The service seemed substantially different from the last time I visited this location. I used to go out of my way to come here because the people were so kind and helpful; however, this time around, I was made uncomfortable and the woman who "helped" me at pick-up made me feel like an inconvenience. She literally seemed to be in agony every time she had to ask me each question for making my rental. Funny thing is I registered online to make everyone's life easier, but then this happened. During the return of my rental, I encountered a different customer service woman and the interaction was better but again it seemed as if the customers were not a priority. Several customers and I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes before being assisted. One of us called to the back where we heard chatter between the mechanics and the woman who ended up being the front-counter person on duty. She heard our call, but barely ackowledged us nor communicated how much longer we'd be standing there. To say the least, moving is already stressful and expensive. As DIY movers, our time matters and the customer service matters to us. This isn't a quick stop at the gas station. It was discouraging and, honestly, uncomfortable to give my information and hundreds of dollars to people who seemed to not even want me there in the first place.Tracey G.

Saturday was extremely busy and the manager apparently doesn't work the weekends, except if the store was overrun. It was and the manager decided NOT to come in. However, the one person attending the store was amazing. This stores manager needs some additional training to have a healthier understanding of customer service.Fredrick W.

Have installers who are trained to do the job right. My wiring harness was simply laid across the rear axle and shorted out. The ground screw was screwed straight through my rear quarter panel. They forgot to include the ball for the hitch and I had to drive 30 minutes back to the facility where I picked it up without any apology. Very poor work and service.Daniel W.

One of the blankets had vomit on it or maybe it was just spaghetti but that was pretty gross. It would have been great for the air conditioner to have worked. I want to mention Paul, and Aaron in Graham. They went above and beyond even though my Toyota RAV4 wasn't compatible with your trailers. At least they tried. Adaysha (sp?) At the spanaway location. On the due date for my payment for storage I painted in the morning secured another storage area and went to get a refund for the storage that I had at U-Haul and was told that they could not would not give me a refund it hadn't even been 2 hours since I paid the thing and they wouldn't give me my money back so ended up stealing $250 from me I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone you are thieves.Michael D. | Overall Experience

I was given wrong information about a van I rented tell me if I ride the van for more than a 100 miles then my mileage rate would drop down to .39 cents a mile from $1.09. The manager when paying advised me the employee that help me was new and gave out wrong information. So I hade to pay for adding extra mileage. They failed to provide correct information and I had to pay more than I wanted.Angel S.

Dump trailer had garbage in it when we went to pick up - pipe, etc. We had to take it out and throw in dumpster. Trailer had significant damage on both sides which was not showing on their pictures. We had to bring it to their attention and were told to take picture to add to theirs.Stephen A.

Guy who checked me out was very helpful, but the lady who checked me in seemed like she was pushing to charge me a cleaning fee saying the van smelled like manure. Yeah so the truck no gas in it when picked it up. The customer servixe person told me if i put 1/4 gas in it upon my return i would be credited. I put 50 dollars worth of gas. I only drive the uhaul 14 miles. I only recieved 13 dollar credit for 50 worth of gas. Doesnt seem fair. And the other part of this when i call to talk to a rep its a 30 to 40 minute wait only to be disconected. I will never us uhaul again and i have been a long time customer. Bad businessChad S.

Donisha and Joey were cheerful, professional, courteous, and quick in getting my trailer hitched and checked out. They helped me keep my day on track to get important errands done this morning. The oil light was on as soon as I got home. The Uhaul storage place had EXTREMELY bad service, even got yelled at from the storage place then the next morning from this location. Due to all the issues had to cancel the storage, still awaiting for the storage refund, find another storage place in 98 degree weather, return the truck at 11:51pm due to the call wait of over 30 minutes to get ahold of anyone. Then got charged double for 2 days even though it was all in 1 day on daily fee, and Safemove fee. Also got charged for 4 gallons of gas even though the gas guage is inaccurate per the pictures I took. Had to call to get a detailed receipt next morning, then got a call from this place to get yelled at again. This was literally the worst transaction ever we have dealt with. I've used Uhaul in AZ, CA, and prior in WA with no service like we encountered. We will NEVER use Uhaul again, and posted about this transaction on all social media apps available.Chelsea G.

The personnel here at this location very knowledgeable as to where some of your people at uhaul corporate level aren't. I was looking for a final receipt to a truck that I rented in Wyoming and the reservation that the company I contract too didn't give me all the reservation numbers and the people at the Corp level couldn't even get the receipt but one individual at the location in Spanaway was able to locate it and make me a copy. I hate to say this but some people don't belong in your Corp office. No one there could help me with that situation. But a local person could kind of weird. All in all the Spanaway crew is awesome.Rodger R.

Overall the experience was good. Several times doors were not unlocked so you had to go to the office to have them unlock the big double doors. When you did have to go to the office the lines were slow because there was not enough people working. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Service was horrible. A manager should never give quotes/prices to anyone if she is not sure about the prices. I felt lied to, disrespected, and threatened by her Customer Service actions telling me that the price is the price and if I didn’t want it that she could just cancel my contract. No professionalism. No integrity. She also did not apologize for her actions of the prices she offered me or for giving me the wrong price. False advertisement. Defrauding a disable person. Manager states $74.95. At ring up charges $99.95 when she was specifically asked for a space down stairs to accommodate disability. No follow up from other managers to address and fix concerns. There was a brand new employee there when I moved my stuff in. It was 3 minutes to 7pm and I had a lot of stuff left to move. He comes up to me and says in a condescending tone “this place closes in 3 minutes, you need to wrap this up.” I told him that I thought the access was 24/7 and he replied that it’s not anymore because people were caught living in their units. I’m upset that he talked to me the way he did and also because this place is advertised as open 24/7. There was some debris on the floor and outside the unit in the hall including a broken lock on the floor right outside the unit. There is also a rodent bait station which I guess I should assume Uhaul put that there and I should leave it there. An explanation would be helpful though. It is also a disposable one so I dunno if it's empty and should be thrown out. The Uhaul video explaining that the passcode is for a gate code and a door code. This location doesn't have a gate like in the video. It has two doors and three keypads for passcodes. Which seems weird. I had to try all three to figure out which two I am supposed to put the passcodes in. I also don't know if their is another entrance to the storage since there are so many Uhaul vehicles around the entire building.
