I was supposed to get a call on April 19 to confirm the pick-up at Bloomsburg PA. Instead, I got a text on my phone (April 19) changing the pickup location which I did not see until I was 20 miles past the Shamokin location. Then I had to wait online for 45 minutes on my cell phone to get to customer service to change the pickup date to the 19th. I then had to backtrack 20 miles to pick up the trailer. I called this location at least 20 times to change the pick up time and they never answered. I didn't want to do it online because of the different rate that was given to me, I was afraid it would mess that up. Since I was an hours he I had to call 1-800 go uhaul and wait on hold for 45 min so they could update the pick up time so I could then pick up the truck via my phone. Very annoying.Ryan E.

The entire experience lacked customer service. The employees at each location were helpful but the process was painfully slow. The website is horrible and the woman that called me to confirm my rental was rude she seemed to believe that she was doing me a favor just by being alive I guess..ELWYN P.

Get more customer service people to answer the phone when a person needs road service! After 20 minutes passed on 2 times I tried calling you, I got a tow truck to winch out the U-Haul from some soft, muddy grass, and paid the $105 tow charge myself. This delay cost me one hour of moving time, to get the 10' truck pulled 15' forward!Barbara W.

That is someone I would look for to be a representative for my company in retail and dealing with customers. Sign says wait outside for someone to check in vehicle on return, but there is no chime or sensor or line of sight way for employee to know that you've pulled in from the south entrance. local reps always know more about rental availability and don't try to coerce you into a 6 hour rental like the call center in Tampa. local employee very nice and helpful.Nicholas K.

Have whoever's does the phone registration not give you a half day rental at full day price... I know this was not someone at this location, but I had planned on using truck longer than just 4 hours... I wanted to rent the truck for a full day.quinn A.
Shamokin Dam: The individual assisting us needs a course in customer experience! As a leader, I have educated hundreds of employees on how important customer experience is...clearly this individual (we were told he was the manager) has not received training. He was not able to be empathetic to our situation (uhauls vehicle breaking down), make eye contact nor apologize/verbalize in a kind caring tone regarding the inconvenience. We are not upset with Uhaul that the vehicle broke down it happens...we were quite disheartened over the employees lack of empathy to "own it" and turn a negative into a positive.Deborah F.

My only complaint is that the system was down and even using the app was a pain. There has to be a way to rent a vehicle even if the system isn't working. 2 1/2 hrs is rediculous to get a vehicle.Charles S.
When I picked up the trailer the staff was very helpful. When I connected to the lights on the there where a few lights out, They put some stickers on the lights. When i was towing the trailer empty it bounced like it had a bad tire. I loaded a small tractor onto the trailer well within the weight limit but the trailer had a bad sway back and forth at times. Sometimes I had to slow down to 45 MPH to get it under control and on a 70MPH interstate I slowed traffic down.James H.

The location was great and very helpful but corporate could use some work. Uhaul advertises 24/7 service yet I rented a truck without a prior reservation and was told another location had the vehicle transport we needed, which was okay, we understood due to being last minute. They said they would hold it and it was reserved for us. We drove to that location and was called when we were more than halfway there that it was no longer available and that we had to backtrack and go 40+ miles to another location. All in all we ended up driving 33 miles more than our allotment. I called the main uhaul # explaining that I went to Uhaul to help get my broken down car home from a weekend away and about my experience to see if I could get the miles reimbursed and they refused. I ended up paying the extra gas and miles for the added runaround and they couldn't care less, just told me some story about a guy in canada who drove 400 miles.Michael B.
