The process was easy. Everything was ready when I got there. I had reserved my truck online. The truck did seem to pull a little to the left at speeds over 60. But not a horrible pull. The rate was good I got the insurance because I got a bigger truck than I usually drive.

Trucks were overbooked and I was pressured to get the truck back by 4pm (I picked up at 945). This gave me a little over 6 hours to complete my move. When I booked it, I indicated an 8-4 rental but also knew the rate was for 24 hours. This was confirmed by the clerk. No discount, no thank you. Just, “I don't know why they alway do this.” And “have it back by 4”. Your overbooking should not be my problem. I will not be using This location again and frankly, am not likely to use U- haul again. Wade steenhoek (515) 418-0365.

Nothing but problems with my reservation and communication with the customer service women there... More intent to speak to my son instead of me about the issues... Needed to pull a travel trailer behind - upon calling in, stated they had a 2 5/16" ball to put on - they never stated 2" balls were welded on - offset location for other @4", and had to pay @$70 onsite for that! Then no pin to go with hitch, another $4! They lost the keys to the 15ft truck, which ended up being in the woman's jacket pocket! Very disappointed with these women - i have used this location before and no problems EVER - this was a bad taste in my mouth, hopefully never use them again... Was a rip in the drivers seat and the tank was only 1/3 full... dirty inside van body...

Truck was very clean and easy to handle. Price was excellent and will use again. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and informative. Do always check the gas as ours was not completely full but they did reimburse when we filled back up to over full.

The manager was very unprofessional and rude. My unit end up getting mice from someone who brought them in the building for the third time. An Uhaul employee informed me that it was the third time that the building had mice.

I am QUITE frustrated that the UHaul location IN INDIANOLA--where I WANTED to return the trailer does not accept drop offs! HOW is that serving the customer??? How do you allow your franchise named to be used, yet they don't accommodate your customer? Why is it MY problem if they have an over abundance of trailers and/or truck rentals? (I don't even know if that is why they wouldn't accept drop offs. I HAD to go another 20+ miles and the extra time to return what should have been a 5 minute trip.

I had reserved a 10' truck, but when I arrived they didn't have one. So the rep gave me a 15' at the price of a 10'. I thought that was generous.

The staff were not friendly nor attentive. The store required face masks upon entering yet the two employees working were not wearing face masks. My account was also overcharged and I am still awaiting a response from the store.

I have rented two U-haul trucks in the last 6 months. Both times I requested a regular two-wheel dolly during my online reservation process. Both times when I went to pick up the truck I was told that there were no available dollys. This makes moving boxes and furniture much more difficult. U-haul obviously needs to have more dollys on hand at every pick-up location. This is a vital piece of equipment that needs to be available with every truck.

Originally had a reservation to pick up auto transport from 101 63rd west dsm. Got there was told no equipment available and was made to come back to current location at 630 when one would be available. I live 40 minutes away so was very 😡 with the whole situation!!! Cost me several trips and a full tank of gas!!!! Was told no discount for clearly uhauls mistake!!!! Really put a burden on my day!!! Very dissatisfied as a returning customer!!!!!

I want to make sure you know that the woman that hooked up the trailer was exceptional. She was very polite and made sure the trailer was cleaned out and mopped before left. It was a good experience even though they were busy she took the time to make sure everything was perfect.

Pickup was scheduled for 7am however the day of pickup, no employee was there at this location and it was completely closed until 2 girls that looked like they rolled straight from bed and still drunk opened the store at about 8:20am-8:30 am showed up to open the location and give us keys to start our out of town location. I was to receive a credit due to the mishap and that didn't happen. I'll never refer anyone to that one. Very disappointing and cause an even longer move and more money since i hired helpers to move and they sat and did nothing for over the 1st hour.

It was a little disorganized. The utility dollie was not in the vehicle. So even though I checked in via the app, I had to go get the dollie inside. I was trying to avoid that. But, it went decently smooth. I know what to expect the next time I rent a vehicle.

It could have been an excellent rating. I have tried numerous times to reach uhaul by phone. Both at the local number and the 800 number. All attempts were unsuccessful. A 20 minute wait time to answer the phone is unacceptable. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry can I reach them when something goes wrong. Please review your phone system.

I made a reservation for 3 days for an enclosed trailer. After just one night I receive a call from the manager, Bailey, threatening that if I don't bring the trailer back immediately, I would be given a large fine. I asked that they look at my contract that clearly states how long I'll be renting the trailer, but she just keeps saying that there policy is no rental is longer than 24 hours. I explain again that I made this reservation weeks ago and also confirmed when I picked it up, that I would have it 3 days. I was charged for 3 days. I then hang up and get a text message from bailey, again threatening me with a large fine. Her behavior as a manager is unacceptable. Even when I was picking up I heard her talking to her co-workers about leaving threatening messages for people who hadn't paid for their storage units that if they didn't pay immediately, their possessions would be auctioned off on the 15th. When another employee asked of they were really going to hold an auction, she said no that she just threatens them with that so they'll pay. I'm a local realtor and home stager and have spent thousand of dollars renting from you, however I will never ever be renting anything from your company ever again as long as that manager is still employed. And you can be sure that I will be sharing my experience on social media in the industry groups that I belong to.

Truck wasn't full of gas. I received it 1/2 hour late. I filled it to full for a 25 mile trip it cost almost $30. So no I didn't enjoy my experience. I wasn't Compte for the extra gas I put in that I should've.

I arrived and waited 30 minutes for the employee to help me. There were four other couples in line by this point. She was swearing and running around, obviously overwhelmed. She asked my last name, I gave it to her. She stated there was no reservation there. I gave her my confirmation number. She told me she didn't have that size truck. I had no choice but to take the truck, make two trips, twice the gas, mileage, and time. When I arrived outside of her, she threw the blankets I rented and I asked her to stop acting like this. She then said, “you don't have to be a bitch. If you don't want the truck, leave it.” I explained I really wanted what I ordered but was in town for one weekend to move and she left me no choice. She was overwhelmed and I normally give people a lot of grace. She however was so out of line. Another complaint is that I was charged $20 when returning the truck that night. Your check-in website does not work. Maybe because it wasn't connected to my reservation. I called the customer service number and was going to have to wait for almost 30 mins. This again shows a lack of customer service. I will defiantly not rent from this location nor recommend to anyone.

Told the gentleman that i would need it to move my motorcycle. Shouldn't be more than an hour or two with a max of 50 miles. Told me the estimated price for that would be about 61$ an some change An any miles not used i wouldnt be charged for. Came back in 1.5 hours and used 23 miles was charged the 61 with an additional 16$ an some change with a dolly charge as well. Rented from the Uhaul on the east side next to the old kmart about 2 months ago when i was moving an got a 15ft cube van with a ramp, used 25 miles, an the bill was under 50$. Definitely wont recommend and definitely wont be using this location again. Will also be uploading review to social media because i cant even get ahold of the place now to even inquire as to why the bill was so high when i was quoted a different price in the first place.

Did not like the procedure of the employee using his smart phone to take a picture of my drivers licences and then down load it on the company computer. Very concerned about my privacy with my licences on his phone for him to use (if he chooses) to use for any other purpose...VERY CONCERNED!!!!

Only comment I have is I was overcharged few weeks ago and the issue is still not resolved. Talked to several people and plan on calling again. Need immediate refund of the overcharge on miles. The parking and loading/unloading situation is very unwieldy. Vehicles often have to block one another and the main exit lane was blocked by a truck. The location probably needs more parking space.
