The truck SUCKED. Had a gas leak and overdrive didnt work. Called talked to a lady about the situation. But when i got back with the truck to the facility they knew nothing about it. Service was not all that great but have had better service before at this. location.

Keep doing what youre doing... I have moved twice in 2 years and I will always use the Spanaway Uhaul. The process is always smooth and easy and the customer service is excellent. I had a reservation at another Uhaul location because it was closer and I changed it to Spanaway Uhaul because of the customer service. Thank You.

I pulled up to a sign saying for equipment return pull up and wait. I waited. While I was waiting I saw a young woman pull up in a minivan, park, pull a baby out of a car seat, and go inside. After she had left I finally gave up, went inside, and said that I got tired of waiting. One of the two women at the desk said, "I was with a customer and she's on the phone." I replied, "I was waiting before she arrived." No apology, no concern for customer service at all. If I can find somebody else who rents trailers, somebody who cares about customer service, they will receive my future business.

I requested my item at a different location. The day before I was supposed to get it I was informed that it was not available at my preferred location, the next closest was an hour out of my way. I needed the equipment, so I still got it at the alternate location. But I will never use uhaul again.

Friendly people who gave us some tips and made us feel like they wanted our business. We have other U-Haul locations near our other 6 offices in the area and chose this location over all the rest. It's just a better experience overall.

I had arranged a different drop off location that was 3 miles from my house. The dispatch department called and left a message saying that they needed the vehicle to be dropped off at the Pacific Ave location before 1147 hrs. I'm moving a house full of stuff and not monitoring my cell phone, my original drop off location was gonna give me another day without charge, the new drop off location wanted to charge me plus the extra mileage to take it to a location that I NEVER agreed too. I got emails from Uhaul saying "per our agreed upon contract", I call BS! The wife called the 800 number and they said not to worry about the time....THAN WHY THE DROP OFF LOCATION CHANGE? Uhaul, stop screwing with your customers originally agreed upon contract AND DON' T ASSUME THE CHANGE YOU WANT IS THE CHANGE YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE GOING TO AGREE!

I had to make a late decision to move my stuff it was late about 2:30 pm and I had no problem renting the size truck I needed to rent it was available. It work out for me and return it the next day.

Dear U-Haul Corporate, When I arrived to pick up my truck at 4:30PM on Friday the 18th, there was only one person at the counter. He had his Subway sandwich, chips and drink in front of him. I get eating during lulls on the job but as I'm trying to check in and get keys he's chowing down, trying to talk to me with his mouth full of food to the point I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. Thinking maybe he'd realize it was rude, unprofessional and most of unsanitary, he continued grabbing his sandwich and taking a big bite, getting food all over his face and trying to enter my address into the computer. Once I got the paperwork I needed the other gentleman was very nice and got the truck pulled around for me. Once I marked the locations on the truck were existing damage was that hadn't been marked, I went back inside. No one checked on the damage I'd referred to on the paperwork, which I guess is what it is. Then he tried to find me a different location than the one I was picking it up from to return the truck. This location is the closest to my new home so I thought it rather odd but went with it. He gave me 3 days which was more than enough time which I appreciated but he failed to mention the place he was having me drop it off at was closed on Sunday's and only open til 4pm on weekdays. This didn't work for me. I loaded the truck Friday night and Saturday morning and put lots of box against the back wall and bags of clothes and linens in the "Mom's Attic". Well, Saturday afternoon, we unload and find that multiple bags were literally filled to the brim with rain water!! Luckily because I'd packed the bags very well, they took the extent of the leaking roof and only a few boxes got wet but no significant damage that I could tell (just lots of unnecessary laundry to do now). Come Sunday morning, I called U-Haul scheduling and they saw no reason why I couldn't return it back to the Spanaway location I'd retrieved it from, especially since I had trouble with the roof leaking. I arrived in the afternoon and went inside. This time the worker at the counter was a female in her late 20's maybe early 30's. She was very flustered as the electronic sensor in the door wasn't working and her app to check me in wasn't working either. I explained what happened with the roof in thorough detail and how must stuff got wet. She basically said, so was anything damaged?! I said, well, no. Just very wet and lots of laundry because of how I packed things but it was very frustrating. She then said well that's good at least and then proceeded to charge me $0.39 additional for going over my 30 miles by 0.6 miles. I'm very very upset I wasn't offered any form of discount or anything. Definitely go somewhere else to avoid this unprofessional location.

Everyone there needs a class in customer service. Poor service. Makes u feel like pulling teeth to go there. Slow service a lot of standing around. Has gone down hill in last year.
