We had an issue where the trailer requested wasn't available, and were automatically (without notice) were to go to another location. This location accommodated us with another trailer, and charged us the same amount. That was awesome, but not being notified our trailer wasn't available and then the being sent to another location is not a great experience. Thanks to this location, we didn't have any problems.

i rent TT 5122D 20' ft truck on 07/15/2019 and I get with just little less than a 3/8 of gas tank and I return with the mark between 3/8 and 1/2 and also today 07/15/2019 I get the truck with this tank mark between 3/8 and 1/2, and I use the truck for 21 miles I put gas 4 gallons, now I get my ticket and they charge me $11.70 for 2.6 gal of gas some is not right but is ok next time I just go different place to rent a truck about the clean and well maintenance need to take care more the units this truck have a noise when you turn because the bumper hit the tire on driver side thanks....

NO! Why was i charged 30$ for GAS When the vehicle was given to me empty!? No one was helping me (I had to check in on the APP) and when I returned the vehicle I let them know I filled up the GAS and then i was charged 30$??!!! I should NOT have even filled it! Terrible and a rip off.

I reserved a 15 foot truck. Was switched to a 10 foot truck the night before. Had to go back and get trailer and was charged 250 more! I had a miserable experience and everyone I interacted with was very rude and had no sense of urgency. They were texting while I tried to check out! Very frustrating

There was a problem with the side door of the Van I rented, and it made loading and unloading considerably more difficult. It would be worth making sure every last aspect of the equipment is in working order.

My reservation was originally somewhere a half mile away and then 15 min before it's supposed to start it changed to a location that was several miles and 25 min away. Frustrating because I had to extend my reservation by an hour to make up for that.

There were NO furniture pads, gravely damaging one sectional. The protective layer on the bottom was torn apart. This was an issue of grave concern for me because the guaranteed furniture pads were not there and our furniture was exposed all the way from Chicago to New York.

Be a bit more careful about the data you have on the trucks. The one I was picking up had about 4000 miles more that the paperwork showed. If I wasn't careful, I could have been a very sorry person. Needless to say, the staff was super helpful about sorting it out for me.

Everything in the experience was excellent except for I got charged for the less than quieter tank after I left. The gauge was over and I showed the guy so I wouldn’t get charged and still did. Poor service adding additional fees for more revenue.

2 warning lights displayed on the first cargo van given to me. One is for not enough tire pressure and nobody knows what the other one is. Luckily they have another van available and was able to change the paperwork quickly. Otherwise I might not able to deliver and set up wedding flowers and decorations in time for a wedding. Why Vehicle not checked before renting out???? Who knows what would happen to me or the vehicle if I didn't notice the warning lights!

Overall location is excellent. The management is very efficient. The only issue is an employee who is not able to operate PC keyboard because of extremely long nails glued to her fingers. Actually, she doesn't understand what she is doing at all. Sucks. Other than this it is a perfect place for any needs.

In my experience, I wouldn’t change anything. Your entire team at this location was very nice and super helpful! I went to check in two days prior to the pick up just to confirm my rental and to review if I needed anything. Kudos to the entire team at this location!

When I picked up the truck, it was the middle of three trucks and all three are parked VERY close to each other. There is no way I can drive it out. The staff was very helpful and drove the front truck to make way for me. Given the huge space you have in that location, maybe diagonally parking the truck would be a better idea and/or more convenient for future costumers.

When i get to the location to pick up i told the lady who brought me the cargo van to rent it can you please check with if there is anything wrong with the van than she said do not worry about it it's an old one but now they charged an extra $150 when i went to ask for what reason they told me i scratched the passemger door which is im positif i did not do it than they said that's a new van so we have charge you so i do not get it the day before when i asked them they said it's a. Old one now to charge me it was new one for that's a bullshit

They helped me out with the issue BUT I was the one who's had to keep calling in to figure out what was happening and why my reservation wasn't closed. Overall good, but their communication needs to improve. I'd say 7/10 overall experience

There were three other people ahead of me. Looked like I was going to have to wait a while. I was pre checked. Additional staff member showed up and quickly waited on me. The hoop up went smoothly and the technician did all the work to hoop up and make sure every thing was correct. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. Happy I came back and price was reasonable.

The Uhaul associate gave us a hard time about the gas being slightly below full upon return of our Uhaul 10' truck. It was a bit unreasonable, but we filled it up and came back.

Could not have been happier with her service. Other than her I had a rather poor experience - My first scheduled 24/7 pickup at 700 W Erie, Chicago IL was not available. I sat on the phone for over 30 minutes, only to hear that my reservation was not ready, and that I had to go to a new site 3 miles away (I live downtown Chicago, and this was at 5:30 pm during rush hour) I also didn't have a car because I walked to the first location and had to take a cab

I didn’t complain to management, but the van was dirty on the outside. Additionally the gas tank wasn’t full. They said it would be adjusted, but I couldn’t appear to be, on the receipt. But the staff was friendly and helpful.

Location isn't terrific because I had to drive through the city during morning rush hour to get there and back, but other than that all was good. I had requested a place that wasn't quite so difficult to get to during rush hour, but they switched my location. It's not terrific (or safe!) driving in city traffic in a big truck I'm not yet familiar with.

Have the reserved equipment at the specified location that was requested when we made the reservation. This has happened more often than not. We made this reservations 3 months prior to pick up yet we still had to go to a different location than the one we picked to get the equipment we requested.

This was my first time renting a uhaul truck. I arrived late to pick up my truck and they couldn’t find my reservation because it had been cancelled. When making the reservation the young woman who attended us was very nice. She told me I could pick up my truck any time after 11am. When I arrived for the actual pick up the next day my reservation was cancelled. The manager and another staff member told us that they usually cancel reservations when customers are 30 minutes to an hour late which is understandable but not something I knew. The manager wasn’t very helpful and asked when and how I made my reservation in order to figure out who we spoke to the night before and he said she wouldn’t make a mistake like not telling us. He repeatedly said I just have misunderstood her because she wouldn’t do a mistake like that, over and over. He was not very understanding of my situation and kept on assuming I was wrong because his staff wouldn’t do that but he wasn’t there nor did he even try to contact her. People make mistakes, I made my reservation late, I think it would’ve been fair to consider that maybe she did tell us the truck would be available after 11. That maybe she didn’t clearly tell us we had to be on time or it would be cancelled. I had the truck reserved for 8 hours so I assumed I was just loosing out on my time not that it would be cancelled. Eventually another staff member found an available truck for us and helped us get everything sorted out so we could still rent a truck but the conversation with the manager was very unpleasant. The process of moving is no easy task and can be frustrating, and the manager at the Uhaul South Loop did not help this situation.

I don't see anything needed to improve. This is by far the nicest uhaul location. Sadie (sorry I am probably getting her name wrong) was so friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to make me feel valued as a customer. All of the staff I encountered were all smiles!

when i return the pickup truck, a nice uhaul lady received my truck. i gave my citco gas receipt. $3.00. she want to return the money to me, she was nice, i told it . its ok. but she gave my credit for the 3 dollar.

When we returned the vehicle we were told that we had gone over the mileage by 50 miles. We had only driven the vehicle 4 miles which is what we had estimated. Also, they did not do a walk through with us and said that they would issue a credit to us this time. They also charged us for furniture quilts which were not in the truck. We were told they would give us a credit for that, but they did not. I would pick another location for renting from u-haul. I don't trust this one.

They messed up our mileage and even though we put $10 worth gas back in the tank after only traveling 28 miles, they charged us an extra $40+ for gas. I’m no mathematician but that shit just don’t make sense.
