I didn't find the lockbox to return the keys after hours. I tried for 30 minutes and couldn't find it. It should be clearer where to find it or have instructions available to do so.

I was charged an extra $35 because I went over 30 miles because I was told I had to return the vehicle transport to a different location when the had some already where I returned the U-Haul

I booked a truck close to my loading location. Uhaul changed my pick up location twice without checking with me and being 30 miles away. My total original mileage was 32 miles. I called uhaul and asked for more mileage. They agree to 40 miles only. The man said there was nothing else he could do.

This place is awful and the customer rep wants to phsycially fight you, if you tell him how bad he is at his job. I should have fought him instead of paying the bill for the rental.

I found that the hood latch on the truck was loose so the hood would bounce the entire drive but I reported that to the receiving location and hopefully the vehicle will be tagged out for repair. Other than that it was quick and efficient to check the vehicle back in

You should at least check the windshield wipers on the vehicles - especially sitting out 100+ degree weather for weeks on end. It began raining during the move and the wipers were so old that they would not clear the water. Plus the windows were so dirty that it simply smeared a thin layer of mud over the window while we were driving. Very unsafe.

We moved from Atlanta GA to Austin TX. Atlanta staff communicated very well and were on schedule per estimated timeline. Austin staff was a mess. We were promised a "guaranteed" delivery date with truck delivery to our address. I was told that the "guaranteed" date is not a guarantee and that delivery would be scheduled earliest 4 days after estimated guaranteed date. Shipping coordinator manager worked with me to arrange a 3rd party to deliver on the guarantee delivery date but the mixup caused a lot of stress. We took time off work and were forced to make an unplanned emergency drive to receive the box as we were told the previous day that the box would not deliver on agreed date. Manager says the "guarantee" delivery date provided by U-Haul is not the actual delivery and is misleading. U-Box FAQ says the delivery timeline is guaranteed.

I will not be using uhaul and will tell my loved ones to no longer use we have been costumers for years... I had never had a problem until now I went to rent a pickup truck to move a few of my belongings from there storage when I went to return the truck there was a guy who was the manager that claimed his name was shaun o stopped me and said he will check the truck for me I say ok he than pointed out a scratchy on the left side which I did see in the photos when u do the walk around and I also confirmed in he swore up and down I did not do the walk around witch I did... After him being extremely rude to be and his and his employee whispering like children all he said was I can go he would send me a receipt I told him I wanted to get to the bottom of it but he was not having it I did not want to escalate situation so I left I now received a email saying I owe for multiple damages I am livid and believe this is a set up witch I really don't recommend those kind of people for managers they are bad for business I will be taking him/uhual to court if this does not get fixed this was really uncalled for and clearly bad management.

Checkout was a nightmare. No one told me that the office closed at 7. My return time was 9. A young man was leaving and I asked him if he could help me because I didn't know how to unhook the trailer. He pointed to a sign that said I needed to check out on line. I told him that I didn't have my log in info. He just shrugged and walked off. I managed to unhook the trailer in the Texas heat and discovered that I could use my Uhaul app without having to log in. I took all the pics required but when I went to close trailer door it was stuck open and no one was there to help me get it closed. A very frustrating experience. to say the least.

The staff were all outside just talking. The office was empty. Texted the manager’s number on the business card and never heard back from him either. I watched multiple people just come in and leave - probably lost business.

They didn't know where the truck was. They don't help you at all except to give you.the keys-everything is done on the app instead of having the rep go over things with you on the operation of the truck which is very impersonal and confusing.

Staff is very helpful especially when she accompany us in Storage assigned to us and help with access. Because it's 14 years ago when we use the UHaul Self Storage. So I am not familiar and my husband is actually the one who negotiated on our first UHaul experience.

Made a reservation for 11am. Was told that the previous renter had not made it back. Was told they would be back in 20 minutes. I waited patiently as I understand sometimes there are complications. 30 minutes later, I was told 10 more minutes. Finally at 12:50 the rental showed up. I asked if my bill would be adjusted due to failing to fulfill my reservation in a timely manner. I was told by the manager that it's not his fault the previous person was late. They charge $100 for being late but didn't want to compensate the person that's been inconvenienced. Told them I would just call corporate, the manager then told me they can't force him to give me anything. I told him okay we will find out. He then asked me what I wanted. I stated the policy of when a reservation is not fulfilled, the company promises $50. He then said fine I'll give you $50 after you return your equipment. Have yet to receive a credit. All I really wanted was good service, which could have been solved with empathy and humility.

Your company has a serious issue with the manager at this location. He and the assistant manager here are the reason I moved my stuff out to another company’s facility. They were both very rude and condescending as well as highly disrespectful. I even had a friend rent a truck from this location and she too had the same experience with the manager being rude from the get go. Look at the google reviews for this location and you’ll the same sentiment left by others in regards to the manager here. I will never use U-Haul again because of him.

I have nothing but good to say about U-Haul. The staff is quick, but friendly. The facilities are always clean and well lit. Most of all, they are very secure. At first, if was difficult for me to remember how to access my unit, then I realized it is for the safety of my property. I came to really appreciate it. Jim N Austin TX

I reserved a van. There was no mention of a extra deposit or using your credit card versus your debit card so I had to get a larger truck which I did not need and the instructions was not registered for my storage unit, so when I try to sign in with the code. It did not let me sign in…overall experience was good, but those were just simple details that was not mentioned online at all. I received several emails and confirmations, but nothing was mentioned about those.

Easy to set up storage and move out. No problems. I love how easy it is to get in and out and all the dollies available to move furniture. The after hours access is wonderful. We always use this Uhaul storage facility when we're in Austin. Never had a problem, and when I made a mistake, the staff fixed it beautifully for me. I hate moving, but this place really helps me out so much!

Michelle was super helpful & very patient with me, even though unbeknownst to me there was a line gathering up behind me while I completed my Storage Unit transaction. I had experienced a lot of stress with my move the day before & that morning, but Michelle made everything go so smoothly. The next morning when I showed back up with truck after it being emptied, she made that process so easy as well, I was happy that she was available to assist me again.

I rent the storage space 2 days and advance and when I try storage my furniture the storage was still occupied . When I notice I go the office tell the guy and charge what happens he can answers my questions what happens he call the manager and the manager. I ask the manager what happens he don't know happens he is not even said im sorry he only try to ge me 5×5:space when the storage space I rent was 10×10 they have terrible ,terrible customer service I don't recommend the business place 00000 starts.
