Be on time and have correct order. Pick up time was 7am but store closed and no one arrived until 7:45 am delaying my schedule by an hour. Ordered trailer only but pads and trolley added even though original order did not have; employee said â€œ oh that happens sometimesâ€. I had a reservation to pick up a truck in store set for 7:00 AM... The store was scheduled to open at 7:00 AM... However, no one showed up to open the store until after 7:45 AM... Multiple customers with reservations were standing outside the store waiting for over 45 minutes. When calling the phone number, the response was that the store was scheduled to be open at 7:00 AM. Have more equipment available. We wanted to get a dolly but they didn't have one. Also, I was very disappointed to find out that the truck provided for us for our 1200 mile trip, did not have cruise control. All of your rental trucks should have cruise control.RICARDO Z.
The store is terribly understaffed. One employee running the whole store. Our appointment took 9 hours to be completed. And in less than a week the wiring harness broke. This location could not accommodate the repair to be completed before we needed to have our trailer rental picked up. So we were forced to used an Uhaul independent dealer who charged us money for the repair even though the hitch has a lifetime warranty.chris Z.

The truck was super dirty. It was filled with some sort of animal hair, garbage, and nothing was wiped down or cleaned. It smelled horrible even after I cleaned it. Also the visor was broken on the floor when I picked it up. With Covid, this is very unsanitary and the proper precautions aren't being met with Uhaul.Beatrice M.

This is the worst Uhaul location I have ever worked with. They were unreachable and didn't deliver or pick up my U-Box until I went down to the location where I had to wait 2 hours just to be serviced. They broke an agreed upon contract and charged me a rental fee because of it. I have been to this location several times and I always have some type of hold up. The employees don't know what they doing.GENEVA P.
You scheduled first appt at 4pm. Get a call the day before canceling saying that you never have appts at 4pm. I sent the quote and receipt stating the time, and they still canceled. Then took me 3 wks of recontacting the store to reschedule. I had to reschedule, not them. Then, they never told me I could borrow a vehicle during the install. Then they continue to send me reminders of the $200 rental fee I owe when they said it was free. I've already called to inform them, and still getting billed? The day of the install, drop off was at 8am. At 945, I get a call asking if my vehicle was dropped off. Three hour install? Took 12 hours!!! During that time I never got a phone call update, explanation, or apology! This service was absolutely the worst! I will not be back and not refer anyone. It should be 100% free for everything that I went through!Rachel H.

It's impossible reach anyone at this location. I've tried to speak with someone onsite regarding making payments towards my storage unit balance over the course of 2 months . Everytime I get transferred to the call center where they leave messages for the office but I've NEVER received one call from anyone. I live 2 and a half hrs away so just walking into office isn't possible. The only communication I had them is the emails I received when payment was due and now the final notice. I don't care how busy a business is it for never be impossible speak with them. Especially over a couple months. People moce out of town and use storage for a reason. Service sucked. Had van reserved for 2 pm. Got there at 1:30 and waited till 3 till I got my van. There wasn't anyone at the desk to help me and I had to go behind the building and get someone to come to the desk to help after I waited for 40 minutes at the front desk.Adam E.

The parking situation honestly makes it both worth using this location. I spent 10 minutes blocked in because there were no spaces and no spaces for cars to go. They had trucks in the actual lot which made it really unideal. I reserved a 10' truck but when I got there it was not available even though it said it was gaurenteed to be there. The ladies at the desk were rude and unhelpful all they said was nope it's not here sorry. So I asked if I could get a different truck and they just said no. Then I stood there with them ignoring me before I asked if I could at least get a cargo van to which I was able to get. However the cargo van was not big enough and required extra trips because everything just barely did not fit.Serenity S.

The place was disorganized; 8 customers waiting; it was a mess. We found a person outside who said we could leave the trailer as we were dropping off. She was very nice. I had to ask to get a receipt that our drop-off occurred. The place was utterly in chaos inside. This was one of the worst experiences I ever had. The Craig *the manager" did not care about anything and blamed it on everyone else. They NEVER pick up the phone if you call, even when they tell you to call. Two of the employees just sit there and only one person actually checks you in. They are supposed to open at 7am, but the guy shows up at 7:45 and complains the line is already so long. The managers cell phone voicemail is full. The regional office will confirm your order, but these guys act like they never heard of it. I will never use UHaul again. Penske is more, but their service is so much better.Michael R.

Very congested and difficult to navigate after hours without personnel and at night for proper rental vehicle parkingHARRY C.
Order #: 29713430. I reserved a 12x6 trailer to move my son from Notre Dame to Bloomington IN. I was picking up the trailer in Bloomington. I reserved the trailer a week earlier with 24 packing blankets, 2 furniture dollies, and 1 hand truck for 9am Monday. I tried to call the UHaul pick up location on Sunday to confirm, but went to a voice mail that was full. Tried most of the afternoon on, but no luck. Went over to the place to confirm for Monday, and I was assured no problem. I arrived on Monday at 8:30am to find no trailer, and no equipment, and no phone call to let me know. Offered me a truck that was way too small. I had to pick up a trailer in South Bend Indiana which put me behind about an hour. When I got to SB to pick up the trailer, no help to lift the trailer onto the hitch, and no instructions on how to hook up the safety chains, break lights. I am experienced with trailers, so no problem, but not good for folks who don't. No hand cart was available. My quote was $89 in Bloomington, but was $149 in South Bend. This was the worst moving experience ever. UHAUL is the worst. What happened to you as a company!JOHN K.

It kinda sucked that the dolly was never returned to the unused position so I had to pay for it. Inside the back of the truck was really dirty inside was pretty clean except the cup holders were kinda gross. The women at the counter when I picked up my U-Haul was a gem she was so fun and polite and probably one of the only reasons I would suggest that U-Haul location. They should add to the app if returning after hours if your photos will not upload to use the web browser because I sat there for 30 minutes trying to upload photos because there was no troubleshoot option.Abigail J.
