The truck had 151,000 miles and drove like a tank. The ride was very bumpy - its almost as if one of the tires was rectangular and not round. I was told by the GM who felt so compelled to be meticulous that the car was due back at 8:15 on a Sunday (facility doesn't open until 9-9:30?) or I would be charged a daily rate and/or extra fees. I went through the stress of doing a turn around trip in effort to make sure I met the deadline. Daniel was there on Sunday. Said he would not be on the clock until then and to sign in with the link and drop the keys off. The link was giving me error messages @ 7:57am.. I took a snapshot of the message and vehicle being park at the facility. Of course I was charge the additional fees. I ask Dawson for a correction on 6-11-2021, showed him, the photos, while Daniel sat in the chair verifying that I was there on that day. Dawson ask Daniel for assistance. They denied me of removing the fee. And said I was not there on time and fees apply. I hope this facility enjoys there $20 fee, because this will be the last time I rent a vehicle from this location.. If I can avoid it at ALL COST. And as soon I have time... I will be moving from both of my 10x10 storages..... The facility was unprofessional from the initial rent. The staffs attitudes definitely reflect management.Demetric M.

Trailer was horrible. I rented the same length trailer recently and the ride was perfectly smooth. This trailer bounced around the entire time. The only remedy was to call uhaul roadside and have them come fix it or bring a new trailer. Males no sense that I can't just go back to the store and get a replacement.Corey M.

Initially I was very pleased with this location. A letter will follow with reasons and photos as to why I am giving this rating. Perhaps, Brittany, if you took a moment to get to know your clients, you would have known my wallet was locked in one of my units rented 5/21/21 and if you retrieve your camera footage you will see me, my kid, and my father in law loading on three separate trips, multiple bags, and my father in law mixed up two bags I was CURRENTLY using with my other bags. In those two bags; there were snacks for my special needs son, his seizure medication, my husbands insulin and syringes, and my passport and my WALLET. When I spoke to you about a late payment initially I was going to call you back when I was not in my car. Then, with all going on in my life, I flat forgot. Then, I planned to pay when Robert reserved the new units (for his belongings and his files), since I would be down there. Somehow I missed all of you during hours you were open and when I went to pay the next few days after that I realized my wallet was missing and honestly thought it was stolen until I pieced the insulin, missing seizure medicine and snacks. Normally I would have noticed this immediately BUT the same day we moved into the facility, my younger sons were with their father, ROBERT (who opened the lockers with free rentals he earned) and my husband CHRIS (bald with glasses) was being rushed back to the hospital from Somerville (to the medical center) That is another reason you will see my father in law on the tapes from last week because my husband wasn’t feeling well. Please keep an eye out for my letter which will come to you online and if need be, certified. Please also provide a name of the supervisor who instructed you to speak to my daughter, threatening her with police and telling her that your supervisor said my husband wasn’t allowed to wait for me in the car, with his eyes closed in the air conditioning, after being in your hot warehouse, the same warehouse your employee (that gave me a tour) told us didn’t get hotter than 80 despite it saying it was not climate control. I found out later he was new, even though your asm is who sold me the spaces. (He is amazing and polite btw) I also don’t think someone looking for a bunch of free space would have purchased a total of 11 bundles between Uhaul and another competitor of yours. I do, as explained to the new guy and Asm on 4/11 and again a few days later to a young girl, have 4918 sq ft and six generations of stuff to move, ALONE. That is how the young girl sold me on these uboxes. Which , for the record, are NOT FREE AT ALL. Delivery alone was almost $300. I was pressured into that transaction she told me to just change the date change the date and guess what? They don’t answer the phone to change it. Next thing( I have SIX boxes and had it not been for my son, all SIX your staff member pushed me into ordering would have been left in my street. So, again my letter is in route. I look forward to a Very productive chat with you and your boss, and the corporate office along with the corporate attorney for Uhaul if need be. I take defamation of my character serious and keep in mind I have numerous friends with lockers there and your staff discussing me to customers is unacceptable. I get you and your staff are all young but making assumptions and poking fun to others or via social media is a huge moral/ ethical issue my book. I suggest you inform your staff to stop , you included, and refrain from ever discussing a customer outside of work. Although this location was especially helpful, my experience returning an auto transport was terrible. When picking it up, I was told they would leave the drop off location (in a different city) open, which I took to mean I could return it to any Uhaul. However, when returning the trailer, I was bounced from one location to the next as they told me they were full, they did not take trailers, or they were not my "assigned" drop off location, which, as I said, was supposedly left open. Apparently even if you don't have a drop off location assigned, they will assign one, but that location might reassign you, so when you get there, you'll be in the wrong place. This was the third location I tried to drop off at, and after they initially said they were full and I had been assigned to a different location, they took pity on me and let me return it there after I said this was the third location I'd been to and they were now telling me to drive 30 minutes away. Uhaul didn't inform me they had other options such as using a truck to load and store my things until my house was ready for move-in. Instead I was only able to book a 5' x 8' box. The movers who came to load it informed me I could've rented up to a 26' truck. Would've been nice to know that. Then on the day of re-delivery, uhaul couldn't locate my box despite me providing reservation #, order #, and job #. It arrived late, so the original pair of movers I hired were no longer available at that time. My two teenagers had to help one mover by himself unload the box when I originally hired 2 movers. This wasn't the movers fault, I blame uhaul, since the original movers had to wait HOURS on the south Cypress uhaul facility to locate my box. My kids are a 15 yr. old boy and 18 yr old girl, and they don't have the strength to move heavy items. This resulted in several deep scratches to brand new wood flooring. Again, I indirectly blame uhaul, bc we were getting the contents of the box at 4:00 PM instead of between 8-10 AM like we were scheduled, and had they been on time, the movers would've handled that, not my kids. At one point when trying to locate my box, the uhaul rep asked me if I could describe the lock that was on the box. When I did, I was told "we think we found your box". It wasn't very reassuring to know there aren't systems in place to ensure boxes are stored and catalogued accurately, and that my box was being identified by a generic master lock that anyone could purchase at any store. I was also told their computer system crashed the weekend before my scheduled delivery. They just seemed very unreliable and the experience became very stressful. Being called by the movers and told "we've been here at the uhaul facility for a couple hours now, and they can't locate your box" was very unsettling. Big thumbs down.jennifer T.

