I did not appreciate being scolded by a young lady who assumed that I drove in to return my equipment (a utility trailer), the wrong direction. the correct entrance was blocked by another car and another employee waved me to go around the back. Additionally the same young lady wanted me to back my trailer into "the spot you got it from" even after I explained that I was not proficient backing up with the trailer. Your employees at that location are young and inexperienced. I had to remind the teenager who attacked the trailer to put more twists in the security chains so that they would not drag on the ground. He isn't understand and twisted the opposite one until I pointed out that there was one hanging down to the ground. This is a safety hazard due to possible sparking. There was no one to supervise this inexperienced employee or to check his work. They all stayed in the office.Ellen K.

Tons of construction going on around this site. Gravel dust everywhere. When it's done I'm sure all will be great, but currently, not so great. There is a small mobile trailer to rent out of and barely enough staff. (I was only one there initially, but still had to wait a bit longer that I'd have thought, just to find someone who acknowledged to me that they worked there.)Tom P.

The app needs photos to go along with the instructions. Instructions were not clear and chat help only repeated the same unhelpful language in the application. I spent 30 minutes finding the truck number. If it was not for other customers on the lot helping I would not have been successful getting the truck. There was no employee to help, and my truck was wedged in between two other trucks. The lot appeared to be in the middle of construction. Would not do the rental via application again unless there are improvements.Michael B.

Front desk girl was friendly. Reserved dolly and furniture movers were not available. Had to wander around the lot for a minute to find the vehicle. Vehicle was dirty on the outside. Windshield in particular. Interior was clean. Vehicle did what I needed it to Not a terrible experience, but I will try somewhere else next time.Dan E.
Location had no utility dolly's, hand trucks, or moving blankets. I did an advanced online reservation for all of these items and was completely let down by your company. Other customers present were also complaining about the lack of equipment. Due to your company's poor allocation of equipment, I had to rent the needed additional equipment elsewhere which cost me extra time and money. It didn't help that the employees showed no concern. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with your company.David L.

The person at the counter was extremely friendly, professional and overall very helpful. My problem was getting to, and on, the grounds to rent and return the truck. Backing he 26 ft truck was difficult and it was almost impossible for me to make the sharp turn getting back into the drop off location. The driveway from the road and the rental lot was also under construction that caused some problems.Bolita L.

Computers were down. But staff were able to rent the trailer using a cell phone. Great service. Equipment worked without a problem. Which has not always been my experience. Broke down in Barstow in 110 degree weather last time.Linda S.

After a bad experience at another U-Haul location (I reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance, arrived at the designated time to pick it up and they did not have a truck for me), I was directed to another U-Haul location. I arrived with a bit of an 'attitude' and probably not easy to work with- The Manager, Shannon, changed my mood quickly. She understood my angst. She was warm, friendly, accommodating, and professional- She was wonderful to work with- I was delighted with U-Haul Moving & Storage of Roseville. I will only rent again with Shannon!Dwight C.
The basic customer service was- lacking. The employee didn't seem to like dealing with people, at all. Avoided giving basic instructions (like where the U-Haul is parked on the lot!) and seemed generally put out by having to be there. We know most places are short staffed these days, but you can still do better.Erin A.

I have reservations in recommending this location as I believe that they did not accurately "hare the right amount of mileage. They claim we drove 50 miles and I don't believe that was accurate. Also on the truck just written $19.95 free mileage. But they charge 1.20 pre mile.Richard M.

The girl was really rude on my receipt the prices are different from what I was quoted the beginning it says I didn't pay any money I did pay money up front prices are wrong and I'm very unsatisfied very upset about this transaction . One more thing I was 3 hours late bringing the truck backDarren R.
Two Issues: 1) The girl that did my transaction did not have a good attitude. Since I was driving nearly 1000 miles one-way, I asked if I could get the lowest mileage truck possible. She said, No, I can't choose, but that all of their long distance trucks were low mileage. Once I got into the truck to drive away, I saw that it had over 100,000 miles! Thanks a lot. I was on edge the whole way worried if it would make it up the next hill. 2) Two days after getting my rental, I received a fraud alert from my credit card company. They had stopped payment on a $7197 fraudulent charge to U-Haul on the very card I used to rent the truck (the rental charge was far less and a separate transaction). In other words, my credit card number was stollen and used to charge a big fraudulent fee after my rental. My card was cancelled and I have to deal with the headaches of getting a new one. The truck was clean. Unfortunately someone smoked in the truck which you couldn't tell until you used the air conditioner. It was very strong only when the air was on. Unfortunately it had to be on as it was in the 90's. But the store wouldn't have known that without using the air themselves.Denice K.
They charged me an extra day because the pick up location checked me in before I even arrived to get my truck at my original check in time. The pick up location said I would not be charged but the drop off location charged me $40 for an extra day even though I didn't have the truck for an extra day.Selena P.

Absolutely zero hassle and quick in and out for a trailer rental. Additionally, I commend the U-Haul family as I apparently made an incorrect entry during my reservation, asking for an open trailer. Since the original site did not have an enclosed trailer, they happily went online, reserved a closed trailer from another u-haul location and cancelled my reservation at no fee to me.Doug M.
