Rates changed without being notified and when I called to speak with someone she was a Lil rude and unprofessional. I don't like unexpected charges.

Cecil CNeed extended access hours without the excessive fee. Some people need to be able to access their unit at any time and should not have to be charged extra for it. Word of advice, just charge extra on the front end to allow 24 hour access to one’s own personal belongings. U-Haul is virtually holding tenants property hostage because they can’t afford to pay the extra for 24 hour access. Not fair!!! Other than that rant, everything else is a ok!!!!

MATTHEW Jtrailer lighting harness was bad (frayed wiring visible) and blew a fuse in my vehicle. Location didn't have another trailer and didn't have the ability to fix, so I took it home and fixed it myself. Would have been nice to have been offered a discount on the rental for my trouble (took about 2 hours to repair). All in all, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Wasn't a bad experience, but wasn't excellent either.

Charles BI have rented two trailers from this location the only 5'x8' trailer in inventory and the only 4'x7' trailer in inventory. Both trailers are terrible when it comes to the tail lights, lighting, and the wiring harness that plugs into your vehicle electrical trailer plug adapter. In both rentals I ended up having to transport my equipment on the trailers at night and was alerted each time by a stranger driving beside me saying that the trailers didn't have lights on the rear. Each trailer rental made me very nervous due to possibly being pulled over by law enforcement at night and possibly receiving a citation due to operating a trailer at night with no lights. Renting both trailers in these conditions are completely unacceptable!! These two trailers need to be repaired properly or need to be replaced immediately! The staff on both visits were great but the two trailers I have rented are trash!! Uhaul needs to fix these trailers ASAP!! Not sure if there are any other trailers in the same conditions but as a customer I suggest that all trailers on the lot need to be inspected throughly!! Thanks UNHAPPY trailer rental customer!!
THOMAS RWe rented a pull behind trailer for a week. When my husband went to pick up and drop off the trailer, there was only small young girls working. He had to pick the trailer up himself to put on truck. He has back problems and this caused an issue. If I had gone to do it, we would have been screwed. I feel like you should have a man scheduled for each shift for these scenarios.

But I just recently moved all of my belongings out and at the time when I got the storage unit my bedroom set was only a couple of months old. With that being said I had a supposed temperature controlled units but one of the side rail boards for the bed framed was warped as if it had been exposed to moisture. Other than that all of my items were fine.

ARVINDBHAI PTrailers need to be redesigned with jacks under the tongue. If it’s loaded and tongue heavy, it’s difficult to lift off and on a hitch if I needed to be detached.

CORI OThe only and main problem that I have is the tiny font size of my U Haul equipment contract. It's too small for anyone to read. Why are the borders so very wide...making it even more difficult to read and verify cost matrix. I took a picture of documents with phone just to enlarge it, and now it's too grainy to read. I hoped you emailed me a copy that's readable but I can't find it.
ANTHONY MFIX THE ELEVATOR!!!! When someone has a unit on the 2nd floor, they expect the elevator to be in very good working order. The elevator is vital to moving things in and out of a 2nd floor unit. Especially heavier and large items, such as furniture. Having to use the stairs because you do not consider the elevator a priority, can, will, and is resulting in loss of customers. The elevator must be a priority in order to maintain good customer service. It is in your best interest as a business, to maintain and keep the elevator working properly. Not prioritizing the working condition of your elevator can and will most likely affect your profit margins. It also becomes a safety hazard. Should someone get hurt, trying to use an improperly working elevator, or because they are forced to try to use the stairs, may be grounds for law suit due to negligence. FIX AND MAINTAIN YOUR ELEVATOR!

He also spoke sarcastically with every response; not mean, but excessive use of sarcasm in the presence of consumers. The trigger was me trying 3 times to get into the storage unit with a card that is as NOT programmed, A storage unit that was NOT unoccupied, and then a GATE that would not open. I’m done. I plan to cancel my storage request, while keeping the truck rental, due to these incidents. The facility, however, appeared clean and well maintained.

I was having a very hard time that day personally and watching Marsha single-handedly supporting the line of people present in front of me and on the phone with such skill and charisma really made my day. ANTHONY IThey were several reasons I rated: 1. We were told to go and expected the truck ourselves 2. There were items in truck( we had to dump) 3. Gas gauge wasn’t correct . It’s raining so we had to take pic of gas gauge, truck# and etc. Customer service was terrible.
BIRTA FThe employee didn't show up to open the store until 8 when customers had 7, 7:15, 7:30 and 7:45 appointments for pickup. The employee showed up a few minutes before 8 and waited to enter the store after he witnessed 5 or 6 customers leave for other U-Haul locations. My receipt identifies this employee as Joshua C. Joshua was bit arrogant and offered no apology for the tardiness. The truck that I rented was not located where i was instructed to retrieve it and I had to walk around the parking lot to match the truck number with the key. The truck odometer showed different mileage from the mileage reflected on my rental paperwork. The truck was loud due to an exhaust issue and the inside was dirty. Upon returning the truck I experienced more sarcasm and unprofessionalism from this employee. He seemed irritated that I was not familiar with the return protocol as he was on his cell phone having a personal conversation. Thankfully I will not be in need of your services anytime soon. Terrible experience!

