The workers there are great, other than the managers. I've used this location multiple times, and the managers truly embody the feeling of laziness. Th eworkers go over the top to try to make things work for customers, find alternatives, etc, but the managers always seem to provide roadblocks, hassle, are generally unhelpful, and not friendly at all. Some of the lower tier employees need to be promoted to management, and have the current managers removed. You will undoubtedly have better ratings, service, and return customer.RICHARD C.

My wife and I had contact with about 6 different employees in the pick up and return processes. ALL were friendly and helpful. We had reserved a trailer and I had done the online check-in the evening before. Pick up and check out were fast. The return was equally as fast and friendly. The trailer was clean and fully functional. All-in-all a great experience. I would return to this location should I need a rental in the future.Charles T.

I am not sure if anyone ever reads these reviews but I ordered a trailer for a one-way rental. I got a call from someone at U-Haul asking me for a favor and if I could bring the trailer back to the original location since there was a shortage of equipment. I wasn't thrilled about hauling an empty trailer for 180 miles but I was willing to do it. Once I arrived they told me that I had to have the trailer back by 1pm or I would be charged another day. I waited and tried to solve the problem for almost two hours by talking to some person on their "traffic" line. Anyway they couldn't figure it out and I was already late for my other appointment so I had to just cut my trip short because I was trying to do U-Haul a favor. I also stood outside for over 30 minutes before I could find a single person to check me out so I could leave. The "manager' that finally helped me load the trailer on my truck wasn't pleasant AT ALL and was acting as if I was bothering him by asking him to do his job. Dropoff was seamless.JASON K.

Counter help was excellent. No help in the lot when it came to hooking up the trailer. I contacted the manager who was in the lot and he was not helpful and basically blew me off. He clearly has no management or customer service skills. I felt that he didn't care if I received help or not. Once a lot worker was found, he was polite and helpful. Maybe get the crew radios and require them to use it, or a PA system and require the crew to respond. Probably not going to happen under that supervisor's umbrella.EDWARD H.

Attendant kept answering phone calls while I stood and waited to be helped after a 36 hour drive. He was short and annoyed when he finally asked me "what do you need?" Told me my reserved storage unit was on the second floor and there's no elevator, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. Found another unit outside of uhaul. I've used Uhaul for ever move in my life (13 states over 30 years) I won't be renting uhaul again after this pick and drop off experience.Joseph T.

I rented a trailer it took a hour to get it hooked up to my truck and after waiting all that time they forgot my furniture dolly I call they said I would get a refund for the equipment I paid for and didn't get I am still waiting for my refundKevin R.
The man who helped me at the desk was very informative and helpful. However, the individual tasked with hooking up the trailer to the truck (Christian) was nowhere to be found. I later found him in a truck on his phone. He took a long time to hook up the trailer to the truck even forgetting and having to go back for a cable. It took almost half an hour from the time I left the front desk until I actually left with the truck and trailer.Angel C.

The delivery of my original box was not on time. I was promised a delivery on Saturday but did not receive it until the following Tuesday and was not told of the delay until Saturday afternoon! I was refunded $50 for the inconvenience - an amount that did not cover my lost wages (took off from work) and expenses. The goods arrived on time and in tact except my lock was broken and the door had been shrink wrapped closed due to the broken lock.charles A.

Get faster computers/ software. Lots of waiting on PC screens to refresh. Waited 1/2 hour dropping off only to have representative tell me just leave the keys in it a d your goid to go. Don, the manager, runs a nice operation and has trustworthy employees. A staff member found a camera which I had left in the rental truck that I rented for the day. They called me to let me know, It is very comforting to know that honest people are still out there doing good deeds especially in this pandemic hate-filled crazy world. I salute Don and his team. I was not impressed with one of your representatives yelling at a customer on the phone and then when another customer accidentally knocked over your uhaul guy made of boxes he made it a point to be huffy and loudly say, â€œYou couldn't even pick it up?? The van I rented was dirty and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a while...crumbs in the seat and on the floor and hair from a previous customer on the seat. The general manager (no name tag but had an embroidered shirt) is rude to say the least both on the phone and in person and not customer service oriented at all. Extremely dismissive and very abrupt. These people over-book...The truck we reserved, and confirmed, was not available when we came for it. We were given a 5' smaller truck so had to make an extra trip from home to storage, but Uhaul would not discount us for the extra mileage!!! What a scam!! You over charged me & charged 90 something dollars on my credit card because the person before left it nearly empty on gas. I am really pissed off & will never rent from you again. Poorly trained staff. When I told him one of the tire on the trailer he was hooking up to my truck he argued with me. I was a truck driver for many years so I can tell a flat tire with a simple kick. After pretty much demanding he check it all I got was oh yea it is flat. Ad this to him swinging the safety chain into my painted bumper I had enough. Guess my truck was bound to get a chip in the paint but figured I'd be the one doing it.Raymond L.
Refilling the vehicle has a scam in it because the company charges to refill but there is no explanation how to save the customer from discrepancies when the customer fills the tank and public gas station pumps won't fill the tank up because of their automatic shut off and the tank odometer tells you you're full of gas. But when you return the vehicle it doesn't have enough gas in it. I absolutely hate you haul and I think all of them are a scam.BILL G.

Inside of the van does not smell good. I asks for another one but it both smell the same. I got a call the next day asking me if I returned the rental which I did the day before. Strange the paper work I received from the desk has a different information about the rental then what I was driving. I was told to leave the key in the rental and leave. It would be good to keep the rental clean and odor free.MEREANI I.
This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. I chose to book my rental online as well as register and pickup my moving truck online. The website is terrible on every level, I was unable to pickup my truck online so I had to go into the store to pickup the truck. Well I went into the store the manager was a complete mess and extremely rude. Every person he encountered in front of me, â€œwhich there were a fewâ€ he was very disrespectful to. The U-Haul onsite storage unit was both NOT as described (was 2nd floor with NO elevator), and storage area closed at least 25 minutes before advertised closing time (7PM), so storage unit was unavailable when we arrived at 6:35 PM after . Clerk at front desk didn't explain properly that he had no keys to unlock door, but twice gave me a mag-stripe entry card that subsequently didn't work, while my hired worker cost me an additional $25 for extra time spent unloading, taking things up stairs to porch landing outside locked door, then moving things back down and reloading. I immediately cancelled the unit, but even that was not handled correctly. I never even saw the unit because of the above.Bruce G. | Overall Experience
15+ minute waits every time I wanted to do anything in the store. The self entry door has a dead bolt on it and it is rarely unlocked and you need to walk up to the store to get someone to open it. My one month was free due to truck rental which is the only reason I used the space. Good to have the experience as I will never consider using this facility for storage if I have to pay.