Was told to return the truck at 9am the next morning, then received a text and a call stating to bring it back by 12pm. 3 hrs after I got it. The mileage was off and the gas was off. They tried to charge for more mileage. When I reserved the truck 2 weeks in advance, I received to pick up and drop off close to my location. They called the day before and said they didn't have my truck there that I had to pick it up several mes away. They just want you to pay for more mileage. I was told at the time of my pick up ( at a different location than original), that if I returned the truck ahead of the allotted time frame that I would get prorated. That turned out to be a lie. This lie caused me to leave a sick family member that I could have stayed to comfort for an extra day or two. When I returned the truck, Yuba City U haul gave me the Phoenix number to call, and they informed me that this was a false statement. I called the Cypress Texas U haul and talked to the General Manager, and the only she said was I trained the agent and that should not have happened. That LIE caused a lot of disruption in this whole grand scheme of things. I am not a complainer, so this is serious business to me. I am only writing this to your firm for the moment. If your company does not rectify this issue with me then I will be forced to go on every social media site and put down what I have written here.. I had 4 days left with the truck to use, deferring this time being under the impression of getting prorated.. You lied. If this practice is indicative of how you run your business, then I will take my business to one of your competitors from this time forward. Very sad. No Gold Stars for you. Brittany Rayburn has been such an amazing person to deal with from day 1. We have been using this U-Haul location for almost a year, renting the Cargo trailers monthly for our business. We are no longer using the cargo as much, however, we have now moved to rent parking space to park our own trailer now, and once again, Brittany has just been nothing but great at assisting us and helping us with the whole process. Great helpful staff. We were renting a medium Uhaul truck for 24 hours to assist us from our hour & moving into storage . ( Just sold our home.) We were planning use the truck to put our things in storage with another Storage Company. Upon arrival were told a 2nd floor storage unit was not available instead it was 1st floor & NOT climate controlled. We called the Uhaul staff where we rented the truck. It is just what we wanted & needed. 2nd floor Climate Controlled. It is a brand new building so very few Spaces are presently Leased. The only concern we have is the RAT trap that was in our unit. I put all my soft goods in Rubbermaid boxes for protection but boxes for the rest. We’ll see & hope/pray the rats steer clear of our stuff. I have visited numerous storage facility through the years for my own personal use as well as others, for the first time a storage facility that hit all the check boxes, 1. very helpful associates, and the manager goes above and beyond to be helpful. Facilities are very clean and love that the facilities have propane available to RV users! Love that. One other suggestion for your next mostly RV storage, add a dump station! Would be happy to pay a small fee each time it's used for the convenience and I'm sure others would also.
