The staff was very uncommunicative. After I was told I could leave, entered the van and it wreaked of marijuana. Found an open box of cigarettes which may have added to the smell. It was dirty, not swept clean, and I reported both of these things upon return of the vehicle. Again at return, the staff said nothing when I walked in until I apparently looked co fused as to why it was so quiet. It’s a convenient location so I’ll probably use it again but will plan ahead for being the first one to talk to the staff.

I’m very disappointed. My experience was terrible. They need to be more knowledgeable about there prices and the General manager needs to work on customer service #1 and overall computer system and rates/prices. And me having to call customer service and file formal complaint to get this issue resolve about my deposit of 100 dollars and general manager failed to call me within 3 business days and me having to call customer service again to try and resolve the issue. **Its very concerning to me because I gave a total of Almost 300 dollars but the receipt that they emailed me never said I gave a 100 dollar deposit** i didn’t like this experience at all especially from the general manager their was dishonesty in this situation. I hope you guys look into their work ethic

They didn't approve or update my contact information, so my rental receipt and reservation notice went to my boss from two years ago. It was pretty awkward and she thought I was trying to charge my uhaul to her company account. I mentioned that the contact info was wrong to the workers but they didn't really acknowledge or address the issue. The guy who helped with the equipment was great but the other staff member seemed confused and untrained.

The paint it the back of the truck was still sticky though not completely wet it did cause some added difficulty as our items kept getting stuck. Other than that the service was great!

The trailer had a very strong smell of cigarettes. I was moving brand new leather seats so I had to take the trailer to the car wash and wash the inside before I could use it. Then when I went to drop it off the place was out of business. I had to call and find a new place and drive the trailer another 10 miles to the next town.

This location was not as buttoned up as where I picked up the truck. I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come over to the equipment drop off & take the truck from me. Then 3 days later I got a call from this location asking when I was going to return the truck. I was like I already returned it. Turns out the person who took the truck from me didn't check it in.

They worked with me on lowering a deposit hold so i could tow my motorcycle home with limited remaining funds on my credit card. I only had to go7 miles round trip and they helped...excellent service!

CSR did not go over any steps of the rental. He did not tell me to check the mileage and so because I didn't, I was charged for driving 71 miles when I only drove 9 miles. When I was asked if I'd like a printed receipt or an emailed receipt I replied, "I'd like to see the charges before you run my card." The employee did not listen to me and was on the phone with someone else when he ran my card and printed my receipt. I looked at the receipt and realized I was over charged. Because it was the end of the day and multiple people were in line returning vehicles he told me there was nothing to be done and sent me home saying I would be contacted by the general manager the next day. The next day the general manager did not call me so I called her. She was rude and unhelpful. She said she was not at work and couldn't help me. I was lied to and robbed by this location. I will never use Uhaul again and discourage all I know from using this location. There were several other people in line that were having issues with their rentals as well. The fact the these employees are so unwilling to help is astounding. The only help I received was from a Customer service agent from the corporate office. She is doing her best to help me. Still haven't received a refund. This place is very unprofessional

I was charged twice for wardrobe boxes. I orderd them online, when I went to the place I was told to pick up the trailer, they didn't have it, so I went to another location. Then when I got there, I told them I purchased wardrobe boxes online. They said they couldn't see that, and I had to purchase them again. They said if I was double charged to show them and I would be reimbursed, so I did, but then they said they couldn't do it, only a manager could. Oh well, wasted my time and lost some money.

The customer service rep was courteous and set me up with a truck in no time. He asked me if I have rented a truck with U-Haul and if I was familiar with the process and I confirmed that I did. He then asked if I had any other questions or concerns very politely but professionally. He had me out the door in 15 mins or less and was very efficient with the sale. My experience was A+

The young guy working the counter was by himself on a busy holiday weekend, someone called out "sick" on Labor Day. He handled a long line of people efficiently, professionally and with a smile. Hard to find good people these days. Make sure you hang on to him!

My family has been using U-Haul for years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. We give a 2-3 week notice that we will need a 26 foot truck. The truck they gave me had the brake alarm going off non-stop. I go back and the guy literally says "Oh it's still doing that?" And proceeds to say "It's probably just a bare wire touching the frame, nothing is wrong with the truck don't worry". And the lady who I assume is the manager said "Just call roadside assistance when you get to your apartment and they can come out and look at it if you're still worried". What the hell? I gave 2-3 weeks notice and they give me a truck that they KNOW has a problem and want me to call roadside to come out at my convenience. So we get to the apartment and call roadside and it turns out the alarm was going off because it was LEAKING BRAKE FLUID. There was literally a puddle of brake fluid under the truck and the guy said if we took that truck it would have ran out of brake fluid. The alarm was going off because it was so low on brake fluid yet no one at U-Haul managed to catch that? They gave me a truck that would have ran out of fluid on our 400 mile trip! At first he didn't know if he would be able to fix it and said we might need to use another truck (at this point we had the 26 foot truck completely loaded) but thankfully the roadside assistance guy was really helpful and managed to change the master cylinder that was causing the leak, but at the cost of us having to leave a day later. The funny thing is that the UHaul people there did not want to give us any extra time to get to Lubbock and said we should have enough time as it is! We finally got some extra time added but no apology for the truck or anything. Worst experience I've ever had and everyone who knew there was a problem with that truck should be fired for risking the lives of others.

