You change my location without contacting me. The truck was clean but the tire pressure was 41 34,32,31. I booked this over the phone with a representative gave verified my address and phone #. When I got to the location no truck my number was wrong in the computer and there were 2 trucks on the lot but they made me go to a location further away from my house. Y'all advertise the 10' trucks are $19.99 but I payed almost $150 for 5 hours! Why advertise one price then it's way more expensive! The tow dolly initially assigned to us was not working. Specifically, the signal lights were not functional. Luckily, there was a spare one at the relocation for reassignment. Otherwise, it would have severely endangered and delayed our cross-country military move. The location should ensure the equipment is working before assigning it to a customer.Jennifer W.

The vehicle trailer had 2 broken chains and the front left wheel tie down got loose several times on my trip. By the time I realized it I had already rented the equipment, but I reported the issue when I dropped it off. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice if the folks here had inspected the vehicle trailer before giving it to me.Jonathan T.

I was not given any furniture pads and had to drive back to the store to receive them. My container was 4 days late arriving to my destination as well. I was told I would get a $10.00 credit for both issues which I don't think was fair I feel like you should check the trucks before you rent them he just pointed to the truck and that aas it. Booked a 10x10x10 unit 2 months in advance from my move. Had a reservation number and when I arrived they told me they had no units available so I would have to go to another location. The location they recommended was closed on that particular day. The staff was kind to work with me and offer 2 of the 5x10x10 units that they did have available. The problem lies with the booking process when calling uhaul. Don’t allow a reservation for a unit that is not available and does not exist. The overall experience was worse than awful. I am a repeat customer and have never seen such a horrible experience. I made reservation like 10 days in advance and completed online check-in. Arrive at Uhaul Woodmere, stand in line for 35 minutes to be told my reservation had been moved to Prattville, 15 miles away. I asked if the truck would be there when I got there and I was told yes. As I am driving into Prattville, I received a call from customer service- turns out my reservation was not only moved to a different city, it was moved from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. She was able to move to a larger truck that was available at South Montgomery- we agree it would be available at 9:45 so I turn around and drive back to Montgomery. After standing in line for another 20+ minutes, I hear â€œWe don't have a truck â€œ. Turns out the other clerk was in the process of giving my truck to someone else. We were able to resolve it but apparently reservations mean nothing at Uhaul. There were three other customers there whose stories were very similar to mine. Also, I was NEVER notified that my reservation was changed. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!WILLARD M.

They charged me for gas when I put the uhaul over where it was. My total was 79.85 and they still cleared $112 out my bank account and charged an $112 for storage unit when reservation said first month free. Then I now see a pending charge of an extra $65 plus on my debit card I will be returning tomorrow. Never will I ever use them again.Melissa M.

I had a 10' van and tow dolly. I towed a Kia Rio behind the van. The power was adequate, but stability was rather loose. I would like to recommend that UHaul only allow towing be performed with dually chassis vehicles.Mark M.

I was told that my 26ft truck can be pulled into the storage on the part that was assigned as I proceed to do so I hit the top part..so why did that happened because they failed to tell me that it's broken & now I can't pull in. This is after I go & ask why was I told to pull in knowing their pull in space is broken. I don't not like being misinformed. The damage was not much because I was backing up slow...But just imagine if I wasn't. Because of this information was very important...so yes im dissatisfied with this particular part of my move..The other part was compensated. This was 1 of my worst moving. Poor experience began on Mobile Hwy which latter created an issue at this location. Same is true with the final truck rent. This location claimed there was no one way rent truck for me as far as Salma only to learn leaving the location and 30 minutes prior to closing there was one on Mobile Hwy. After renting and dropping off, what was informed was learning to not be the end result. U-Haul nor it’s staff in that error does not seem to keep or honor their word even when after holding the phone extensively to make reservations and constantly hear the call is being recorded, does U-Haul see that Customer satisfaction is priority. Lady at the front desk was so rude. I asked her to show me the unit and she refused. She only showed me on the wall but refused to take me to the actual unit. Was not friendly at all.
