The way your business works is too strict. It's your way or no way. I gave my credit card information over phone which I never like to do. When I get to location to pickup trailer I give the same information to attend to rent this trailer. I've been a victim of identity theft and now I'm very careful giving information over the phone to people I don't know. I think uhaul should rethink requirements to reserve equipment. A tire popped off the car hauler I rented so I came into this facility to tell them what happened and I still had my car on the car hauler without any concern for human life the first thing the manager stated wae (how fast was you going) this is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional of him. the reason the tire popped of the car hauler because of poor maintenance The hub broke because there was no grease inside of itquincy C.

I was told the installation would last 30 mins to an hour so I planned my day accordingly. The installation actually took 3 hours causing me to miss my late father in law's memorial service. In addition to that, the next day I noticed one of the dust covers was hanging beneath my car where the hitch was installed. Two of the nuts/bolts which held it in place were missing. I called the store to request the return of the missing nuts/bolts. Store attendant said he would have the guy that installed the hitch to give me a call back the next day. That was 6 days ago and I still have not heard back. Based on this experience I will never do business with uhaul again in this capacity nor will I recommend uhaul to anyone.Fredrica T.

I checked the lug nuts on toy dol before transport and im glad i did. Three of them were lose and was a half of a turn from falling off completely. I would have had a definite car crash if i hadnt checked them. It putt my family's life and the fellow motorist lives in dangerChristopher M.

Three problems - 1) Three people working on lot, but no one paying attention. I'd been waiting 10 minutes to check-in. Another truck pulled in behind me and was taken first. 2) I explained the low fuel issue from picking up the truck in KC and informed the employee that I had used the text app link to check out the truck and noted the fuel discrepancy between my actual fuel and the what was on the agreement. I told him I uploaded a picture showing the low fuel light and that there were 32 miles to empty using the text app I was sent. He said I was good to go. After I got home I had an email charging me for fuel. I am furious!!! You gave me an truck with no fuel. I told everybody about it on both ends of the trip. I used the text app as instructed, and I still get charged for fuel. No way. Fix it !! 3) I agreed to pull a trailer from KC to St. Louis for a $75 credit. I was told the credit would be issued when I checked in the trailer. I did that on Sat, 2/4/23, and still haven't seen my credit. Definitely not your finest hour. I use U-Haul several times a year. Truck did have 1/4 tank of fuel however the original truck we were given was making a noise your staff recognized that could be a problem so he traded it out and gave us a new one. That may be why the truck was low on fuel--Mandy was great putting in reservation for us thank you.Jack S.

We tried to return the truck close to our move After checking web site for closest return spot ,at arrival they informed us that they were no longer associated with uhaul and have not been since last August They said they have requested uhaul to remove them but not yet done. That return spot used to be Froesel Tire on Manchestet Road in Maplewood Missouri It ended up costing up more for the fuel Just drove back where I checked it out, not knowing what was accurate on the web sites Out another approximate $45.00 dollarsBOB C.

I'll start off telling this by saying, I've been working in customer service for about 8 years now. I know the rights and wrongs, ins and outs. So when I'm faced with situations like this I try to be understanding, because anyone who's worked in customer service knows how crummy it feels to be yelled at/belittled. I made a reservation for a tow dolly at 11am yesterday on the 11th. The front desk guy, Christopher seemed friendly. He helped hook up the tow to my truck and my partner was going to help him hook it up and check to assure everything was properly functioning. The worker said â€œOh you're fine I got this you can go back to your truck.â€ We thought that was nice. Until later we learned we should've inspected the equipment with this guy to assure everything was fine. I drove to a car shop in Florissant to pick up my non-drivable vehicle and as we were getting the straps adjusted my partner realized there was a giant knot in the strap on the right side. This knot was so messed up the person who used this dolly prior to us did it backwards and basically created a huge mess. We laid on the parking lot ground, using flatheads to get this knot out. It was useless. I called the Cave Springs UHAUL for help and of course, no help. They told me to call the Florissant location and drive it there to have them fix this situation. Which I thought was quite rude because, they didn't cause this mess. They didn't make the mistake of not checking the equipment before renting it out. At this point it was around 12:30. My partner is late for work. Something that should've taken 1 hour had now taken over that. I finally made the call to drive to the other location for help. The girl who helped us, Becky, BLESS Becky. She got this hugeeee knot out of these straps. She was frustrated for us. She was like â€œsomething inserted this strap backwards how does something make this big of a mess like this?â€ Thankfully she was the only person that helped. After that, we drove back to my car in the shop lot. Finally after over an hour I can finally tow my car! We get the car all strapped in properly and make my way to my house to drop it off. At this point it was around 2:30. My partner is now 2 hours late because of someone else's laziness to do their job. I drove the tow back to UHAUL and I told them my reasons for being upset. The only thing I was given was $15 off my $57 total. I don't think the guy cared much, but it was his mistake and it took almost 3 hours of my time up. I just feel like more could've been done for my frustration. The only person who was helpful during this whole situation was Becky!Megan H.

UHaul went above and beyond! In the process of moving, we literally found ourselves pretty much homeless for about a week between selling our condo and getting to move into our new home. People at UHaul were the kindest people we dealt with during that week. We had to rent trucks and vans two different times and also a storage facility. They made it easy and affordable. I've had 2 good experiences so far at U-Haul. I bought boxes online and then picked them up with no waiting. Andrew was very helpful when I rented a storage room. He explained everything and even walked us to the storage unit explaining all the safety/security features at this facility.