Once I arrived the clerk could not find my previous reservation, she called it a contract and then her system wouldn't take my debt card she stated they had been having problems all day. If that was the case why not call the IT department. She wasn't able to take payment by card I had to leave and get $100.00 cash for a deposit per Keith her team leader who was telling her what to do by e-mail. It was an inconvenience for me because I had the movers waiting for me to bring the truck back. I lost about an hour in time. Once I got the truck to my location I ordered a regular dolly and a utility dolly and there was only a utility dolly on the truck. This was not a smooth transition very disappointed in service. I made an online reservation for a 6'x12' utility trailer with a ramp. Upon arrival, no trailer was available and was told I shouldn't have been able to make such a reservation. After waiting 45 minutes for the staff to check with "routing/logistics" to determine where the trailer might be, I had to ask what was going to be done since I had a reservation. Only then did a staff memeber get online and make another reservation, at another location for the same type of trailer. After confirming the new reservation and having had to spend an hour to make the same, I proceeded to the next location. Due to having had a reservation for a trailer that wasn't available at the confirmed location, I called the new location to confirm that the same. I provided the new reservation number and was informed that the trailer was indeed there and awaiting my arrival. Upon arriving at the new location, with a new confirmation and having been informed that the reserves trailer was there, I then discovered that the trailer I had reserved TWICE, was not at the new location. The staff member at the new location explained that my call must have gone to the "call center" as the local phone had been switched over to the "call center". I would note that this was at least 45 minutes prior to that locations posted closing time. Having now made two separate confirmations, at two different locations AND being told by an employee the reserved trailer was "awaiting my arrival" at the second location, and having now spent nearly two hours attempting to pick up a trailer that should have only taken possibly 20 minutes to accomplish, and lastly, being delayed to accomplish my own task for which the trailer was required, I had to settle for a different trailer. Without the ramp, the task required was significantly more difficult and time consoling. I have used U-Haul several times in the past with much satisfaction. However, while this being a single event, the time, effort, and ultimate cost will make me think twice about using U-Haul again. We have an estate sale business and regularly use trailers / trucks.

I showed up to my scheduled pick up location on Burnet Rd and they sent me to the Rundberg location because they didn't have the size trailer I needed at Burnet Rd. I was not given an email or any notification of this beforehand. Also, the trailer was equipped with a 4-way electrical plug-in. Adapters should be provided because 4-ways are outdated. It seemed like I was getting nickel-and-dimed just as I expected would be the case.

Was presented a vehicle without full tank of gas. Drove 8 miles and added $5.00 for gas, or 2.465 gallons, as MPG is unknown to me. Upon return, tank is full. You people show rent vehicles with full tank of gas, or make credit adjustments to those who over spend on estimating gas usage during their rental period because tank is not full at beginning of rental.

Canopy return area should be actively monitored. I was required to go to office and no one went through return with me.

Al tomar la camioneta no chequeé las millas iniciales (era la primera vez, y en los coches de alquiler no se paga por millas) y al entregarla en lugar de 85 millas, que hice, aparecía 185, dado que la cifra inicial era erronea. Ante mi reclamación la encargada la tuvo en cuenta y sólo me cobró las 85, que realmente había efectuado. ATENCION: chequear las millas iniciales!!!! Agradecido de la atención recibida. We had booked the UHaul with pickup time at 12 pm. We got a call that the Truck is not available and will be available at 6:00 pm. We had to wait unnecessarily for 6 hours, by that time the storage unit where we were supposed to move stuff was closing. It was lot of hassle to have the storage unit open. We also did not get the truck from the location we had selected. We had the pick the truck from a location far away so had the pay extra money for the extra miles that we drove the pick and drop the truck. We were extremely tired, as we had to drive back to our town. We wasted 6 hours and got home late in the night (2:00 am) and tired.

I think I was overcharged and nobody has called me about it. I called customer service today and was on hold for over 20 minutes and never spoke to customer service. I finally called the reservations and demanded to talk to a manager who is very nice and tried to help me out it wasn't sure why I was charged as much as I was. I would like for customer service to please call me as soon as possible to resolve this. Thank you

I had never used the online option of picking up a vehicle, so I was a little confused. I also tried to contact someone to let uhaul know I would be late, but couldn't find anything but an email to notify online someone. Instead I was charged for two rental charges. The timing was my fault, however. All else was good.

As a customer rent one of your truck the employees can slow down and explain the rate and coast also if they could due a walk with customer and letting us know where kind of flue the truck or a simple talk . i think that would help out every one also your location rush to fast on some renting a vicheal .

All employees need to be trained on how to deal with uboxes. It took two hours for me to receive my box and for it to be hooked up. They couldn't find my reservation despite calling several times to confirm and place it. After-hour drop off rules are unclear. I wasn't even charged until a day or two after I had either dropped off or picked up my boxes despite trying to pay in store. Very very frustrating overall.

