You really need to streamline your rental process. It should be a five minute experience not a twenty five minute experience. Every time I’ve rented from any location it has been a disorganized hassle. None of you employees ever seem to have any initiative. It’s like the customer is a bother to them.

I understand vehicles need to be returned with at least the same fuel level, but when it’s only got 1/4 of a tank to begin with it is extremely inconvenient to pull out of the parking lot and have to stop at a gas station before conducting your move. Also, marking previous damage is all well and good, but driving with a shattered driver side mirror is a bit on the unsafe side. Otherwise the experience was as expected from U-Haul.

Not charge customers for equipment they did not use. I rented a truck to pick up lumber from Lowe’s . I did not use the dolly or blankets in the truck. I returned the truck and was told That I was good and the receipt would be emailed. I was charged for equipment I did not use.

They charged me twice why, I don’t know? When I asked the gentleman who processed my final receipt, $ 102.00 for one day (30.3 miles) with the gas tank the way it was given to me... His reply was he was doing what he was told...

Need additional customer service agent on the return Heath was the only person at the location he had approximately 7 customers waiting attempting to return/pickup and buying boxes with more coming in. Customer service was outstanding except for the lack of agents to take care of the customers. Heath did an outstaning job taking care of the customers. Will recommend

My only recommendation is the mattress mover that you have at your local site, to rent it to local handicap folks like myself to move local. I know you will make money..

Staff member that helped me was very professional and informative. I do have an issue with the greasy fingerprints inside the cab and the overall poor appearance of the exterior. This was my second rental in a week from this location. The first rental was clean but I had to fill the gas tank.

The service was extremely poor and took forever. The guy did not know what he was doing. We showed the mileage was incorrect by 200 mi and the female said not to worry about it. When we dropped it off, we were almost charged for those miles we did not put on it. Luckily I stayed and had the paper work and picture showing the correct mileage

We rented a truck and while we were driving across the state we got a phone call saying the transmission was bad and they weren’t sure how the truck was rented out. They wanted us to bring the truck back!!

The service was good, but it looks like there is issue with the billing. I went in early to pre-pay my bill and get the paperwork work completed. They charged my account at that time 57 dollars and told me that they would reimburse me money if the mileage was less. So I went back and only drove the vehicle 7 miles when I thought it would be around 30 miles. I asked for a receipt and it was 43 dollars on the receipt, so I should have gotten a refund but instead I got billed again for 57 dollars. Now I have been charged 114 dollars for a one day 7mile rental fee. Now I have to go back and get this resolved.

I've had 3-4 interactions with this location over the past 3-4 months, and this being the most recent, and thus my following comments. First, needed to pick up this particular rental early as possible and arrived 3-5 minutes after appointment (store opening). Finally someone arrive approximately 10-15 minutes after store was supposedly open...no apologies or any other comments from staff regarding their unprofessional behavior. This event along with behaviors noticed during previous visits to this location have prompted me to no long burden their attempts to provide good customer service (or lack there of), and intend to avoid this location (and maybe Uhaul) after this visit.

After the rental, they charged over $500 on my card emoji here took me more than a workday and quite a few calls to Uhaul to get my refund. Additionally, they are now backing up on what I was told by the Uhaul employee in regards to free 30 day storage units. Anything to get money. I have rented many trucks from Uhaul and never had so much trouble. I’ve paid over $1100 renting from Uhaul since April 26th and now they won’t even honor what I was told and let me use my 30 day rentals. Very poor customer service and so many phone calls , stating everything over and over again trying to get someone to do what is right. I still have more to move and there is very little chance that I will use this company. They have no customer loyalty or standing by what their employees tell you. This location in particular does not care. And they don’t care if employees have lied to you knowingly, unknowingly, or whatever. They just want money.

I unpacked the boxes the same day and they were picked up the next morning, however they never were marked as returned and I was charged a monthly rent times 2. I was Not able to reach the Sanford location and had a very difficult time getting thru to customer service. They apologized and gave me a case number 2360896 and promised a prompt return of my money. To this day I am still waiting. I have initiated a Disput with my credit company.

Honestly I don't know where to start other than saying you should stop promoting that your company supports military and their families. The actions of the manager leslie at this location and her manager have shown otherwise. They would not uphold your companies promise to deliver my pods on 26 June 2019 due to "being short staffed" and shortly after that excuse throwing personal problems in my face. I eventually received my final two pods on 28 June 2019 (the day I was suppose to close on my house in another state, but had to move it because your company couldn't uphold their promise which cost me $961). Also I come to find out your horribly ran company doesn't even weigh the boxes even though you're given a max weight therefore the army will not be reimbursing me for my move. Over all your company is the worst company that I have used in my 28 years on this planet and in the future I will go above and beyond to prevent any service member from utilizing your services.

The General Manager Leslie Atkinson could not have been any ruder. She was too busy on her cell phone texting and was obvious annoyed that I had a couple questions for her. She spoke to me ignorantly and was totally unprofessional. I asked for her busy card and she was not happy about that. Also there were other customers waiting who also seemed annoyed with her lack of professionalism.

I would never ever recommend this location to anyone. We were charged for equipment we never received and double charged for items we did receive. Leslie Atkinson from the sanford location charged us for the truck, trailer, dolly, insurance and 24 moving blankets. During this transaction we only actually received the 26' truck, insurance and 12 moving blankets. Leslie argued with me that she charged me correctly. At one point she said she refunded me to fix it yet charged me again. At this point there was over $1800 held on my credit card the day before a move. I went to pick up the trailer from the second location assuming it was already paid for when I was told i had to pay again because i should have never been charged for it from the sanford location. I called to speak to Leslie about this and was basically told I was wrong and hung up on. I drove back to the sanford location and she was gone and no other employee could fix that she had messed up. This ended in me being on the phone with customer service for 2 hours when I should have been packing. This made my whole move more difficult than it should have been. We still haven't resolved anything, we were told to wait until Monday to help fix this.

The entire rental process left a LOT to be desired. I called the day before my scheduled pickup to verify that the "confirmed" contract vehicle (the 10 ft truck) would be available for pickup the next morning at 7:00 as promised. I was informed that the 10 ft truck would not be available at all. I was given the option to cancel or call a number in High Point to reschedule. I called High Point. The person there offered me a 15 ft truck at the same price and same deal as the 10 ft truck. She indicated it would be available at 7:00 AM. I accepted. However, the next day at 7:00 AM, I was dealing with the 4th person regarding this rental and she refused to allow me the same deal for the 15 ft. truck. I needed a truck, and decided to pay the additional $50. At that point I decided to NEVER rent anything again from U-Haul. You guys should do the right thing and refund me $50 for the difference in the original quote. You should also pay me an additional $50 for having to clean the MUD out of the cab, clean the sticky substance dripping down the interior of the windshield and clean the smudges and finger prints from the outside mirrors.

Also, I was impressed that there is a informational video an their website. I will definitely use and recommend this uhaul location in the future!

I reserved a truck for pickup at 8am on Friday August 2nd. Arrived at 7:45 the store was closed, the sign said they opened at 7am. They finally opened at 8:45, after another 30 minutes of waiting in line with several other people who were renting trucks I finally left about 9:30. Not one word from the manager as I was getting my truck. No apology, no explanation, not to mention the fact that she makes zero eye contact with any customer let alone smile! She’s miserable and should not work in customer service at all. I will NEVER walk into this location again.

Customer service was late openinf during pick up. I was not escorted to my teuck and had to look around the lot for my truck. The mileage was different by a couple miles from what I was told, but after walking around the lot looking for my truck I chose not to go back to the office and wait 10min to get that corrected.