MARICO PWell this my 3rd time getting over charged simple cause they were to lazy to go out and check in the auto transporter .. I've been calling to resolve the issue and every time they saying they're going to look over it but I still haven't received my receipt showing that it have been resolved
TERRANCE BPer the main U-Haul website, and again on the location's own inventory sheet, I was informed that they had, available to rent, a 6x12 open trailer with ramp. Which is exactly the trailer I needed to move my son's tools. He's a certified auto technician and they collect a LOT of tools over time. When I got to the location, I was informed the trailer I was told I was renting was not available. It had been stolen 8-9 months earlier. Which doesn't explain why it was still listed as part of their inventory available to rent. I ended up having to rent the smaller trailer and make more trips than originally planned. This includes using the full back of my Expedition as well as the trunk and back seat of my son's car! Be careful - call the store direct and make sure they actually have available what the computer says they have available.

We would have liked to utilize your services longer but you simply priced us out from your facility. Every year, over the years we were with you your prices went up. After all the trucks and storage rooms that we have used at your facility’s, and the duration of time we have used you, it would seem that some loyalty would have been applied to your long term customers

He found me a truck to get next day but milage info was quoted wrong.

WALTER Bmy rental truck had a digital meter on it that told how much gas was consumed. Before returning, I refilled the gas tank with the used amount PLUS an extra 1/4 gallon just to be sure. U-Haul still said it was 2 gallons short and charged me an extra $6.00, arguing that the fuel gauge didn't match what was on the contract.

I get to Mississippi the storage size that I had a reservation for wasn’t available therefore I had to get a larger size that I did not need. The staff was not empathetic what so ever. I as the customer was inconvenienced and I have to pay more money for a larger storage unit. No discount for my inconvenience was offered.

She struggles just to ask you a question, with some type of decency. It appears she hates her job. When we were there, she was talking very loud and with a rough tone, to one of the male associates. She was refusing to rent to my Son, because She and I had a disagreement in the past, about an access card that wasn't working. Two of my neighbors have also left that location, only because of Ms. Coleman. I would like to give much GRATITUDE to STEVEN GARRETT, Company President. He is a great example of Top Level Management, in keeping with their goals, of providing excellent customer service. My son notified him with this issue and he took care of the problem immediately. We had been renting from that location for over a year, with early payments at all times. Even though our problem got resolved, we felt like we needed to change facilities, to avoid other problems in the future. Thank you again Mr. Garrett for resolving our issue. A+

Head manager has not contacted me and its been 3 weeks. No one offered me a discount or anything to ease the situation. Customer restroom is filthy every time i went into it. Garage doors and sliding doors were open upon my arrival on most visits ( not secure ) Since I could not be contacted and no one showed concern, I felt targeted and unsafe. Local authorities have assured me that break ins are normal at this location, and internal employees seem to be involved. This is sad that i had to move out because I really liked the facility despite the long hallway, and security issues. But without security - whats the point??? Signed- Angry customer who will never use Uhaul again and I will encourage others the same!

I had 5 boxes of magnificent flowers that were given to me for the passing of a loved one . 2 boxes of the were taken. The ribbons were taken off the boxes and left on the floor and someone had stepped on one of the lids. Items had been knocked off the shelves they were stored on and boxes were opened that had previously been taped closed. If the lock was tampered with I would hope that someone at the facility would have reached out to me.

I wouldn't recommend this uhaul at all. In come to find out they have other theft cases open at this uhaul.

Dave K | Overall ExperienceI was supposed to get a $39 rate that was set when I made my reservation, and when I moved in they confirmed that rate so I signed the agreement. The first month was free, but after that they charged me $49! I called to correct it, and all the staff would say is the rate must have gone up. I received no notice in mail or email about a rate change. When the rate did officially change in 2022, I did get an email and paper notice (as required by law). So, I know they just charged me the wrong rate and refused to correct it though I contacted several times.

Gail D | First ImpressionsMy storage apparently was apart of a fire and water damage that we (the customers) didn't find out about until the day after it happened at almost 10pm via an automatic text. I lost so much of my stuff due to the fire and water damage. Furniture, tv, purses, clothes, my degrees and so much more. Most greatly I lost things that were irreplaceable, like all of the memories and valuables my siblings and I had stored away of our late father, I mourned for days I felt like I was reliving that day I got the news all over again; I was crushed! And all these people could compensate for myself and so many others was 1000 measly dollars. A storage is suppose to be a safe place we’re people store their valuables, important documents, and life long treasures not a place where you leave your things only to come back to things being destroyed, damaged or tampered with. I’m still trying to rebuild after that traumatic incident. I pray to God that I’m never in a situation where I’d need these people again because they are cruel, heartless, and highly unprofessional!

James O | First ImpressionsThere was a fire???? And the sprinklers went off and flooded the bottom floor. We weren’t able to go in for 2 days. When we were able to go in there were still puddles of water on the floor which was dangerous. The air was not working. It was suffocating. By the end of the day they had set up dehumidifiers and fans. They did have help to empty your units and help you but if you valued your belongings you did it yourself. This was horrible. It seems to me uhaul fills like if you have things in storage it is not valuable to you. I have always used uhaul and I will never again.. it is not due to the employees at this facility but because of corporate and their risk management team. We had a big loss including our deductible and our time that it took to pull everything g out and unpack and repack boxes.

I had to move furniture from a restaurant and I only had so much time. But your opening hours on Sunday were somewhat inconvenient! 9 am hurt and pushed back the schedule in which I planned! So if moving the Sunday hours up a couple of hours are a real matter that can be changed, it would be great!
