Our pickup was delayed by about an hour due to the previous customers. Kevin, the manager, was the only person working at the time and he was busting his butt to help several other customers with pickup and drop off. He was extremely apologetic for the wait and gave us a discount for the trouble. He's an extremely valuable employee, but in order for this location to be functional it desperately needs more help.

They just need to make sure when the tell the customer if the gas tank is a half or full for sure. And make sure the millage is correct also.

I picked up the truck on 8/17/2020 and I went home. After opening up the back of the truck, we were greeted by a mass of roaches. I immediately called the location and informed Darius and he apologized and instructed me to come back to switch the vehicle. When I returned to the location, I asked for some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and Darius told me that he wasn't sure on what discounts he could give. The next day, my husband and I inquired again about the compensation for the inconvenience and we were instructed to call the General Manager. I left him a message on 8/18/2020 and I have not received a call as of today. I was told that he returns to work today. This was not a pleasant experience and quite disgusting!

When I made my reservation 5 days prior by phone (call center) I requested the location at Woodmere. My confirmation arrived the day before pick up with a different location. I phoned this location and asked if all of the supplies I had ordered would also be there and ready for pick up along with the truck. I was told yes. AT the pickup and am told they had everything already in the truck as the took a utility dolly and moving pads to the truck. Only to find out that I was only given pads, a utility and appliance dolly. I was missing the furniture dolly and over $200. worth of packing supplies (boxes, dish pack, paper,wrap etc) I phone back to pick up location and the guy said he didn't show any of this on his computer,. Could I send him a photo of the supply list and reservation showing the furniture dolly. I did and was told it was all at the Woodmere location. We then go to Woodmere location to pick it up and after more than 30 min of confusion we get the items and leave.. We get back to the house only to discover they had not included 25 small boxes. I have to make yet another trip back to Woodmere location to get those.This location hasn't a clue to customer service or problem solving at all.. All of this is happening in the rain. I called and confirmed every item on the list with the pick up location so as to make this as stress free as possible , yet had to make 3 trips before I got all of the supplies I paid for. I even went so far as to tell the young man the purpose of the rental. My mother passed away in June after a long battle with cancer. This "move" was part of clearing out her home. The added stress of the situation with the supplies was NOT appreciated.

The location was perfect but the reservation online experience and regional customer service and scheduling dept was rude, and didn't care about the overall rental experience. I would never refer anyone to U-Haul

I payed for 2 dollys to be in the back of the truck and there weren't any when I picked the truck up from the location in Montgomery, AL. I had to borrow one from the location on Opelika Road in Auburn, AL. But I already know because one of my friends had told me U-Haul does some shady stuff that I'm about to be charged for 2 missing dollys. I should've taken their advice and you can BET I'll never recommend this company if I see extra charges on my account.

A little faster checkout, I stood in line for about 20 minutes. Loved the check back in, fast and easy in and out in 6 minutes.

The pickup locations were very nice and professional. But my issue isn't with them it's with whoever schedules your fleet. After setting up my reservation online I went to the location in Prattville Alabama to purchase some boxes and ask about the trailer in also rented. They were helpful and answered all my questions. The day before I was to pick up my truck and trailer I received a call that I had to go to the South Montgomery lactation to get my equipment. I arrived and the gentleman told me I had to go to Millbrook to pick up my trailer. Which is 25 miles away. So I went up to Millbrook and grabbed the trailer and went back to the south Montgomery location to pick up my Jeep. After loading it up the manager checked it out and said I was good to go, much appreciated. Then I had to drive back home in Prattville to my home to start packing. So I drove 97 miles just to pick up my equipment and the uhaul center in Pratville is only 3 miles from my home. I did go back to them to purchase some more boxes and asked about why my equipment was all over and not at one location. He told me it was because I was going one way. Come on Uhaul, you can do better then this. I've used you many times, as I do move a lot, but never had an experience like this. When did the customer come second? Why would I have to drive all over Alabama and pick up my equipment. I always thought you were supposed to make my trip easier and my difficult. I would love to chat with someone about this from the cooperate level, the two guys I picked up from were awesome. Please call me at 702-701-4913

I had to go to three places for my item. The first location on Eastern Boulevard did not open or call. When I did get my item, the location was nice, attendant courteous, and equipment clean.

This U-Haul rental was a very good experience. I work with the associate Kevin to get my truck that I need it. He called me ahead of time to inform you the truck was ready and to introduced himself. I picked up my truck and I was ready to go. Returning the truck was something that was different and new. Everything was touchless and I made my return on my cell phone. I just had to answer a couple of questions and take a few pictures and I was able to return my vehicle after hours. Everything was great.

Make sure your vehicles are FULLY INSPECTED before renting them out to customers. My husband was concerned about the tire on the trailer before we left UHAUL and I TOLD HIM I'm sure it's ok they have to inspect all their rentals. Boy, was I wrong down the road the tires started coming off and it was a scary experience for my family and I. My husband was furious and the truck was a very very old uhual truck as well. Just not a good experience traveling and especially when you are on a time limit and had to wait a total of 4 hours before we could get back on the road!

The corporate u-haul, on line pre pick-up registration process does not streamline the process as every time I have completed the information I have to again go through the process at the local pick up site. Additionally, when choosing a location (an option on your website) and then the product, your system will reassign the pickup location without notifying the user that this is different from the location selected. This has happened to me on two separate occasions and is frustrating.

I hate moving. With that said, today's move went as easily as it could possibly go, and that began with our first stop at Uhaul. Rick could not have been any nicer or helpful. Check in was fast and easy as was the return. This was far and away my best experience with Uhaul ever, and yes, I will use this location if I ever need to move something again. Rick made the whole day a bit better for me and my grown children. .