Find a way to keep equipment from being double booked. If it does end up being double booked give more then a few hours notice. Ensure that the equipment I reserved is ready to go at the time I reserved it. Ensure that the trailer rented to the customer is actually rated to tow the vehicle on it so other customer do not have blow outs and endanger other travelers. I have always chosen uhaul for my last 9 years of moving (army). I have never had such a poor experience. Also make sure the techs running the black top understand how to use the equipment. I spent 25 min of my pickup teach and young man how to hook up your trailers and use ratchet straps.

The counter agent Angel was very helpful and fast making it a very smooth and pleasant experience.. The interiors were not as pleasant, very bad smell, garbage on the floor in-between units as well as around the loading dock..

Didn't have all the equipment I requested available, truck smelled heavy of cigarate smoke and then they gave me a ridiculous fuel charge at the end after worst cause I under-estimated how much gas I put in by half a gallon at most. I think they purposely under fill gas tanks to either get you to refuel greater than what they give you or charge you $15 For half a gallon. Never going to use these guys again and will make sure nobody I know does either.

First, let me start off by saying that I am partially responsible for the problem I had with this rental. I work for NYOS Charter School in North Austin. We have a corporate account ( #744599227465). Apparently, I did not follow the correct protocol of scheduling a truck rental. I called the Rundberg UHAUL directly, instead of logging on to our corporate account. I was asked for a credit card number to reserve the truck, and gave them my personal card #, which I explained was my personal card and expected the charges to be applied to our school account. To which the reply was" OK that's fine" . So, I used the truck and returned it within two hours, just under 14 miles, and $10 of gasoline later. Mileage and gas tank verified, I received a receipt for right around $52.00, Again, I reiterated that the payment should come from our "corporate account", to which the response was "Yes, that's what I'm doing". I take the receipt and drive away. This morning (one day later), my phone beeps with an alert saying that my checking account is overdrawn. I check it out, and it's from a UHAUL charge for $71.65 on my personal account. I have called the Rundberg location several times asking to speak with Veronica, the person I dealt with, and left two messages about calling me back. As of yet....no reply. I had originally booked the trailer at a location close to where I live. The trailer location got moved to another location. When I arrived at that location to get the trailer, the trailer there had wheels that were locking up. I got sent to another location for another trailer. The woman who hooked up the trailer didn't bother to hook up the safety chains properly (weren't actually hooked up, just run thru my loops) although the desk women were nice. Halfway through my trip, I had to repair the trailer wiring as the lights went out while driving at night due to severely worn wiring. These places need to step up their inspections so we can get a trailer when and where it's guaranteed - especially for the price we paid.

My wife and I recently moved, and chose to rent our moving truck from this uhaul location. They were rather busy when we walked through the door, but despite the line of customers we were warmly greeted and told they'd be right with us. There were four employees working that day and all were young, very polite, caring and intelligent individuals. The process was so fast, once we were up, it took less than five minutes to get out the door and on our way with the rental truck. From there we hit bad luck one after another dealing with the storage place we had already paid for. This uhaul location was not just helpful, but incredibly understanding of our unfortunate circumstances and offered assistance they didn't have to. Upon returning the rental truck, we met three different employees, one of which was the GM (Veronica L.). We've always heard horror stories of returning rental trucks and not getting deposits back or charged additional fees for this and that, but it was the exact opposite. In fact, Veronica refunded money for the miles we didn't use on top of our deposit which was a complete surprise! I not only will recommend this shop to family and friends, but I'll bend the ear of any stranger I cross to sing my praises of Veronica and her kind, caring and professional staff. We encountered 7 of her employees and can't say enough good things about how great our experience was there. Amongst all our misfortune that day and the next, Veronica and her staff made our situation feel not as bad and overwhelming as it was. Thanks Veronica!!

The site had employees who quit recently, leaving it short staffed. I was charged for fuel due to a mis-read by the receiving employee. I thought I was going to have a tough time correcting error. Although the staff person was juggling several customers, she was courteous and took time to make sure my account was correct. Kudos on customer service, but staffing issues may lead to errors. Jury is out on whether I would recommend location or not. I will try again in the future to see.

you can improve service by employing staff that represents the company in a positive way. I don't expect to be yelled at by any personnel...yet alone after a day of moving. I find it unnerving that your staff cannot handle simple mathematics...not even mathmatics just common sense. I have been doing business at this and other stores for over a year now and was always allowed to pick up before 7 and drop off after 7 as long as before the am and not billed the extra day. I was billed an extra, I called in and did not get a return phone call.

The manager hooked my vehicle on trailer wrong. She apparently didn't know how to use straps and chained my vehicle back end to a shock. I was close to losing my vehicle. The uhaul dealer in Hillsboro, Texas couldn't believe how she hooked my vehicle. They corrected the problem and I had a safe trip. Lucky I didnt have an accident and anybody would have gotten injured or killed.

The staff is great. But the truck was not running very well. There is a transmission problem or something. When you are slowing down and the truck needs to downshift, it does so very abruptly and with a real jerk. It is literally as if you have hit the brakes. But you haven't..... It is the truck shifting down way too fast all by itself and really needs to be addressed before the truck goes out again. Thanks!
