The experience was going very well until I was accused of not returning the vehicle and of theft. I had to drive to the location and explain when and where I returned the vehicle. Staff immediately located the return paperwork that had been misfiled. I was also charged a higher rate because I returned the vehicle back to the same location. I was not aware this was an issue; otherwise, I would have returned it somewhere else if I had known this. Instead I was out about $60 more than what I agreed upon. I appreciate the office staff smoothing this over, but the theft accusal and the higher rate leaves me an unhappy customer for this particular experience.

Had to replace a license plate light after the trailer was attached to my vehicle. This type of repair should be done prior to issuing it to a customer. It took an additional 20 minutes for the work to be completed while my wife and son were just sitting in the truck

After renting and returning the equipment uhaul has continued to debit money from my bank account yet when I call them uhaul says balance is zero. Spoke to Richard at this location stated I should file fraud with my bank. Also stated it wasn't his store that continues to debit my account yet statements say otherwise. Says he will check into it and call me back that was 3 days ago. No help from corporate as well.

It was a good until the end when I was unhitching the tow dolly for my truck and employee yelled at me said I was putting it in the wrong spot I didn't appreciate that at all and then he had his personal vehicle in the way of the spot he direct me to put it at. I will continue to use U-Haul but I will not go to this location anymore.

The trailer didn't have any visible debris but I had to sweep up dirt and broken glass. I saved the teacup of stuff in a trash bag for when I turned in the trailer to show the attendant. He was unconcerned.

I told the person who set me up for the rental that I would most likely drop off the trailer in Petaluma but possibly another location and was told “oh you can return it anywhere just call and let us know if there is a change”. When I got to California I realized that I needed to take my dresser to a different location and called to say I needed to drop off the trailer in Willits instead. I was then informed that I would be charged a “wrong destination fee” of $120+ dollars if I did not take it back to the original drop off location. I drove an hour and a half each way to return the trailer back to Sonoma County. When I complained to U-Haul corporate they said the Fort Worth store should not have told me I could return it anywhere and that basically I shouldn’t complain because I got the trailer rental at a very discounted rate.
