I was at the Alta Mesa location in Fort Worth, Sunday, 10/21/18. The store was very neat and clean. BUT the young man that assisted me was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He new his job very well, he was so polite and I could tell that he work with attention to detail. His customer service was wonderful! #greatemployee

Got a call from a very rude gentleman to confirm everything was dropped off. When I told him that I dropped it off at, what to his opinion, was the “wrong location” he laughed and proceeded to tell me it was going to be $400+ in fees. I told him how I made the reservation (through the app where you have to enter a drop off zip code) he listened and said he was extending my time I could bring it back until 8 P.M. Tonight. After making a follow up call, I was told by another associate to speak to Scheduling and they would take care of it. After being told I was being transferred and talked to Scheduling at 7:55 PM C.T. , I was informed the fee is “double the local fee” (which would be around $150-160 total not $400 EXTRA). After this call and being told multiple different things I wanted to speak to customer service — I was told that scheduling in fact closes at 7 everyday and they were closed. After walking a very helpful customer service associate, he informed me that a Uhaul from this Fort Worth to my location (Irving) would be around $103-120 Total — which is what the site said when I put the Irving Zip Code in. I also asked for what time the Truck (which was already turned in and had been for hours at this time) was due back tomorrow as he told me he would push it until tomorrow night as I had work all day today... the account said the Truck was due back at 7 AM today. At 7 AM, I received an invoice for $250. The people in this site are LYING about who they are, who they’re transferring you too, the policies and if they’re extending times on your payment. I was lied to by everyone I spoke too at this site and they weren’t even close to the number. They’re in it to POCKET and STEAL your money and do everything they can to make it inconvenient for YOU.

When he Spoke to me (Your customer) like I was an idiot) when he explained blatantly the cost of your truck in case I decided too f##n steal it. I was there to rent the truck locally to move move household. He should not be employed there as he gives your company a VERY BAD name.

Prices are to high and every time I rent for uhaul I feel like I’m getting ripped off. And what’s this B.S. $1.00 environmental fee??



I am blind and thought I had made agreement to pay for truck, dolly blankets and insurancw, I provided my payment information and ask the lady if my Nephey would be able to drive. When my family arrived from 104 miles away the truck was not there, no appliance dolly and they were sent to another location. Whem they got there you made my Nephew redo some papers and he had to pay for the truck with his card. When we were loading the truck (in the rain) someone noticed that the furniture blankets were not included. Very poor service when I called and spoke to several people including a manager I was offered no solution.

The uhaul was not ready, nor was the key, so I had to search all over a dark parking lot for my truck, and ultimately had to call the manager to get my key. It would have been easier to just wait in line.

I had a great experience overall and the customer service was excellent. The Only Thing I Would Recommend is A storage discount/special w/truck rental. I rented a 10 x10 for $100 a month with a 1/2 for the 1st month with another storage company. I had initially reserved at this location however found a better deal somewhere else. I am very grateful for the Uhaul customer service asking the right questions and accommodating my family with our transition and making it easier to move with the proper size truck to facilitate our need. Thanks

The personnel didn't give us enough information and the location closed before we had our things in storage but no one told us what to do with the truck and what to do with the keys. We had to go on line and do all of that. A little too impersonal

Easy pick up. Easy return! However, ordering on UHaul website was confusing as optional items were preselected, so it forced you to deselect if you did not want them instead of picking what you wanted...NOT COOL!

For some reason the bed of the truck was dangerously slippery. I mean seriously dangerously slippery. It was not enough to try and dry-wipe the surface, I had to wash the surface to remove whatever was making the surface so slick. There was no odor I could discern (the truck smelled STRONGLY of something I think is a deordorant the moving pads were probably washed in). This could have lead to a serious injury as the first time I entered the truck it was on a slant up my driveway and I was pulling an appliance dolly with a refrigerator on it.

Came in a day early and made an express pickup appointment. When I got there I had to wait in an hour line for pickup with people there to rent storage. All the disabled parking spaces were full. None of the vehicles had disabled plates or tags. I asked the manager about it. She asked me what I expected her to do about. (you did have a sign saying that disabled parking was strictly enforced)
