Everything turned out very good, and the staff were great. It is sometimes difficult getting through on the phone to talk to someone though.

The truck was gross and dirty inside and everything was sticky
All of the staff @ U Haul Moving & Storage of Spanaway, Washington were incredibly helpful & kind. I had rented a 17 ft moving van, when I got to the lot to pick it up, I realized that it was too big for me to drive it. I immediately went back to the staff member & explained my situation & they were able to ditch my rental van to a 10 ft. I highly recommend this particular store for your moving needs. Thank you to all who helped make things go smoothly.
The morning crew that was present for the initial picking up of the trailer were very rude. First upon entering I was asked to put on a mask, which was expected. However, after informing them that I could not, one employee sarcastically remarked, "Oh! Great." Furthermore this employee was just putting his mask on when I entered the building and it had holes in it. Then when we were trying to hook up to the trailer the attendant helping practically yelled at my friend that he needed to be respectful, and he had not even said anything to her. The only comment he had made was that I got a small baby trailer. Then even though we were outside where masks are not required, she raised her voice and demanded that we back away from her and remain six feet away. Even though none of us were that close to her anyway. The afternoon crew was much more laid back and a lot easier to deal with. That is the only thing that kept this rating from being a one-star. However, I will not use your location or recommend it to anyone again.
I had trouble turning the key tostada the truck. Had to jiggle the key a long while to get it to turn to start the truck. Equipment needed some repair The key ignition needs to be repaired it is worn out

The truck was vary dirty out side. I hade to go to gas station to clean windshield to see good .

Quick and efficient drop off
Make sure that after they stand in the store for 15 minutes reserving a truck a week in advance and check on that reservation a couple of days later to confirm that they don't show up to get the truck only to be told that they aren't even in the system. This has happened to us twice at this location and it happened to a customer who was picking up the same time I was making my reservation. I didn't even get an apology, instead I was told â€œthis happens sometimes.â€ I guess that makes it okay. I will never return to this location.

They didn't have our reservation for our storage unit. Huge inconvenience and I want a partial refund for the issue with the tire and storage unit.
Aj has very great customer service skills. Answered any questions I had and made picking up and dropping off very easy. I would absolutely recommend this location to friends and family.

My husband and I reserved a 26 foot truck with auto transport for a move across the country. I called the day before to verify and was told by the first representative that my husband would have to travel to 2 different locations because the equipment was sparse. I called later that day and was told there was a truck and trailer available at the same location near our house. (I was told the truck was not pending drop off, but was actually waiting at the location for us to pick up). As my husband was leaving the house the next day to get the uhaul I received a text notification that Our truck was downgraded to a 20 foot truck even though we had already PRE PAID for everything!!!! I was told that no equipment was available in the whole state of Washington and that renting the 20 foot truck was our only option. After making multiple phone calls and waiting on hold, I was told that the representative called and left a message notifying us of this the night before. Neither my husband or I received a call or message. So the representative all out lied. It resulted in us having to leave furniture and various other items behind because we simply didn't have the space. When I called to complain I was offered $200 and the $50 reservation promise, but was told essentially that this was a gracious offer and that this isn't normally done. I left behind nearly $2000 in stuff that I now have to replace. Then they failed to refund the difference between the 26 foot truck and 20 foot truck which wasted more of my time making phone calls and having to wait excessively long to speak to a human being. I am still waiting on that refund and will NEVER EVER do business with Uhaul again. They have you pay for a service that they cannot provide and essentially do a bait and switch at the last minute leaving us and I am sure others in a lurch. I am an essential worker being a nurse and it was imperative that our move happen the day it did or otherwise I would have waited and demanded a full refund and went with another company. If this is how Uhaul does business then shame on you.
