The staff was excellent to work with in person. Trying to reach U-Haul by telephone is almost impossible! Be prepared to wait in excess of 1 hour on hold to have a phone call answered, and the Online Chat did not help at all - a BOT kept asking how they could help, but there was never a response. Phone and online services are very frustrating. Recording says you can make scheduling changes online, nice in theory, but website didn't work to reschedule a U-Box pickup. Great in-person, frustrating (not helpful) online, very difficult to reach by phone.Vicki P.

Get the original reservation correct. I showed up at the location that I requested and they had no trailers. That's when I had to go to the above location.Clifford F.
Crystal the general manager and Mimi were great and took care of me well. Even with the system down and my rental delayed 1 day, both of them cared for me well and added 50 additional miles for a mixup on location that was U-Haul's fault. 2 bad things were: 1) The site In Southaven did not do a walk through with me or place an â€œXâ€ on a scratch on the right side of the truck 2) The online survey to put the conditions of the U-Haul would not open when I clicked it so I could not note damages. That hurt me when I returned to Baton Rouge as they asked about issues that I inherited from picking up the U-Haul in the Southaven Location.Kevin M.

This location needs signage for customers dropping off vehicles. There are no directions to indicate the northernmost entrance is for drop-off, and no directions to correct the customer's misdirection once inside the parking lot. Having employees yelling and pointing at the back of the building is inefficient and a little insulting.Brandon A.

The staff at the front desk there were three of them I believe was just massive chaos took him about 20 minutes to give me my truck and I had already checked in and then put my driver's license number and it sent pictures of it and all of the above when I got the truck it was me Dio clearly clean immediately the engine light was on and then after about 5 miles then the low tire light came on the air pressure in the tires were not none of them were matching and upon return really didn't know what to do with the keys no one was there to check me in the guy came in after me while I was waiting in line to return the truck and said I need the keys out here well someone should have been standing out here to get themWilliam S.

Due to the bad weather, extra measures should be put into place, the back of the truck was frozen, it took almost 2 whole hours to get the back to let up!!! This put a big delay on my destination and the windshield wipers were a mess!!! EXACTLYYYY where I needed to see clear vision as the wipers wiped, but didn't clean off windshield properly leaving skips forced me to drive extremely at a reduced speed!!! At check in we noticed the time we would return the truck was wrong. It said 7am and we needed the truck until 5pm the same day. I told the person handling my pick up and she said call a couple of days before drop off and extend it. We tried to do that but could not get anyone to answer the phone at the location. Called the 1-800 number who said we had to contact the store. Ended up having to go up to the store where no one was at the desk. Finally someone came out. I'm not sure of her name but she was rude and mad we needed to extend the date although we tried to make the dates right when we picked the truck up. Overall we would not use U-haul again. This was our first experience but we spent a lot of time trying to extend our rental date when it could have been handled at pick up and encountered a lot of rude workers.Dustin H.

We used UHaul for storage and for truck/equipment rental. While the truck was missing the equipment when we initially got it, they remedied that issue immediately! We needed storage while we closed on our house, and storage was a very smooth and easy process! Our items were secure, and climate controlled! I will be using the Southaven location again ☺️! Most individuals that are working professionals have only Saturday or Sunday to transact business! If you are a parent of an active youngster Saturday’s are booked! I had to move furniture from a restaurant and I only had so much time. But your opening hours on Sunday were somewhat inconvenient! 9 am hurt and pushed back the schedule in which I planned!
