The 6x12 trailer had some wear and tear. There was nothing major wrong and it was road worthy though I just noticed the gate was difficult to latch due to dents and bends etc. Also the tie down points in the trailer are not rated for the load capacity of the trailer. It appears they were replaced at some point with a d ring that is about 3/16â€ diameter. The staff were great. They were very friendly and fast. Anytime I need to rent truck or trailer I always try to use this location.ADAM S.
The employee that handled my rental at this location did not explain anything about how the turn in process was supposed to work. He did not explain that returning through my phone would require me to supply the mileage of the truck, and I'd already turned in the key so I could no longer get the mileage and I was charged a fee for not providing the data myself. Additionally, I reserved a 10' and was given a 15' with a more expensive charge. I strongly do not recommend ever using this U-Haul location (or U-Haul in general)Chris S.

this experience was the worst I have had in long time. Firdt the person assisting me was talking to another employee about the football game. I was standing there waiting while he had the conversation. When I said please I need to go he gave me a surly look and continued with check in. I was FURIOUS . Them in Ohio when you renew you driver's license, they give a paper copy and they had to try 6 times before the figured it out. The van I got was filthy inside and out. When I returned the vehicle, the person checking me said "just leave it" why did ne not get up and check gas and condition THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!barry J.

I'm not upset, but my experience was overall unsatisfactory. My first complaint is that a U-Haul employee connected the trailer to my hitch, however, sometime after I left, the trailer coupler popped off the ball. There was no damage or accidents caused, however it was quite concerning. My second issue was that I returned the trailer approximately 4.5 hours after rental, and I was called and emailed 4 days later saying that my trailer was never returned. I returned the call and email to U-haul representatives, and it appears to now be resolved, but thats definitely a concerning development. My mind immediately thinks of what if something happened, although perhaps unlikely, like I returned my trailer and then sometime over the last 4 days, someone stole it from U-haul Property. I'd think that U-haul wouldn't believe that I returned the trailer, and pursue me to reimburse the company for the trailer.JOSEPH B.

the windshield was dirty in the inside & I put in a more gas than required by a quarter of a tank, now refund just a giggle and sorry. I've rented vans from Cleveland Hts,Ohio and they were always spotless and you could smell the cleaning/disinfection (which was not overpowering)HELEN MARIE W.
The engine light immediately came on and stayed on the whole trip. The lock they used for the back door had frozen tumblers that didn't move without using a tool of some kind, then the button to depress to open the lock was immovable without a tool. Once to the drop off location, they charged me for an extra day because they didn't have the combination to the lock to unlock the back door. The attendant told me they were going to take it out of service anyway because of the check engine light. So why are they charging me for an extra day when I was hours early with the drop off. BULLSHIT! I'LL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN AND BAD MOUTH THEM TO EVERYONE WHO'S INTERESTED!Susan J.
I tried to use uhaul.com to pick up the truck but it didn't work. I had rented another truck a few days before and had no issue with the web pickup so I have no idea why it didn't work. The location was open and the guys I side were wonderful!!!! Lamar was friendly, helpful and generally awesome!!!!! When I dropped off the truck a young man met me at the truck before I could even open my door. He was very friendly and checked me in incredibly fast. The right mirror of the truck was constantly sliding back and needed to be adjusted. The alignment of the truck was weird on the highway at 60mph, it would be pain to drive it long-distance. The skip the line was also non-existent, 2 people working there but I still had to stand in line and wait for 3 people in front of me. Overall good experience, could recommend.Marcel D.

Have rental associate check equipment before renting. The associate said the truck was on 1/4 of a tank. When I got in the truck it was full. Before returning the truck I over fill it in order to make it back to location with a full tank of gas. I was having problems with the mileage on the website. It kept saying the mileage was less then what was on file. So the guy working told me to park it under the canopy. He said he would send me the receipt via email. When I got the email I was charged $30 for the guy supposingly putting gas in it & $9.50 for gas. There's no way this could have happened when I just over filled it. When calling customer service to resolve this issue. I called 4 times. The first 2 times I was working so I had to hangup. The 3rd time they hung on me after waiting over an hr on the phone. 4th time after another hr someone had finely answered.TAMARA D.
This was the worst service, the truck had issues and I had to go to another location to have them put oil in it, than I did not receive the dolly that I asked for, my son went back to get it and was told they didn't have any, the only they had was damaged and they would take the price of the dolly off, for the use of the damaged one. Looking at my bill it was not taken off. With all the issues I had I free it should have been free. I will never use that location again, there is not even a rating scale for what I think of the service there.SHELLY B.

Store clerks stole my credit card information and tried to use it for online purchases the same day I was in storeVONTE J.
I had made an reservation 2-3 days prior and when I got to the location I was told that ther were no trucks for me even though I had an reservation and I even witnessed several people behind me that encountered the same issue - so after I got angry I was given a number to traffic to call and was told that there was a truck for me. So the whole thing with U Haul was very unpleasant and I will never use them again !!!!DENISE M.
Very friendly staff here as well. I've dropped off trailers and a truck here four times and always had a good experience. There were a couple of times however when they were short-staffed and I had to wait in line for a while. Definitely a great place!Paul M.

When I came in to pick up the truck that I had reserved I was given a key and told which truck to take. When I got to the gentleman outside he gave me another truck that had just been returned, and it was not cleaned out. Then I had to wait at least 15 minutes while he took his time getting the dolly that I rented along with the truck. Upon returning the truck I pulled under the return area, I was the first truck, and went and got into line to return the truck. I short gentleman came and asked me if I was picking up or returning. I said, "Returning". He asked me did I have cash or a card? I said whatever will get me out of this line the fastest. He then went behind the counter like he was on the computer, and then left out after about 15 minutes. A gentleman then got in line behind me and noticed I had paperwork. And said that I should give the papers to the man who was out there. I said there was no one out there when I pulled my truck up. I then got called to the counter where the person at the counter told me exactly the same thing. Now my issue is that there was no one at the return area when I pulled up. But when I went back out there were at least four trucks and vans behind me being waited on. I got a little upset at this point. And when I got a man's attention he said he would be with me which was another 15 minutes. While waiting for him I am talking to my brother about the man who asked me if I was paying in cash or credit card, and the man was walking by, stopped, and asked me rudely, "Are you talking to me?" I told him, "No, I am talking to my brother." And continued my conversation. Eventually, at least an hour and a half after I got there someone came and assisted me. I feel that it was a total failure on the part of the employees at this particular location. And if I had to get another rental there I will go to another company. I usually get good service from U-haul, so I just don't get the behavior of the employees at this location.LEONA B.

Overall the experience was lackluster, we had reserved a 10x10 unit months in advance. On the day we rent the unit, we’re told by manager it is not available and we’d have to take 2 or 3 smaller units each at regular price. Luckily a storage service women named Dewana was very pleasant and de-escalated the situation. She politely explained why the unit we reserved was not available and said on Monday she would call me to offer a bundled price on 2 units for the inconvenience. I have previously rented a storage unit, and already had a lock from the same facility. I was told that the lock came with the unit and I didn't need, but I received no credit. This is unacceptable.
