Dennis UMy initial experience renting two storage units was outstanding. Sara was who I worked with. Beyond expectation. Easy account set up and paperwork. She went out of her way to streamline the process in no time. Enough so, I just rented 2 MORE storage units recently and had help renting a truck to move in. It was easy-peasy. I have already had several opportunities to recommend this location. A+ That and Shawn also helped me with renting the truck.. He was great too!
DAVID LI would not recommend any one-way service from u-haul again. The entire experience was terrible and a scam. U-haul lead you to believe that the service of a one-pick up and drop off is easy but it truly terrible.
SEAN FYour mobile app sucks. I went through the entire process for mobile check-in twice, including the night before and I still had to wait in line at the counter, only to have to provide all of the same information again.

LORIANNE SThere needs to be a more expedited process to pick ip the way. Even with mobile pick up it was a waste of time as I had to go into the office and finish pick up. I don’t know if you’re understaffed at the location we picked up at but the staff could have been a lot more friendlier. Overall task to pick up truck was accomplished but I’ve been to plenty of other locations with a lot more professional customer experience and from a younger generation.

ROBERT JThis was a terrible experience. My reservation was for a location within a mile from my home. I was notified via text the day before that the location had changed to foothills. The morning of my pick up I arrived at foothills just to be notified that now my pick up Would be at Willis Avenue, which is over 5 miles away from my house. This then caused almost 11 more miles that I had to pay for because you changed my reservation. What a scam. The app was not working correctly, which caused me to be 45 minutes late picking up my reservation because I had to call the Helpdesk Who had to adjust something in the reservation. The app asked me to take pictures of the van before I took it which I did three times none of which would upload into the app so I’m not even sure you got the pictures. I’m not happy with this entire experience.
Lisa DPicked up U-Haul then the move was cancelled so we never used the truck. It traveled no more than 5 miles. Would be nice to be able to return if within a 2 hour period after pickup.

He made the whole process quick and easy, which I really appreciated. It’s not often you get customer service this good. Thanks, Curtis! I definitely recommend this location.
Juan HMy experience during a hitch install, wiring harness installation, and trailer rental (three separate events) was outstanding. The General Manager, Sara was at the store all three days and performed her duties flawlessly. She was personable and professional. Carlos, the hitch installation specialist, was excellent. He was highly knowledgeable, efficient and amiable. Upon returning my trailer I was met by Curtis who was welcoming and completed the check-in process in a very timely manner. All three of these individuals demonstrated a genuine commitment in meeting all of my needs. Well done!

John EMost everything was fine when we left California. That ALL changed when we got to our destination. On gut feeling; called the # I was given of place that was supposed to bring pods; they weren’t aware of ANYTHING and had no info. I called location at Wills rd Roseville ca. Most everyone was trying to blow it off on the next person. Turns out the place that was supposedly going to deliver has no connection to U-Haul anymore for over a year! They don’t know how it even got scheduled or a confirmation number! So after multiple ANNYOING phone calls; the Knoxville Tn location that had the pods said oh, your not deep in the woods ; your right there in town. We will get your pods too you after all! So 2 days later than original legal (and not legal) agreement was made . I will leave the delivery driver name out, but , the pods were not put where I wanted; which made emptying them very difficult.I have been certified and have years outdoors and indoors experience in forklifts! The driver wouldn’t even try to take the requested path of spot I wanted the pods at. I can’t prove the forklift would or would not have made it. But the driver was nice and well mannered for sure. And the driver also agreed that I had every right to be pissed off at the whole situation of getting the pods delivered to my new home from Knoxville location in the first place. U haul from Wills rd Roseville Ca has damaged the U-Haul name. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Kudos to owner operator of Knoxville moving company’s Owner Operator for his help with this whole ridiculous situation. He helped me when he did even have to. I should get refunded the cost for home delivery for the HELL I went through trying to get my stuff!

GRIGORIY SU-Haul refused to prorate rent that I had already paid for a unit that I moved out of, but paid for completely through the month. As such, I am not going to be using U-Haul for any of my moving or storage services moving forward. When I had previously used them for the past 20 years.

GEORGE KThe gas level on my rental contract didn’t reflect the levels that were present in my rental vehicle. It makes more sense for customers to sign the rental contract AFTER having inspected the rental vehicle, not before like I had too. Ultimately, I ended up overpaying for gas. Next time I will not let this happen. This situation was very disappointing. I plan on warning my friends and family about this oversight if they ever decide to rent from you guys in the future.

AMPARO OLocation and service at reservation was great. Return was horrible!!! NOBODY had told us there was a $25 charge if all moving blankets were not folded!!!! At reservation (1 day prior to truck pick-up) i inquired about moving blankets. I was given a price for a pack of 6 blankets AND NO ADDITIONAL INFO!! I ordered 6 packs.....a total of 36 blankets! When I returned the truck (with blankets stacked in back of truck) I was then told about the $25 charge!!! NOBODY AT ANY TIME EVER MENTIONED A FEE FOR UNFOLDED BLANKETS!!!! i AM ASSUMING THAT THE BLANKETS WILL BE WASHED AND REPACKAGED???? SO WHY THE UPCHARGE FOR UNFOLDED BLANKETS!!! It Appears to be a hidden cost that makes UHAUL look like a small cheap company that upcharges ppl for an additional cost. THE POINT HERE IS IF INFORMED OF THE BLANKETS PRIOR TO RENTING I WOULD KNOW MY RESPONSABILITIES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES!!! Sorry UHAUL, I'll take my business elsewhere where I can get honest service and no upselling!!!

When police try to get video footage etc, the management refuses to help. I see people piggyback in on people, and doors not locked during business hours. When the alarms are tripped, they are turned off I assume by staff. You claim to sell safe storage units, not even close. You should be shut down for false advertising and failing to provide what you are selling. This place is a f-ing joke. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

However, she was tremendous help she was quick, she was kind, and she went out of her way to show me where my storage was when there was a line out the door. She was very accommodating and willing to help me in case I didn’t get the right size storage which was super nice. I’m very happy with my experience here so far.

Upon arrival one male staff member walks away. I talk to one of the female staff member as to where I need to go to get to the storage, she gets smart with me as to where I needed to go, doesn't even give a tour as I seen other people being shown where to go. She tells me if I exit one entrance and go to the left another entrance goes to the storage, I had no idea, as a first time experience here, it wasn't too great, but I had found my storage unit and was at ease, but in the customer service side I'm very upset and I guess I'll just figure it out on my own .
