Yolanda A.Returning truck was a complete failure. Employee told me to leave keys in truck and I would receive email confirmation in approximately 30 minutes. Five hours later and waiting more than 30 minutes holding on the phone, I discovered the truck was not officially returned. I called the next morning, waiting another 25 minutes to talk to an actual person, before being redirected to an actual person who told me there was some miscommunication and I should expect an email later to confirm return. This never happened!

Bryan N.The only complaint I have was there was only one cashier. I needed an adapter for my trailer rental and had to get back in line and waited over 30 minutes. The extremely helpful young man whi was installing my trailer came and checked me out online. He was waiting on me to finish the install. Glad that he took the initiative to get me moving!
Bridgitte G.When we rented the van, it had a tire with low pressure and a check tire light. We added air (at the U-Haul location) but it continued to lose pressure over the afternoon. We were told to call the 1-800 number to have the tire replaced. Both rear tires had to be replaced due to nails on the tires (which were covered by U-Haul). Recommend ensuring there are no dash warnings before releasing the van, or ensuring repairs are completed first. Overall experience was good and our move was very successful, but there were initial challenges in getting the van ready for the road.

Marie B.This location gave me an EMPTY TRUCK. This location gave me a truck with DIRTY windshield wipers. I have PICTURE PROOF. I tried calling customer service and was placed on hold. Then I was OVER CHARGED. Uhaul is TERRIBLE and I will NEVER use uhaul again.

Then received another text today that it was not received called the # and they checked and said they would check with the Alta Mesa location. I had the receipt they printed off for me at 9AM showing it was returned pm Sat with the truck. The text from UHaul came in at 11:42AM after I had already drove and checked with the drop off site.

My truck was getting checked and stuff before I left the store . Plus I've never went through this before . If I return I'll do a contactless pickup and drop off just so I don't have to deal with rudeness Over 12 hours later and I still didn't receive an receipt or email about my return .

Try calling the number for this location and all it does is send you to a toll free automated system…. Can’t get anyone on the phone from the actual location….terrible service.

I have been to this location more than a dozen times and had to leave 3 times and go to home depot. Thankfully after this weekend I am moving and will find a better location.

Naomi W. | Overall ExperienceThe people at the front desk gave us no information about the storage unit. When I bought the unit. I bought a regular lock to lock my storage. When I returned my lock was cut off and a round lock I didn't own was on my storage. After going to the front desk. I was told only round locks could be used. I was not told then when I bought storage locker and lock at the same time. While moving my things into the storage locker. My card was not activated properly and I could not open the door to the storage grounds. I had to hold onto several very large objects over night and wait for the front desk to open in order to get my card fixed. When I asked the front desk person is there any thing I should know cause I was not told about the lock. He said nothing and I asked him I can come back any time. He confirmed that I can go to my storage locker anytime of day or night. I returned later that night only to find out that was not true. My unit was only available to me during working hours and I could not access it at night. I had to upgrade in order to get night time access. Every step of the way using this location was horrible and unfriendly. Only one person there was any type of help.

I was offered a bigger one, but the ceiling was so low, I wasn’t able to keep a few of my items and I had to pay more for it. I feel that we shouldn’t have to pay more to have 24 hour access to the facility if we have to pay more not to have it as well. Trying to talk to someone over the phone was a pain. Outside of that, I did feel that my stuff was safe and secure there

Your employee driving your trucks was driving very dangerous..he almost flipped a truck, he was squealing tires as he drove around the corners.. my husband went in to talk to a manager, he was told there was not one on duty.. this employee could have hurt or even killed someone with the way he was driving. Was afraid to step out or pull my dodge out to leave feeling he may wreck into us.. please look at your videos.. thank you, Kimberly Whitney

Rooms were over booked and the gentleman who helped me was amazing at coming up with a solution for a wider unit. However, I booked the unit I did originally because I had a refrigerator and bookshelf’s that I knew were going to need room that I was unable to keep because of the lack of space and time to look for storage elsewhere.
