Charlene C.Have some gas in the truck. To give a person a truck with 3/16 of 1/4 tank is absurd. You can't even make it your destination. Interestingly, the gas station is adjacent to Uhaul, so do you have an agreement with them? So a customer is forced to drive directly next door before they can proceed to their destination. Absolutely ridiculous. Takes away from the overall experience...staff and facility are nice, but overshadowed with this foolishness.
JODY B.I was informed that I would be receiving a "one way" trip truck. It appeared to be the worst truck in the fleet. The other 26 ft truck they had an empty gas tank. The truck leaked from the roof leaving water on my furniture. At the drop off location no one seemed to care. I was told,"You need to speak to the location that rented it to you". I called the Miamisburg location. After finally getting someone to answer the call. I was told to speak to customer service. It tooled over 3.5 hours to get a return call. I still need to rent another 26 ft to complete my move. I am not sure if I will use Uhaul again.

Hugh T.Every time I've rented a truck here the first one smells of cigarette smoke. So I have to go through the process of getting a different truck. While waiting for my second truck, I saw a cheaper, weekly price, advertised on a poster behind the counter and I asked to change my contract to the weekly rate instead of the more expensive daily rate. I was assured that on returning the truck, the weekly rate would apply if I hadn't gone over the 750 free miles. But it didn't. I was charged about $50 more than I should've been. When I returned the truck and discussed this I was told that I'd be contacted by a manager but I just got charged the higher, daily rate. Next time I'll go elsewhere to rent a truck.

Chanice J.I reserved a utility trailer with a ramp. When I arrived none o for the trailers available had ramps. I was able to make it work for what I needed. When I returned the trailer I brought it to the attention of the person at the desk that the trailer I received was less expensive than the one I reserved and I should be refunded the difference. To me that seems more than fair that I should only be paying for the equipment I received but apparently not to the person working. I was charged for the more expensive trailer that wasn't available.

Arrived at 9:30am and had to wait until after 10Am for the doors to open along with 6 other customers. They never mentioned that I needed a 2" ball for the Hitch which cost me another $32.00. The agent behind the counter was helpful, but the agent outside had an attitude and was of little help. Basically I was on my own to figure out how to get my problem solved

The truck was picked up two hours later from the side of the highway by a tow truck (by 5 pm) and I was STILL charged for a whole extra day WITH dolly rental, even though the dolly was not removed from the truck and still in its original position. When I called the location to let them know the truck was in poor condition from the time it was picked up, they treated me like I was wrong for calling them, were rude and told me I had to call the tow customer service number. Terrible experience.

She politely explained why the unit we reserved was not available and said on Monday she would call me to offer a bundled price on 2 units for the inconvenience. Unfortunately U-haul doesn’t have the system or scale to notify customers in advance when their reserved until is not available.
