had 24-hour access, but is only open when the front desk is open. Unit roofing was loose, but tricky to access.

The dropoff spot in Redwood City was severely understaffed on Saturday. There was a long line at the desk and only three highly-stressed employees on duty. More staff would have benefitted everyone.

Our Ubox did not arrive at the Uhaul destination .The General Manager in Redwood city Nicholas was very accomadating, he took care of our box, truck and dolly. We recommend Uhaul thanks to Nicholas!

-They hold on to rent checks too long before depositing them -I was called and told that since I moved out on the beginning of the month they'd destroy my payment, but it cleared, now I await a refund
